   This is a very good product. It feels nice on the touch and is very good in gaming.
   The fact that you can remove the right part of the keyboard with the numbers is practical I guess.
   However, it is a bit annoying when it disconnects in some angles of usage.
   This said, the price is very high so I believe you can find a cheaper and reliable produt.
   THe looks and feel is amazing though

   Key feel is excellent and metal base feels better than the plastic base of the Razer keyboard this is replacing. The switches are standard Cherry parts, so replacing the key caps in the future (if needed) will be easy. The detachable number pad can be placed on either end of the keyboard. I’m left-handed, but I use my right hand for the mouse and number pad, so I use a conventional layout, but that flexibility is nice to have all the same. When the keyboard is on the desk, the attachment is solid, but be careful when lifting the keyboard and be sure to use two hands to support both parts. The software is a bit lacking, though: it’s not obvious how to set different keys to different colours (see photo for my preferred layout) and you can’t use a single application to control peripherals along with internals (motherboard accessories like memory and CPU cooling and light strips). I do wish the maximum brightness was a bit more intense, but that’s a minor complaint.

   Let me begin by saying that this is one of the best keyboards I have owned in my life and this is 2021. This keyboard is discontinued and I happened to get an amazing deal to get my hands on this keyboard. I couldnt be more happier. This keyboard feels like a peace of jewellery. Coming from a Razor Cysona membraine keyboard, this keyboard is like music to my fingers. It looks beautiful even without downloading ASUS software. The RGB, the fit and finish and the presentation/packaging of this keyboard is flawless. You truly feel like a 5 star experience.
   Everyone who has been saying bad things about this keyboard is stating it because of the price. Of course if I had to spend the kind of money for original retail, I would expect more as well. But if you can find a good deal on this keyboard for price, then go for it. Its better then the Asus Rog Strix Scope keyboard in terms of premium feel. Just buy it!

   I have an almost all ASUS ROG or ROX Strix build. So keeping that going was a must. I had a hyper X tenkeyless which is liked because it also had a detachable cable and metal frame. But I needed the numpad for work as well as a variety of games i was playing using keybindings on the numpad. When I saw this keyboard had a metal frame and a detachable numbad I knew it was the perfect keyboard for me. I especially recommend the Brown switches.

   I had first tried a Corsair K95 Platinum, which by itself was a fine keyboard, but the software was a pain on my dual-monitor setup, and annoying to switch profiles. Since I have an ASUS ROG motherboard, I bit the bullet, paid the premium for the Claymore, and glad I did. It’s a great keyboard to type on, with the Cherry Brown keys, and the software is easy to use to remap keys, save and switch profiles, and play with color schemes. I haven’t yet saved macros to the 10-key, but will when I am doing more gaming or photo/video editing. And very cool to have it pulsing light show with ASUS ROG mouse and motherboard!

   I have had no problems with the keyboard its self, the key caps can come off after some years of use, and the leds start to dim after about 6 months, but hey for what it it its not that bad. I would buy one again, the paint can come off the keys if you have lots of salt or food on your hands.

   Si sólo lo vas a usar unicamente para jugar, es casi una compra obligada, la comodidad y precisión que dan sus teclas es perfecta, lo malo es que para redactar en español se hace falta la “ñ” y varios símbolos, se puede configurar el teclado a español desde la pc, pero la falta de botones hace que falten símbolos cómo el ” ‘ ” o el “?” ente otros, toca andar usando combinaciones para sacarlos, lo cuál hace la redacción lenta y tediosa.

    Purchased this keyboard on another website with Cherry MX Browns and I do like the keyboard overall, but it does have some minor faults to it. I’ll start with the pros of this keyboard: -Cherry MX switches. They’re supposed to come in MX Browns, Blues, Reds and Blacks as announced by ASUS, but I’ve only seen it available in Browns and Reds in the US. -Standard size bottom row, this makes buying keycaps much easier for those that want to upgrade to something like PBT caps. Most gaming keyboards using a modified bottom row so it’s nice to see ASUS sticking with a standard size. -Aluminum, Mayan design on the front. -Add on number pad that can be purchased separately, which can be used on either side of the keyboard. -Costar stabilizers on the shift, enter, backspace, spacebar etc… keys. I like these stabilizers a lot more than standard Cherry stabilizers so it’s nice to see more companies using Costar. -Detachable micro USB cable. This is a great feature as you won’t have to replace your whole keyboard should your cable go bad. -Packaging is very nice and it comes in a nice foam protection, inside a carrying bag. Now for the cons of this keyboard: -For the $160 asking price, I feel it’s too expensive if you’re just buying the Core, since it doesn’t come with the number pad accessory and that’s the main selling point of this keyboard. It’s more expensive than competing Cherry MX keyboards from GSkill and Corsair with less features out of the box such as no dedicated media keys, wrist rest, macros etc…if you want the volume wheel, you have to purchase the number pad add on. -Lighting is a little dim compared to something like Razer keyboards but that’s partly due to Razer using a white backplate on their keyboards that reflect more light. The quality of the LEDs are actually very good though, the color white for example looks accurate, much better than the Corsair LUX RGB keyboard I purchased a few months ago which had very obvious signs of light bleeding. I can provide a picture of the Corsair keyboard’s white LEDs to compare if someone requests it. -Software is very basic and lacking compared to Corsair’s CUE and Razer Synapse. The default rainbow wave doesn’t look as nice as what you get on the competing keyboards. Also lacking game integration and audio visualizers like you get with the competition. This can all be improved on in the future but for now it’s very basic. -The keyboard is pretty light and hollow which causes echo resonance sounds if you hit the larger keys with heavy force. -From those that have the numpad accessory, they said it doesn’t lock into place that well and can fall out if you’re picking up the keyboard and moving it, so keep that in mind. I don’t personally have the numpad, as I haven’t even seen it available in the USA yet, so this is just feedback from some YouTubers. In conclusion, I do really like this keyboard, it has its place in the market and with software updates, it could definitely be one of the best RGB keyboards on the market. I also want to say this is my favorite RGB Cherry MX keyboard and I use it over my Corsair LUX with MX Blues that I’ll probably end up selling, a big pro to me is the Costar stabilizers and the option that this can convert to a full sized keyboard. I’m docking only one star due to the software and the lack of a readily available MX Blue switch. Like I said before, the main selling point is the detachable number pad as you can remove it when you want to game and add it back on if you’re doing work that involves the number pad, it can also be used on the left side of the keyboard and used as macro keys. If you’re someone who values a feature like that above all else, than this is probably the keyboard for you.

    I’m finishing off my dream home office renovation and this brilliant keyboard is center stage. The ROG Claymore is awesome, the keys do all the right things and the build quality is second to none, but my favorite part is the RBG customizability. You can make any key any color you can find on a color wheel and also choose to make it twinkle, color change or trigger when pressed for different effects. I will have to wait to see about long term durability but I can’t imagine being without this beauty regardless.

    Wonderful keyboard to type on. No tactile feed back when pressing the keys (Cherry MX Reds). Since the board uses mechanical switches you can replace the key caps. The escape key and Q, W, E, R, A, S, D keys in the picture are not shipped with the keyboard. This board has a lot of features that require ASUS software to work, but they are not needed to just use they keyboard as normal. When using the ASUS Armoury software you can create 5 separate profiles each with personalized lighting effects and macros. There is a Number pad sold separately which can be attached to the right or left side. I paired this keyboard with the ROG Spatha mouse.
