   This is a great gaming and typing keyboard. The only reason that is has four rather than five stars is because the information on the key strokes is so confusing and contradictory. This is not a silent keyboard like the old detachable Mac keyboard. It is by no means something that would wake the sleeping, though someone in the other room will know we are typing. That all said, the feel of the keyboard is great and it is the first keyboard I feel has a helpful wrist rest. The lighting and the color behind the keys is excellent with a lot of choices. It uses the same software as my Corsair headset so no additional clutter on that end. In all other ways this is an excellent keyboard.

   This is a solid gaming keyboard that let’s you customize the background RGB lighting by zones. There are other more advanced keyboards that allow more customization but you pay substantially more for it. For my purposes this was great. It is wired via USB and therefore you never have to worry about batteries or bad wireless connection. The keyboard is very responsive and not too loud when typing. My only dislike is that apparently Corsair decided they wanted to redesign what an ampersand looks like, and the result is this strange symbol instead of the familiar “&”. Picture attached.

   I’m cheap and never buy keyboards. I finally needed a new one and got this one. I absolutely love it! It has great functionality, feel and isn’t very loud at all which is nice in the office. I also like the angle this keyboard lies on the desk. My other keyboard was way too flat on the desk so it made me feels like I was reaching. Not with this one though! Cool color effects with the software and macro functionality. I’ll probably be picking up a second one to replace my keyboard at home.

   I like the keyboard feel and look. It is cool how you can change the key colors to any color. It is very bright! The keyboard sound isn’t that loud and has a soft push. The only thing I do not like is the macro programming for the keys. The Logitech program recognizes the program you use and you can change whatever macro button you want for that specific program. Other than that it’s great!

   For context, I am not a gamer and I use this keyboard for typical casual use for my computer. Overall, I thought the keyboard was decent for the price point. The keys themselves are comfortable to use and I have not yet run into any issues with the keys. The lights on the keyboard are bright and have very nice colors. However, RGB lighting software for the Corsair keyboard sucks. I have to reset the color settings every now and then after booting up the computer because the settings do not save all the time so it gets a little annoying.

    I noticed that I was having trouble reading the symbols on the keys so I went into ICUE, their software, and wanted to go for a static more brighter, lighter, color to shine through the keys to bring out what the symbols are. With everything set to WHITE in ICUE the best I can do is get a dull bluish color and I can barely see what the keys are “when sitting in a chair at an angle”. I do not recommend this keyboard to anyone. Buy a keyboard that has the key symbols painted on it. This is my second Corsair keyboard and I have been disappointed in both.

    I have 2 of my G keys set to select two audio outputs via the Elgato stream deck integration. I don’t use the Game lock feature , so i set my lock key to lock my computer. Teh iCUE software is top-notch. And, the Elgato stream deck integration is sweet!.

    The paint is peeling off the letters after only 5 months. The software, iCue, is absolute trash. Don’t download it or it will cause your keyboard’s lights to malfunction. Spend a little more money and go with a different brand. In case you didn’t know, they make stream deck, and I’m having the same issues with that software/hardware, go figure.

    Pros: Solid build quality, keys have an excellent tactile feel and good pressure and travel. And is very quiet.

    Con: the corsair RGB app is garbage, and even though i did some troubleshooting with any other RGB controllers that may be conflicting, I still could not make it do what I wanted it to in the app.
    Still leaving a 5 star review for this because the keyboard has hardware RGB controls and you can still change all the color modes and options from keyboard combos (which I what I prefer anyway).

    I’ve had this keyboard since i can remember. Very good quality i’ve used and abused this thing like crazy and even spilled stuff on it it’s very easy to clean and has held strong. Very good key quality too and overall great craftsmanship.

    This keyboard looks great. However, the keys are too tall. They need to be smaller and they need to require less pressure. The biggest issue is the labeling of the keys. Many of the keys that require the shift key are backwards. For example, the comma is on top of the key instead of the bottom. I have attached a picture for reference. I would recommend getting another keyboard if you will be using this for anything other than gaming. This one looks nice and it works fine for gaming, but it is not great for typing.

    Overall i love it. Very quiet to type, keys feel good when pressed. Lights are bright and clear, easy to read letters. Software is good, easy to use/setup. Would buy again in the future. Don’t have a good pic of just the keyboard but this one is from half the room away, with the light on, and you can still see the keyboard is bright and deep rich red.

    Item was advertised as “new” and invoice shows it being as such. However, it arrived in a plain brown cardboard box (as opposed to the yellow and black retail packaging) – there was no separate shipping box. A yellow cardboard insert from Corsair accompanied the keyboard. The sealing label which kept box closed was already cut upon receipt. Corsair is telling me all “new” merchandise should be contained in retail packaging and that refurbished products will be packed in a plain brown box. Unless I’m missing something, I will be returning it I suppose. EDIT: Ultimately decided to keep this keyboard as it looks like new and wound up using it for a different pc build than originally intended since I wanted a backlit keyboard (didn’t really care about flashy RGB gamer stuff). I have to admit, it is pretty nice even if it is a membrane board. Icue software made it a breeze to set the desired lighting. No complaints other than the possible refurbished issue which I’m still on the fence about. Upgraded from 3 to 4 stars.

    I have been using standard keyboards my whole life (35 years) and this one is my favorite so far. The key clicking sound is so satisfying and the light up features are cool. I did change the lighting to just a soft white (download the software to do so) which has been a plus. (See attached picture) I didn’t care for the rainbow effects. The F and J key home key bumps (nipples) are easy to feel for and help getting back to the home row quick… a huge plus for me. I do some gaming but I got this mostly for office work and I am 100% satisfied with what it does for me. The Macro keys are a godsend. I have all my favorite websites and apps tied to the macro keys significantly reducing time wasted clicking around my book marks and desktop icons. It saves about 6 seconds per website lookup with doesn’t sound like much but it adds up after going to the same six resources over and over. If your an average person looking for an upgrade, this is a good choice. If your a super gamer, look at other reviews first before making your decision.

    Compre este teclado porque no puedo hacer ruido en la casa y personalmente tampoco me gusta que hagan ruido, es silencioso para mis estándares, yo tenia un teclado de membrana generico y hace muchos mas ruido que este. Tiene buena iluminación led, aunque no alumbra demasiado cumple con su función de poder escribir facil en las noches al ver fácilmente las teclas. Tambien tiene macros cosa que no he utilizado todavía. Tiene teclas multimedia que se agradece bastante para subir y bajar el volumen, pausar musica o video, poner mute a todo el audio del sistema etc, etc. En general contento con el teclado para mis necesidades es mas que suficiente. Otros teclados mas baratos se les borra las teclas con el tiempo este parece mas robusto y mas resistente. I bought this keyboard because I can’t make noise in the house and personally I don’t like it when they make noise either, it’s quiet by my standards, I had a generic membrane keyboard and it makes a lot more noise than this one. It has good LED lighting, although it does not shine too brightly, it fulfills its function of being able to write easily at night by easily seeing the keys. It also has macros which I have not used yet. It has multimedia keys that are very appreciated to raise and lower the volume, pause music or video, mute all the system’s audio etc, etc. In general happy with the keyboard for my needs is more than enough. Other cheaper keyboards will erase the keys over time this seems more robust and more resistant.

    I purchased this keyboard in September 2022 and it has been my daily driver since. Ultimately, I do not recommend this model; perhaps newer ones are better, but I will never trust Corsair again to even check them out. There are many pros to this keyboard that have been mentioned numerous times throughout the reviews. Almost all of them are true, until they aren’t. Here’s a few points. iCUE software allows you to program hotkeys, macros, Stream Deck integration, lighting, and more! Sure, until it goes into a brick loop and you have to reset your keyboard, which destroys everything you’ve built. Try having 50+ keys and profiles for games, work, and other computer programs, but you have to rebuild them every few months. Is this keyboard worth 8 hours of trouble shooting three to four times a year? The keyboard is ergonomic, and the height and key weight do make it a joy to type on. However, per my attached photo, my wrist rest was received warped. It was so tightly secured I didn’t realize it until after six months of ownership when it finally had enough and popped off. For the last two years, it’s never gone back, and it’s been a pain to use. You don’t know joy until you’ve slipped and tapped a wrist rest in the perfect scenario where it pops up and slaps you in the face like a fish fighting a net. On the other subject, I’ve had an issue with the D button double and triple pressing. That’s been a joy in video games! It doesn’t happen much in typing, but when it does, you can be sure I’m dddddddddepressed about it. If I didn’t hold shift in Minecraft, so many ledges would own me. All in all I can’t get rid of the keyboard until Premiere pro has better hotkey integrations for stuff like the stream deck, but once it does, you can be sure nothing with the Corsair branding will ever touch my desk again. I already learned my lesson with their headphones, but the keyboard put them in the grave for me.

    A little difficult to map the side buttons, but overall the best keyboard I’ve ever had. My wife won one in a giveaway, and I had to get one myself. So many settings that make this fully customizable for lights, buttons, and settings. Feels great and quiet. Brightness can be adjusted.

    My favorite setting is having the keyboard lights reflect what’s showing on the monitor.

    I’ve used and loved this keyboard for about a month now. The clicks feel smooth, it’s not too loud, the colors look great… I only have one complaint: just the other day I was playing steam games with a friend and idk how or why I never noticed before but… I looked down and saw that I have two G keys. I am missing the D (yes, yes, immature chuckles lol). I’ve emailed support about getting a replacement key and am waiting to hear back. If they actually respond then I will give up the last star. This doesn’t really affect gameplay but I’d still like it for aesthetics XD

    I bought this keyboard because I thought I’d be able to use my keys from my old keyboard but I can’t!! This is my fault for not looking into what kind of keys they are. However it’s super quiet and still uses Icue. Wouldn’t recommend for gamers that like to customize their stuff.
