   I am using 2 Streamdecks to trigger QLab on a main and backup Macs. These are small enough to have on the desk in from of the audio console, and have the ability to assign buttons to do basic functions rather easily with the companion software. Ive set them up to do “Go” “Panic” and cue up and down… Im sure there is a way to make them into hotkeys, but I haven’t figured out how to do it. The buttons can be whatever image you want on them…but be warned, it will take some time to figure out how to make the sizing correct. I had to play around with it for quite some time to get the images I downloaded of arrows and stop signs to fit properly on the keys. but its a beautiful thing when its done!!! totally worth the upgrade from the Korg nanopad I was using before.

   This thing is phenomenal. So many options for using these buttons. I use this for hotkeys for day trading stocks. You can create folders on each key so even though I have a 15 key Stream Deck, creating folders gives me the ability to utilize much more than that. The application to program each key so far has been pretty easy to use.

   Here’s a tip: if for some reason the Stream Deck isn’t working in the program you are using it with, quit the Stream Deck application and right click on the shortcut and run it as an administrator. I have to do that for it to work in one of my trading programs.

   It’s a great device. Helps me switch through products very quickly, and very much helps with snippets and macros. Even though it’s the older product the angle is just fine and the USB cable has no issue.

   El software para usarlo lo bajan directo de la página de la marca y tiene varios plugins para empezar a usarlo sin problema, ni necesitas conocimientos de programación ni nada por el estilo ya que se te explics paso a paso como sacar los datos que requiere para la conexión con las plataformas.

   Se puede usar tanto con streamlabs como con obs studio

   So, I am one of the rare “non-gamer” users of this, and I really like it. It is highly flexible, and you can create buttons for any one or many actions you can start from the keyboard. For the “hackers” out there, it is a great little tool.

   That said, as my title implies, this tool is just screaming for a shared community. I would love it if there were pre-made, editable templates for PowerPoint, Final Cut, Premiere, etc. Yes, you can create your own, figure out what you need, and the hit keys, and then spend time creating an icon for each. But how much better it would be if there was a real community sharing these. Before you comment, yes, they point you at Redit. Redit does not do this platform justice. There are few shared templates, and it is rare for something outside broadcast gaming. If they got this together, it would double the value of the product. As it stands, every once and a while I will find myself thinking “hey, I’m in this app a lot, I wonder if it is worth the time to create a template for it.” Often, the answer is no.

   Although I am not a content creator on social media, I found this product to be awesome at speeding up my access to several Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft programs which I use. It provides fast, one-click access to launch programs and to many of the keyboard shortcuts which speeds up workflow. There is a slight learning curve required to set up the shortcuts, but once mastered, it proves to be a big improvement over searching for and using multiple keystrokes to utilize a function. Great addition to my desktop workspace.

    This stream deck has been a life saver. I use it to send notices to my stream chat, I can stop and start recording videos at the touch of a button, I can set it to where I have a sub/followers chat, play ads, etc.

    The Elgato stream deck was very easy to set up, easy to use, and compatible with Twitch, YouTube, OBS, and Streamlabs. I love it. Highly recommend for all levels of streamers.
