   Absolutely excellent feel and quality. Can type extremely quickly on this keyboard with the red switches. 4* only because the black keys on a black background make it impossible to see properly. But very attractive with the backlight and so easy to use. I prefer the non-backlit keyboard that has a key to quickly lock the screen.
   

4. WATCH THIS before you BUY!! Keychron C2 Full Size 104 Keys Wired Mechanical keyboard Verified Buyer – 13 October 2024

   Overall, my initial impression of the C2 is that it’s a high quality keyboard for the price. I’ve been shopping keyboards for a while now and keep coming back to Keychron because of their design, variety of offerings, and large customer base. Being new to mechanical keyboards, the extra key travel and louder typing sound will take some time for me to get used to. Likes: – Quality build with solid construction – Stabilizers seem to work well, no noticeable wobble on the larger keys; I’m a mechanical keyboard newbie, so your experience may vary. – Backlit, with multiple effects, dimmer, and effects speed control – USB C to A adapter included – Packaging, gives a premium feel – Customization options (white or RGB LED, hot swap or soldered, wide range of keycaps and switches to choose from). I went with the white LED, brown switch, non-hot swap version. – Keyboard lights turn off when computer goes to sleep (most of the time). Worth Noting: – There are a few undocumented features. I found out about LED brightness (fn+F5/F6) and effects speed controls (fn + -/= left of Delete) via YouTube reviews, there are probably others. – Keyboard is louder and keystroke travel is longer than I expected; keep in mind this is my first mechanical keyboard. – My typing accuracy took a hit when switching from a standard low profile $20 Dell keyboard; probably just takes some getting used to. – Some of the keycap label decisions depart from the norm. * Directional, Home, End, PgUp, PgDn, Insert, & Delete labels are missing from numpad which makes for a cleaner look. * Backspace, Enter, and Return keycap labels are very similar (not a fan) Dislikes: – The black keycap labels are somewhat blurry and difficult to read in most lighting situations with the backlight off; to their credit, Keychron has explained this thoroughly on their site. – LED is too bright for me on lowest setting which seems to be around 50% or so; with 5 levels, a better choice would have been 20, 40, 60, 80, & 100%. Perhaps this is something Keychron could address with a firmware update someday . . . hint, hint! – Dedicated Cortona button (yuck) Bugs: – The keyboard I received occasionally remains partially lit when computer goes to sleep.

   Purchased this keyboard in ‘like new condition’, but it arrived very dirty and clearly used. I was able to tear it down, remove key caps and clean it so considering the price I’m not too unhappy, but I did notify seller (Keycron) there is obviously a disconnect in actual condition and listing condition. Additionally, it arrived by itself, and was missing all additional pieces (Windows key caps, USB cord, etc.) to which customer service was very responsive and sent me all missing pieces. Saw some reviews stating their customer service was poor, however in my experience they always get back to you very quickly and gave no pushback in providing me the missing items once I confirmed my order with them. In the end, keyboard looks great, no damage, works well and I was made whole.

   Ive owned several “gaming” keyboards over the years, from ones with LCD screens built in, to the loudest blue switches, to the rbg oozing out of the sides.
   By a mile, this keyboard is perfect for me. The red switches are just the right volume and tactile feel for me. The lighting is perfect, the included key puller was used day one to replace a few keycaps.
   I am extremely happy with the keyboard in every aspect. I highly recommend it if you want a quality keyboard. The backlight can be dimmed and brightened as needed, I typically have it on dim in the evening and bright during daylight. I am running on a KVM switch that my Razer started having feedback issues with immediately. For the longest time I left the backlight off. I am glad that I finally broke down and tried something new that was more geared for function than looks. I will never look back!

   I just grew really tired of the Magic keyboards that Apple makes, they are awful!

   I have a nice brown switch kb for my gaming pc and sought out one for my office computer which happened to be a mac mini.

   I took a gamble with this Keychron since its so affordable but i am very pleased with the results!
   It has very high quality build and the key presses are so good! The weight is really good as well, it be moving as you furiously type your spicy fanfics!

   It connects via USB-C and comes with a braided USB-A to USB-C cable which was nice however for my M4 Mac Mini I had to use a USB-C to USB-C cable. No biggie, it still worked fine. This keyboard as a mode switch to switch between a Mac keyboard to a PC keyboard and comes with the appropriate replacement key caps btw, very nice touch!

   Overall I’m very happy with this product!

   I have the nicer, hot-swappable RGB K10 model for home, and I wanted something similar for work but without all the bells and whistles. The Gateron Pro Brown switches are smooth and solid without being too loud. Keycaps have are textured but not rough (K10 keycaps are super smooth; I almost prefer this). The white backlight is nice, for dimmer work areas without adding RGB cost, and I never actually move my keyboard around, so unless you actually intend the keyboard to be mobile, the C series (which is wired only; USB-C) is perfectly fine and saves you some $$. Overall, while there are plenty of good mechanical keyboards, including some nicer Keychrons, I’m not sure there’s a better choice for a basic, high-quality fullsize.
