   Quality keyboard, nice to type and game on, not too noisy and not clicky, a satisfying sound from the keys. The keys sit slightly higher than what I’m used but it’s not uncomfortable. The wrist rest could be a little deeper to make it a little more comfortable for those with larger hands, that’d be my only complaint. I feel like it was great value at the discounted price I paid.

   It’s my first mechanical keyboard, and i can say im in love. It types amazing, being my first Cherry MX Switch i’ve used ever, it feels really great. Packaged really well, shipped with no issues. I can game really well with it, i’d say is a nice upgrade from my old Logitech membrane keyboard. QUICK AF response time. The key caps fit my fingers JUST RIGHT, if you have big fingers i’d not suggest this keyboard as the key caps may be small for some, making you push several keys at once. I do get a bit tired and my wrist hurts a little bit, i’m sure that will pass as i get used to it though, and the included wrist rest feels ok, it helps. I do not give it a 5 star because 1, it wasn’t shipped in another box, it was just plain showing all the specs and what the product was, and i did not like that knowing people could be curious… and damage something. And 2, the “P” key cap has a little paint (i guess) flaw on it, not a big deal, can’t even see it or feel it when typing, but i did expect a flawless finish on this. Oh and a minor detail, the “0” key didn’t fully light up when i started using it, i had to press the key for it to light up, but that could be my Power Supply just oofing on my since the problem is now gone. Over all, an amazing purchase for 80$, so far no major complaints and i don’t think i’ll have one in the near future. If you are looking for a first Mechanichal keyboard, this is it! GET IT NOW! :3 I’ll leave a picture of how sexy my setup looks now, and the P key cap too.

   Not a huge deal, but I haven’t even had this for a week and the ‘R’ key’s light is already out. I know not all devices are perfect so I’m not going to give this a negative review…but it’s there. The last keyboard I used….didn’t even have that for a full year and most of the keys on the right side stopped working. 😛 Otherwise, I love this keyboard. I’ve told other people that it feels like ‘typing on a cloud’. Feels nice. After other mechanical keyboards out there I’ve used, this one feels just right.

   Put simply, the most important things about a keyboard for gaming are performance, durability, and style. For people who have enough space, this Corsair K68 Mechanical Keyboard really does have an amazing build that considers each aspect of the keyboard. Firstly, the red silicon backing gives protection against dust and some amount of moisture while limiting the depth of each keystroke and giving a nice red glow when the LED function is on. The depth being limited on the keyboard allows for a gamer to input a command much faster while being able to switch to another key (faster typing and manipulation of the keys). Secondly, the durable frame allows for flexibility in positioning the keyboard; furthermore, the material surprisingly does not track as much finger oil as is expected from keyboards. Lastly, the wrist rest is solid but comfortable. This allows for focus in gaming, without pain, and it also has a nice, appealing design. This is all I have to say about this keyboard, but I do not think that it is insignificant.

   Let me start by saying I’d give this 4.5 stars if I could. This is my first mechanical keyboard (and I’ve been a PC gamer for a long time.) I knew mechanical keyboards had some considerable positives over traditional membrane keyboards, but all the mechanical keyboards I’ve had the chance to use over the years have been loud and pretty pricey. I’m happy to say this one isn’t loud at all. No clacking or anything, just kind of a soft sound. I know my experience is subjective but it’s maybe 25% as loud as other mechanical keyboards I’ve used before at friends’ houses and the like. I have to commend it for feel as well. Keys switches feel precise. Full metal back-plate makes it rigid (which I guess is something people look out for, but I’m also a soft typist.) The main thing I don’t like is the lights beneath the keys are just one large light that seems to be placed in the top half of the key. For keys that are more than a single symbol (for example CAPS LOCK or the number keys that are both the number and the symbol i.e. 5 and %,) it’s lit unevenly. See the photo I attached for the review. It looks worse in person than what my phone camera shows, unfortunately. The brighter you light up the keyboard, the worse it looks. I know I’m nitpicking but this isn’t a cheap keyboard. Overall, a 9/10 keyboard. You get a nice handful of effects to choose from Corsair’s iCUE software. Pleasantly surprised by how quiet the keyboard is. Feels sturdy. It’s a model keyboard that’s been out for years now. Just wish the lighting for the keys was even. Nicest keyboard I’ve owned yet.

    the only complaint my husband has is that the wrist-rest attachment is a bit uncomfortable to him when trying to game. And takes up a bit of space but the good thing is u don’t need to keep it attached so otherwise?? All of it has held up nicely for the last 2 months. The key sounds are not too loud, but not quiet at all. So expect others to hear u typing for sure. You must download software before trying to use all of its features as well. Update:: it isnt as dust repellent as they make it sound. Collects dust and needs to have an air spray can cleaning every couple of days in our studio

    The open frame design has the backlight LEDs outside the frame and not hidden inside the keycap. So they directly shine out the back of the keyboard and reflect off your monitor (if both are on a table) in a dark room. The switch complaint is that I probably picked the wrong SKU but they are completely smooth press with 0 tactile feed back. If you type hard the keycap hitting the frame makes noise but there is no snap as the switch triggers. So soft presses (usually on scroll keys) seam like ghosts. If you don’t touch type this shouldn’t be an issue.

    Just a comparison of what I used to use, it’s a huge upgrade imo. The keys feel really nice and I’m glad the keyboard has weight to it. The letters faded on the old one, this keyboard has a different material which prevents that. The only part I don’t like is the spacebar, it’s different from the rest of the keys (loose and loud click sound) and is loud asf because I press it with my thumb.
