   I got this because I broke my k95 keyboard. I wanted to replace it but wasn’t willing to shell out $200 again. I compromised by buying the k60 but I absolutely love it. Its smaller for sure – the k95 in comparison is bulky and has a wrist pad which is nice for a larger desk with more space. I have a very compact desk so I much prefer the k60, plus I really appreciate the minimalistic approach. You get the keys you expect and any ‘extra’ functions are tied to using the FN button along with pressing the corresponding function key. For example to mute you press FN and F5 (there’s an icon on the F5 key). I do miss the k95 having a volume bar and mute button that you can access with one press – but it’s a trade off of size vs extra buttons. The keyboard feels great to use and feels like it’s made of quality materials. If you have a larger desk, want extra buttons, and have $200 for an RGB keyboard go with the K95. If you want a standard size keyboard that looks really sharp go with the K60. The iCue software lets you customize the layout/colors on your PC.

   This is a good-looking keyboard with excellent tactile feel. However, in just over two months since owning this keyboard, two keycaps have cracked…and at this rate, I expect more to crack. I’m a heavy typist but I’ve never had keycaps crack from any of the prior mechanical keyboards I’ve used. Disappointing.

    Poor packaging let this product down. Product is wrapped in a plastic bag and then put in a box. Wouldn’t be surprised if all of their keyboards arrived damaged. Whatever it was dropped on went straight through the outside cardboard and made a sharp notch in the metal that’ll need filing down. Nice colours and software to edit this. Good heavy feel to the keyboard but be warned it is LOUD to type on.

    This is my entry into mechanical keyboards, so I cannot accurately compare the switches to others, but to me they feel great. I love the sound, and feel of typing on these keys. The leds are bright, vivid, and very customizable. Build quality and comfort are exactly what you should expect for your money. Corsair outdid themselves with this board, and I couldn’t be happier. For me personally, there are no cons, but somethings I could see being an issue for some: No detachable cord Switches are not hot swappable, swapping switches will void your warranty The feel of the viola switches may be an issue for a person who has interacted with many different types of switches in the past No dedicated multimedia keys (the controls are still there with “fn + F10” for example” If you’re looking for a budget friendly, feature rich, well built keyboard, you’ve just found it.

    Great keyboard for the price but occasionally my a key and my escape key “double tap” so instead of just a coming out it types aa and sometimes when I go to close a game menu with escape it opens the options to close the game. Then when I try and close that menu with escape it closes it and then almost instantly reopens. As if I clicked escape twice but I only click it once in reality. I also switched out some keys with an old keyboard. Just the main game keys. QWERASDF which might account for the A sticking but I doubt it since escape is the original keys that came with the keyboard I’m skeptical.

    It has a great response time but the keyboard itself seems like it’s catering to typing more than it is to gaming. It’s almost impossible to use without this rugburn-inducing wrist pad because the edge of the keys ends up jabbing into your fingers without it. the pad has many bumps in the fabric to increase traction but that’s not something you really want sliding up against your skin constantly. The keys are also too stiff even for a mechanical keyboard. If you like typing with your wrist resting against the table or have even remotely sensitive skin then I would not suggest this keyboard.

I needed a keyboard to use for work and playing light games, but Keys are coming out of the place (my ESC key is even broken because it happens to come out too often). Also, when I press my “A” key it types double/triple times on screen. Don’t buy this keyboard, it’s waste of your money.

    Almost a year ago, I was looking for a wired mechanical keyboard to replace an existing keyboard that had some annoying hot keys as part of a larger effort to improve my hardware experience for a mid-range Windows laptop– a larger mouse pad and higher-end Corsair mouse were also involved. I do a lot of typing at a fairly fast rate; there was a period of adjustment to a mechanical keyboard, perhaps a few weeks, until I became accustomed to it. While I would not go back on the home computer, I’m not about to buy a second keyboard for work, either. My rate of typing or productivity has not noticeably improved, but the overall experience of typing on the keyboard is more pleasant–sort of evokes typing on a manual typewriter if you’re old enough to have done that. Note that the keyboard is fine for this but you might consider purchasing a separate wrist rest. Lack of one wasn’t a deal-breaker for me after several months of heavy use. I play video games on this, to include some fast-paced stuff where reflexes matter, and this keyboard is also good in that role if you prefer a standard US layout rather than, say, the split ergonomic layout. If you do not need programmable macro buttons or stuff to control a Twitch stream or anything like that, this’ll work fairly well for you. After about three months of use, the “stem” of the Caps Lock keycap broke; I removed the Pause Break key and put it in its place and got on with my life–that’s why it’s like that in the photo. I’ve had a few other keycaps pop off in the ten months I’ve had this, but no other breaks; a quick internet search on the topic seems to show that keycaps popping off are a thing with mechanical keyboards (“put tape on them,” folks seem to say–meh, no thanks). On a Windows device, I occasionally have to unplug/replug into the USB port to get the keyboard to respond. Otherwise, the K60 is not a hassle to own or use.

    after owning this product for less than 6 months, my W, A, S, and D keys all broke, where the guides for the switches to connect to the key caps had parts break and fall off. This caused the key caps to not be able to hold onto the keyboard, and forced me to replace the keycaps with keycaps from my old keyboard. I was willing to gloss over this for some time, but now I have other less used keys also breaking after only owning this product for 7 months. (I’ve had other corsair products that still hold up today, which I bought in 2017) Today, what motivated me to write this review, was my semi colon key breaking. That key is hardly used and it’s still failed. I can only imagine that it’s just a matter of time before I have to replace this keyboard entirely. Highly unsatisfied, I would not recommend for anyone to purchase this product.

    Este teclado al inicio no queria por el precio pero al ver las reseñas me anime a comprarlo, y vaya que valio la pena cada centavo, ya que las teclas son muy comodas al tacto y los switches del teclado son muy buenos. Lo recomendo ampliamente ya que aparte de lo anterior comentado es comodo en todo sentido, el tamaño compacto que tiene hace pensar que tienes un teclado de 75% asi mismo el hecho de que se pueda personalizar cada una de las teclas y funciones que tiene lo hace mejor aun, ya llevo usandolo mas de 1 año y no tengo ninguna queja.

    I spent a lot of time researching gaming keyboards while trying to find something that would suit my needs for work too. When I came across this keyboard initially, I was skeptical since I thought I would prefer brown switches (quiet with a preference for a tactile bump); I had never used linear switches before, so although it felt like a risk, it TOTALLY paid off. This keyboard is insanely comfortable, quiet, and honestly looks amazing. – AESTHETICS: The RGB lighting is ridiculously saturated and the brushed aluminum finish provides such a clean look. I do like that there are onboard lighting modes/options since I can’t download the customization software onto my work laptop (also a nice option for those whose work laptops use Linux since a lot of keyboard lighting software isn’t compatible). – KEYCAPS: I appreciate that Corsair went with a cleaner font for the key caps (small detail, but to me it adds to the clean look of this keyboard). The key caps do leave some fingerprinting/residue behind on occasion, but to me it’s never been very noticeable or bothersome. – PORTS: There is no USB or audio port built into the keyboard, for which I have to say at least a USB port would’ve been nice (I imagine this would’ve been tougher with the limitations of a low profile build, though). – LOW PROFILE BUILD & SWITCHES: I will say that the low profile build, especially in this case with the Cherry MX low profile speed switches that have a smaller actuation distance than typical, may not be everyone’s preference. I personally feel like the switches provide such a nice response and keep me from bottoming out, which is nice from an ergonomic standpoint. For others though, I can see that it might feel too sensitive and induce extra typos. It wasn’t the case for me at all, and overall I would say this keyboard totally met all of my needs.

    I ordered the keyboard on the 19th. Got it the 25th. Shipment was great. I opened it the 26th. It was missing the Left Alt Key. I spoke to Both Corsair and go-keyboard.com. The only option I received from customer service was to send the entire thing back instead of producing a key for me. Which means I would have to wait longer to use my new pc build. Everyone I spoke with had told me to order the keyboard from corsair but thus far I am left unimpressed and rather irritated. I wouldn’t recommend getting this product if you are worried about dealing with customer service.

    This was my second mechanical keyboard. My first was ducky and I would have gotten another if it weren’t for supply chain issues. This corsair keyboard was highly reviewed on go-keyboard.com so I gave it a try … and much to my dismay, the “a” only works intermittently and the left control key keeps popping off… no help from the seller! Edit 3/19/23: now the “r” key is starting to go and the delete key has started popping off.

    This year, I decided to switch to a gaming PC rather than using my laptop over the past few years, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of this keyboard. The feel is nice, the build is sturdy, and the lighting options out the box are impeccable. Typing on this keyboard is a breeze, and it suits my feel of Low Profile, due to its subdued almost tacky sound with each keystroke; I prefer that compared to a louder clacky sound on my keyboard. My only gripe with this product, is that the keycaps aren’t as customizable, but that isn’t much of an issue because I am not looking to break the bank on my keyboard. But if you need a good priced, good value, beautiful keyboard that’s good to go out the box, this will definitely be my recommended go to for all my friends entering the PC world of gaming.

    So 1.5 years into the keyboard’s life, the F5 keycap broke on me, you could pull it up and see where the plastic broke where it connects to the keyboard. They sent me a replacement for the key cap. Some time later the ESC key broke on me. Now, exactly 2 years later, and exactly out of warranty(!), the ‘L’ key has broken on me, both the keycap and the part on the keyboard that connects to it, so a simple keycap replacement would not suffice. Desperately looking for a keyboard with some durability to it…. this keyboard ain’t it. Good luck!

    The colors are nice, the keyboard is nice but I have two broken keys and so it’s pretty much useless because I need my F10 and my right control key which are both broken. I did not put undue pressure on them either. I feel that the underneath part of the keys is made of inferior plastic.
