I thought this would be identical to the normal Royal Kludge 61, but it doesn’t have the full RGB, just white leds, no 2.4 ghz wireless, and not even double-shot pbt keycaps. The keycaps seem to be abs with how they can shine after using it, but it is still a really solid keyboard even with the blue switches. The RK switches are 3 pin and not 5 pin so it’s easier for the switches to come out with the keycaps when trying to switch them out. It even has a pretty good keycap and switch puller and three extra switches.
Overall pretty good for the price, but the normal RK 61 is so much better for the price.

I ordered this product not realizing it is some sort of truncated keyboard. That is of course my fault for not carefully reading the description. That said, I couldn’t get the wireless feature to work. The way keys are mapped is fairly bizarre. I wouldn’t bother writing a review but since this product is ineligible for a return I am registering my disappointment here.

Felt totally fine, very compact, good blue keyswitch feel.
Several people in the office commented on the cool christmasy keyboard, so it did its job.
I might repurpose it with some “normal” keycaps, or I might just save it for next December.
I had a slightly difficult time figuring out how to type a few characters (they’re key combinations, of course, since there are only 61 keys), but eventually figured it all out. I don’t think I want a 61 key keyboard as my “daily driver” but it was fun for Xmas.
