   This is a very nice keyboard, very quiet and highly customizable RGB. I have colours that change with CPU and GPU temp for example. It’s also silent as advertised. I’ll point out that the keys depress linearly but there’s no tactile click or anything, so they actually are “pressed” before bottoming out which until you get used to it can be weird. The keys seem to already have a bit of wear (W especially) and it’s only been a few months.

   Sincerely, the best keyboard I’ve ever owned. Love the design, love the color options. But most of all, I love owning a mechanical keyboard that isn’t loud! It’s only slightly louder than my old membrane keyboard. Very, very happy with it.

   As someone who sits on the computer for 8+ hours a day, I find it important to have a good comfortable keyboard to do my work on. You can feel the quality right away on these switches – the actuation is very precise. The MX Silent switches do a very good job of dampening the noise over the Reds (although you can still get some noise if you really want to mash the keys), this makes it perfect for the office if you don’t want to disturb those around you.

   Exactly what I wanted when I bought my last keyboard.
   The keyboard just feels like the right size. It’s not huge and not too small so it fits my hands just right.
   It’s really quiet just like I wanted but still has the feel of the mechanical keyboard I really was looking for as well as all of the keys are very responsive to touch and feel texturally nice to press.
   It has excellent RGB profiles on their application and a lot of customizable options.
   The volume controls are an excellent addition as well.
   All in all it is an excellent keyboard and barring any malfunctions it may have due to use or manufacture down the line, it is exactly what I wanted.

   EDIT: I got my replacement keyboard due to the left set of ctrl+alt+del not working. This new one is great! Below I also complained about the sound of the key springs and some keys being “crunchy” which is completely gone with the new keyboard! All of the keys are very nice to press. There must have been something really really wrong with the last one I had. Please, if you notice any of the below issues I originally had return it at once and get a new one! Original Review: The keyboard is quiet, almost too quiet? You can hear the springs ringing in some of the keys as you type. There are some keys that are worse than others and you can feel the spring crunch while pressing them. The NUM LOCK indicator light is as bright as the North Star and is very distracting to me (see photo). It will add a lens flare to any photo you take! The CUE software is great! A lot of the bad reviews I think are of older versions. The software works like using layers in Photoshop. As soon as you realize this the possibilities are endless. You can save any profile to the keyboard as long as they are static colors and not have to run the CUE software. For example you can have the whole keyboard one color and specific keys another color and this will save to the keyboard. The white color on this keyboard has a purple hue to it. Turning down the red doesnt help any. Some colors and angles you can see the different red or green or blue led’s reflect off other keys. The other colors besides white are fantastic. I have really grown to like the textured space bar. Currently waiting on a replacement as the left ctrl+alt+del doesnt work, but any combination of any left or right ctrl or alt and del works… Corsair said to have it replaced through go-keyboard.com.

   I got the k70 lux silent and boy is it awesome. These are cherry keys so they don’t have the bump that the browns have but they also feel so responsive! I mainly wanted to share that this keyboard works with corsair effects engine which is super cool because you can sync the leds to whatever sound you have playing and it gets me a lot of compliments from guest. It’s not as quiet as say a membrane keyboard but compared to other mechanical ones this one is really quiet and I no longer receive the complaints that I used to get a lot about hearing me type during game play. I’m not sure if it justifys the price though I mean it has a lot of features that I love and actually use all the time the volume scroll wheel thing in particular is awesome, I just have a hard time justifying the price but for the amount of use I’m going to get out of it, and for how much better it feels than other keyboards maybe that makes it okay.
