   This is an extremely light mouse which is pretty nice. The color and design is beautiful, the material you can feel it is very high quality. It has a high dpi setting that’s good for gaming. The box includes rubber grips for sweaty hands like mine lol. You can change the rgb with an app and pick the exact colors you want to display. What looked a bit cheap was the cord that’s connected to the mouse, it’s like a very delicate fabric that looks like it will break if not cared for well unlike a skytech mouse I also own.

   This is a very nice mouse. But why doesn’t it come with at least one set of replacement grips? Since grips don’t last all that long, we won’t be able to replace them conveniently when they wear out. This seems a bit short-sighted on the company’s part, because there are replacement grips easily available aftermarket for most other popular brands of mice. However: I found a company that makes grips for the HyperX. It is called AMPX Agency, and the product name is “Haste Antgrip”. But really? I have to order replacement grips from a company in Slovenia? (Not that there’s anything wrong with Slovenia, except the cost of shipping and the waiting time when ordering from there).

   Solid mouse, I picked this thing out because I wanted something new and I used the mouse picker on rocket jump ninja’s website. The mouse has been good for my claw grip for the few weeks I’ve had it. The onboard dpi button makes it easy since you just have to remember the 4 stages which you can change in the software and their corresponding color which changes on the scroll wheel. It’s slightly lighter than the g pro super light but has a back that’s shorter so it feels considerably smaller. Uses USB-C and the battery life has been great. Most reviews I’ve seen seem to call this good for the price, but I think If the shape works for you it’s just great In general (and for a good price too)

They are both great but if on Linux, like me, the Hyper X is a much better value as I can’t install the software to change the colors from rainbow anyway.     First of all, I bought this mouse on an absolute whim. It technically should never have happened. It was on sale for like $37 and I just pulled the trigger because, I mean, it’s $37 and I had never tried this shape before. I mained the G Pro X Superlight for two years, switched to the DeathAdder V3 Pro with the 4K dongle when it released, and have tried numerous mice in between— to include the Xlite V2, the XM2we, and the Viper V2 Pro. I love this mouse. I spent a long time chasing the lowest latency, the highest polling rates— and I perform better with this mouse than with all the “pro” tier mice I own, which is frankly embarrassing for me. I don’t feel any latency— it feels faster in response than any mouse I have used and I KNOW that can’t be right— but that’s how it feels. The shape is absolutely perfect for my hand and I feel extremely confident using it. And they include all this stuff…I mean, I didn’t need to buy grips or extra feet because they were already in the box. The worst part is that I don’t know if HyperX will ever update this mouse with “better” tech, although I honestly struggle to think of what I would ask for. Maybe 2K polling support? Maybe slightly lighter clicks? I honestly have no idea. I just hope they don’t stop making it.

    I was so excited when this arrived, once i opened it, the mouse seemed a little bigger than i thought. but, once i finally got it out and held it, IT WAS AMAZING!!! it’s super light, and as someone who claw-grips their mouse, the size and shape was perfect 🙂 I also love the customizable RGB by downloading the application.     Just awesome! For 50 bucks I found this to be just a great price and deal for a light weight gaming mouse and everyday usage. Fits my hand perfect. So what does that mean? Kind of a subjective thing I know… Well here are my requirments: 1. I am a male with a pretty big hand. At least and X-Large glove size. I didn’t want a huge mouse that engulfed my entire hand because I like to be able to have some room. So lean toward a smaller mouse and the HyperX Pulsefire Haste fits perfect. 2. I don’t need all the fancy LED stuff or settings. I wanted light weight quality gaming mouse. So too pay more those features didn’t make sense. Finally, I did purchase a bungee on go-keyboard.com the Razor V3 and I have to say that this mouse works perfect with it too… Oh, almost forgot the stick-on rubber grips are a bonus! Easy to put on and work great too… Hope my humble input helps…

    There’s no mouse to rival the Haste at this price point. While many would consider this a budget mouse, it doesn’t perform like one or feel like one. TTC switches are loud and clicky (very satisfying sound), scroll wheel is silent, there’s no rattling when shaken, no creaking when gripped firmly, and the stock cable was surprisingly good. Not XM1r good, but close. You also get an extra set of skates, which glide very well and aren’t thin like some other stock skates. Set of grips come in the box, too. Very nice looking and provide all the grip you want. Thumbs up for that. Don’t be discouraged by the 3335 sensor. It performs good and we’re at a point that sensors don’t matter as much as comfort. My hand size is 18cm x 9.5cm and the Haste fits my hand well with a relaxed palm/fingertip grip. If you claw grip, I’d maybe look at something else. Side buttons could have been a bit bigger, protruded a bit more, and I don’t like that HyperX chose to use a glossy plastic instead of the great feeling matte plastic the shell has (I’m nitpicking at this point, trying hard to find something not to like about this mouse). Is it the best mouse? No, but if you’re ceiling is $50-60, get this mouse… period. There’s nothing at this price point that is better. It’s light (59g, 61g on my scale), performs well, comes with extras, and has unexpectedly good build quality for a mouse at this price point. The only other mouse that gives you this much value to price ratio would be the Viper Mini.

    ***EDITED 1 YEAR LATER*** Hello! I’m back after exactly a year. I’ve been having an issue with this mouse almost immediately after getting it. It’s not a big issue, but it’s annoying and the reason I’m going to try something else. Randomly the mouse will change my DPI down to like 200 from 800. I only have 800 dpi saved to the mouse. This has never happened while gaming or with apps opened. It’s just really random. Moving the mouse will not make it go back to 800 dpi, so it’s not some standby mode, and I’m not accidentally pressing anything bc I don’t have a button to change the dpi mapped to the mouse. Also, sometimes it won’t happen for weeks it seems. I’ve checked all the settings. The only way to fix it is to open up the HyperX app and just click on “mouse”. Then it goes back to 800 dpi. I’ve sent three tickets about it and heard nothing back. Onto the next! ——————— This review is coming from someone who first started with a G502 wired years ago and then switched to the wireless version. I was using the G502 for around six years. This HyperX mouse is so fantastic, especially for the price. -The sensor, Pixart’s Paw 3335 derives from the PMW 3389. The 3335 is a low power version of the 3389. The sensor is excellent, so don’t let any uninformed reviewers steer you wrong. I haven’t seen or felt any difference in FPS games other than me actually being quicker, because the mouse is 1/3 of the weight I’m used to. -The TTC Gold 80m switches are great. -The wireless receiver is also preferred over the one I had with Logitech simply because it’s got some grip on the bottom and stays where I want it lol. -The mouse is extremely comfortable. I go between a palm and claw grip and have smaller, thinner fingers/hands. I find it immensely more comfortable than the G502, but I know that’s subjective. I was afraid I’d miss the thumb rest from the G502, but honestly, I haven’t missed it at all. This mouse just overall feels WAY better. There’s a slightly textured matte finish which feels SUPERB and looks amazing.I also much prefer the scroll wheel. It’s a little more low-profile and feels way more natural to use. -I’m extremely impressed that it came with skates already on the mouse and an extra blue pair. It also came with some REALLY nice grip stickers that I’m loving. I’ve only put on the grips for the left and right mouse buttons so far, as you can see in my pics, but it also comes with grips for the side of the mouse I’ll be sticking on later. -I was a little nervous at first that the HyperX software is through the Microsoft store, but it’s extremely straight-forward with depth like Logitech’s. In fact, I also find it way easier to use and navigate through. It just makes sense and has every option you need. There’s also the low-power warning that you can set to any percentage of battery left which is really nice. Long story short, I’m so freaking impressed and in love with this mouse. If anything changes, I’ll be back to edit this review.

    It’s very nice to handle while doing normal tasks and playing video games. It has an extremely high battery life. Not much RGB light which is awesome. Comes with a cord to plug in the dongle to minimize interference. But in the few weeks that I’ve had it, this might be a deal breaker, it has jolted to the left or the right without my input doing that 4 times which is scary when it does that because it’s completely random. whether mine is faulty or not it has done that so be wary.

    Bought this mouse to replace my wife’s crappy wireless mouse that I had purchased that she wanted. For the price it was one of the most expensive ones I’ve ever paid for and more than exceeded expectations. Wife loves it and to my amazement it still hasn’t had to see the charge cable yet but then again with full time jobs outside the home it only sees about 20 hours of use a week and maybe all that on weekends.

    As fare as comfort I’ve got to say it fits my hand nicely and most mice I don’t care for cause I feel like I’m pushing a pop bottle cap around in comparison. But then I did get it for the wife and she loves it.
    It’s super light and responsive and you can adjust the DPI on the fly by making presets and with a click of the button on the mouse switch between them.

    With that said it functions as expected and exceeds at the end of the day I will most likely change out my wired razor for this mouse in the near future

    Update: I have now owned this mouse for 10 months and it is the best mouse I have ever owned. Would happily purchase again! /end I was using a Logitech G502 HERO, which is a very heavy mouse, but I wanted something more light weight because I have pain in my arms and hands due to spinal problems (have had multiple surgeries). This mouse ended up working perfectly, as I can now play games without having tons of pain shooting down my arm. The grips that come with the mouse work great, so that I don’t have to squeeze the mouse hard to get a good grip. I absolutely love this lightweight mouse, it really does make a huge difference, and I wouldn’t hesitate to order it again! Update: After 5 months this mouse still works perfectly. Very durable for such a lightweight product! It’s now nearly impossible for me to go back to a heavy mouse, the difference is literally night and day. I would recommend this mouse to anyone who has pain in their arms and/or hands. 5 stars!
