   The mouse is accurate except for the scroll wheel, which randomly scrolls in the opposite direction about 40% of the time. Instead of scrolling up-up-up-up-up-up-up it will scroll down-down-up-down-up-up-up.

   Ignoring the problems with the scroll wheel, it’s a quality mouse with good ergonomics and high quality materials. If you are ever time travelling back to the 1980s, or need a non-functional movie prop, this is the mouse for you.

   great for everyday use and gaming. i like minimalism. this mouse is great in that regard. there are no side buttons, but i really do not miss them as i usually end up clicking them by accident. the sides of this mouse are rubber so it remains comfortable even after long sessions. the weight of the mouse itself is nice too. big fan of corsair products, big fan of this mouse.

   I was really dissapointed that it came in a plain cardboard box and was not sealed in any way. Actually had some residue where a sticker used to be. Mouse works fine so far, but i have a feeling I got a refurb even though it was sold as new.

   –Update–
   For the last couple months it doesn’t track right at all- just wiggles around while trying to move a straight line. Do not recommend

   This is a perfect gaming mouse. It has a great feel in the hand and the clicks have a nice feedback feel to them. The click wheel is awesome, makes it very easy to control the amount of scrolling needed. The rubber grips on the sides make it really nice to grip and the size of the mouse allows you to use this mouse for hours on end.

   Best bang for you buck!

   Id recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a great gaming mouse that doesn’t break the bank and can compete in design and quality of other higher end gaming mice.

   This mouse is better than M65, IMO. I have both for a few years now, and I have several kinds mice as well.. I Tried to like M65, but never felt comfortable, my fingers hurts and my hand got fatigue from it after using for a while(it’s got no grip).. this mouse KATAR I liked most(it’s got good grip), everything about it works great for me, very responsive, really like the side grips, and I like the cord it’s not threaded.. that M65 does not have (both are great working mice BTW).. The KATAR is a little short(not small but just a little shorter than most standard size mice., a little wider, and light, comfortable(for me anyway), I can game with it all day and night.. but this is just my opinion… at first I didn’t even like this mouse. took me a long time, now I love it.

   I find this mouse to be very comfortable and efficient. Even if you have big hands like me, it just feels like it’s giving you true accuracy of where you want to place your cursor. When gaming, it pinpoints to exactly where you want it to go, and not just in gaming, but in any apps. Downloading the software suite at http://www.corsair.com/en-us/company/contact# and going to downloads, the Corsair Utility engine offers a plethora of options (too many for me to be honest) but if you’re into that, you can tweak the sensitivity of the mouse in every detail. The built in dpi button, just bottom to the middle scroll wheel is already plenty enough. But the software allows you also to adjust the lighting, which I think it awesome. This certainly works well in conjunction with a Corsair keyboard as well (I prefer the K70 RGB) because you can adjust both peripherals in the same software engine. Great mouse for the price. I highly recommend this little guy.

    This mouse feels great! The DPI switch in the middle of the mouse that changes the sensitivity is nice to have. The mouse is quite sturdy and the backlit red corsair logo is a plus as well. A plain a simple mouse good for anything and even gaming.

    This mouse just arrived, and I’ve had a few days to use it, and so far it is working as expected.

    I’ve found the dpi button is actually very useful. I like to set the mouse to a very sensitive setting, so i can quickly move the mouse around the screen. If I let my daughter or someone else use the computer, the mouse is way to sensitive for them. so its is nice to just be able to press the button a few times to adjust the sensitivity.

    Amazing mouse. Light, compact, accurate. It’s even great for large hands. Works like a charm and super-fast. The rubber grip on the sides are perfect. Click wheel works well too, doesn’t hurt the tip of my finger if I use it repeatedly. I use it with my Razer Vespula.
