One of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Absolutely love it.
Personally, I think the Apple Magic Keyboard is excellent. However, typing on this is a real joy, and it makes me look forward to working on it. It’s fun for video editing as well.
As far as speed goes, the Magic Keyboard is tops for me, and it should be considered among the best. That being said, the tactility of this keyboard is really enjoyable and I think worth the price of admission. It’s a blast.
I previously purchased the red linear version and while I enjoyed typing on it, I felt that it was poor for video editing because it’s difficult to particularly make out the number of key presses. It sort of feels like all the keys are jammed. It’s not wonderful.
I can’t compare this to windows keyboards, but if you’re on a mac and enjoy the low profile design, then I highly recommend trying this out.

This is a very good low profile keyboard, I have the white light version and I enjoy the typing on this keyboard. Very well built and the battery seems to last longer than I thought I use this keyboard daily for work 10 hours a day. Never had the battery die on me yet. If you like low profile keyboard this is a good pick up.

Low profile, mechanical, backlit, wireless/wired, aluminum body. What more can you ask for! Typing experience is amazing with these tactile brown switches and high quality keycaps, and seamlessly connects with the windows machine. It’s a bit pricey, but you’re getting more than what you pay for here compared to Logitech and others.
Keychron is great!

Beautiful keyboard, well built with metal base, pretty heavy as well, typing is smooth and enjoyable, but:
– bluetooth connectivity is the worst
– 3-5 time a day it just randomly disconnects (not like battery saving feature, I have it turned off)
– I have to unpair and pair it again, which is hassle as well. sometimes it doesn’t work so I need to turn off and on the keyboard.
– I am using the keyboard continuously for about 3-4 hours and it happens during this period.
– Somethings it just does it when I want to wake up laptop. Anyways, pretty frustrating.
I am using keyboard with Macbook Pro which is closed on its own vertical stand. I had Apple keyboard and never had any bluetooth issue, it has started with this one.
I love this Keyboard, but its only feature to support typing is not working several times a day. Did all updates and stuff like that still same issue.

The keyboard is pretty solid and you get your money’s worth. The keys are really nice and the feel is good — as would be expected from a Keychron (I also have the K4 – brown switch) keyboard. This time I went for the red switch as I am not a fan of the clickity-click sound. I am glad as I prefer the quietness of the red switch.
The main issue is the little toggle switches on the side: (a) switch between cable and bluetooth (b) switch between Windows and Mac
The switches doesn’t move smoothly, requiring you to dig in with your fingernail to move it. The standard expectation is that the pressure from the flesh of your fingertip should be enough to slide those switches.
It may not be an issue that everybody faces — I switch between my work macbook (via bluetooth) and my home windows PC (via cable) — but something you might want to be aware of if you are in a similar situation.

It isn’t a Model M, but its a good keyboard. I think personally I’d probably like a bit less flat design, and frankly modern edgeless keyboards lead to a lot of spurious key bumps, but within those design constraints I can reasonably type fast on this, and it feels pretty good. For a full sized kb it is pretty compact and everything works as advertised. Battery life and BT performance is all generally quite good too. Keychron makes good products, and they are not overpriced.
