Sturdy build. Satisfying click sound reminisce of keyboards of the early 90s.
Use it primarily at work. It performs as well a brown switch keyboard should.
(For first time users of a mechanical keyboard, please be advised – hand fatigue is real).
I am a power-user on spreadsheets and thought to try out a well built mechanical keyboard. It definitely delivers. My only gripe was that the USB-C cable was slightly bent out of shape. Not sure how long before it gives up on me and I need to replace it. Hence the 3-star rating. If not, it was a 4-star for sure.

I love this keyboard. Excellent tactile feedback without being really clicky loud, but more tactile than the red switches, which is why I went for brown. It has a great sound and reminds me of typing on keyboards in the 90s and early 00s. The RGB backlighting is a nice touch. I like that this is wired so I don’t have to worry about charging or turning it off. The two adjustable height options are a great addition as well. I definitely love this over the Apple Magic Keyboard. The Keychron C2 is the perfect companion for my 27 inch iMac.

I ordered this Keychron C2 keyboard to replace my Satechi keyboard (which spontaneously started to delete code or text I was typing, some issue to do with the delete key I would assume), and it is such a treat to use. It has a great feel and looks, that makes me want to get into typing for longer.

Although the Keychron does not come with a software and I miss the programmable features but, for the price it is an excellent keyboard. I like the key cap color combinations out of the box. RGB and mechanical full keyboard is an excellent value for money,

Pros: The keyboard feels comfortable and types fast. Really nice. I’m mostly very happy.
Cons:
1. On the numeric key caps, the alternate symbols like !, @, #, etc., are TINY and hard to read. Instead of printing the characters on a key cap in the standard way, one above the other, Keychron has put them side-by-side which reduces their size. Why??? I find myself squinting to find the ^ character.
2. Function keys don’t work on Linux unless you edit a system file (/etc/modprobe.d/hd_apple.conf) to add the line “options hid_apple fnmode=2”. I’m told that the latest Linux kernel fixes this issue.

Already enjoying the keyboard. The brown switches are perfectly suited, not too noisy. And the lighting customisation is really high quality.

I type 90wpm on average and have beeb for 20 years professionally. I have just recently found KeyChron and I own several. This one is perfect for working from home with quiet red switches, yet responsive to fast paced typing. Definitely my favorite so far, I love the black/white keycap offset for dim light. I don’t use it for gaming so I can’t comment on that front, but for business it’s great for working from home or just staying quiet while maintaining mechanical control. The LEDs are neat, I use them from time to time, mostly to see if it’s dark. I especially like the one-key light switch to toggle through the different patterns. That combined with the hardware switch from mac -> windows really makes this a go-to for admins and gamers alike.
P.S. this is my 2nd C2, my teenage daughter has adopted my original 😉
