This was my second purchase of a Corsair keyboard. My first keyboard has brown cherry switches while the second unit has red cherry switches. Both keyboards are great for gaming applications.

Awesome keyboard. I love typing on it even more so than any other keyboard I’ve had. This is my first mechanical keyboard and my only issue with this one is the keys are a bit too close for my liking (backspace, mostly). Once I re-learn the distance between keys on this keyboard compared to most standard keyboards, I think the it will be no problem.
I also have had issues installing the software to customizing the lights.

This keyboard is my first mechanical keyboard, and I am not disappointed. it feels great, the LEDs work great,and typing and gaming on this feels like a luxurious dream. The keys feel great and make a satisfying clack(I have Reds, so it’s not that loud.) I switched out the WASD keys for the red, rubberized grip ones they give you, and it feels great when playing Battlefield 4. The space bar has a rugged texture, for those of you who have an affinity towards it. the LEDs come with three levels and an off. This is great because I do not use teh LEDs for the most part, so it saves and life in the end. I hate using membrane now. It does take a while to adjust to this. i can’t touch type on this as well as I do, with membranes.
My Main gripe: For my old keyboard, i could wake my computer up from Sleep or shutdown, by pressing a key on my keyboard. With this keyboard, if I do that, the computer wakes, but the keyboard does not respond at all. The only solution is to unplug and replug. I am driving to see if it is a driver issue, but Corsair doesn’t make this easy. i am trying to do it, via a Corsair update utility, but it keeps failing, and then the keyboard hangs again. It’s not a serious issue, but it is an inconvenience.
