First impression. The mechanical keyboard feel great to type on. The light color is easy to see in the dark.
I am really impressed for this price, you get mac/win keys, type-c detachable cable, and height adjustable back. Also, the function keys can be switched to media key as default. So awesome.

I really like what this keyboard is at its base the brown switches in this keyboard leave a lot to be desired, but I knew that I was going to replace the switches. I put box navy switches in and now this is my favorite keyboard I own and maybe my least expensive. I recommend replacing the keychron browns even if you like brown switches these are just really mushy in my opinion.

This is my second keychron – my other is a k2 which is equally impressive. I got this keyboard to use at home with the mac as I prefer the layout to the k2 and do not need a battery nor bluetooth as it needs to be wired through a kvm. The USB-C with a USB adapter is an unexpected bonus.
If you have a mac beware USB gaming keyboards – e.g. steelseries gv and logitech g keyboards – I have both and they ‘jitter’ – e.g. repeating middle keys such as space, h, n, f. This keyboard, as well as the k2, do not have this issue, which is just great.
Also, for a mechanical keyboard, the feel is good and it is quiet. No complaints.

Fantastic looking keyboard with a pretty great feel. A bit hollow and pingy sounding but this can be fixed with easy mods.

Not a fan of this keyboard, i was looking for a beige keyboard but this particular shade does not look nice in person in my opinion

I’ve had this for a while before writing the review and the keyboard is excellent. When I do eventually need another one or simply want to change, I will stick to Keychron. I will also likely get their mouse to replace my Logitech to try that out.

Firmware works for Mac. Good mechanical “brown” type switches, compares well to real mx switches. Personally, I like the retro color. With some of the Mac M1 bluetooth device connectivity issues, very glad this was a corded option, no missing keystrokes.

Had to buy this directly from the factory but that’s ok! This and its brother off another color are my go-to work keyboards. They feel and sound great! I especially love the retro keyboard because the very top right but is for locking your computer with a single stroke. Been operating both keyboards (they take turns) for almost a year now and no problems.

This keyboard has a nice structure, the keys feel really good and they seem quite resistant. For someone who is not interested in fancy RGB-like keyboards and wants a mechanical keyboard for coding I would definitely recommend this one.

This board is easy to take apart for applying whatever dampening customizations to it. It has hotswap switch sockets (with 5-pin PCB cutouts) so you can use any MX switches on these. I was thinking the feature this lacked (but understandable for the price) was keymap customization, but there actually is an unofficial QMK/VIA version for this board. After flashing that, this keyboard really doesn’t lack anything in terms of functionality. Great purchase!

Great keyboard for the money. Kind of wish I spent the extra money for the wireless version but it’s still a really good bang for the buck.
