   I used this keyboard for gaming and I got the pro red switches. now out of the box I only had one problem and it was that the backspace sounded slightly over lubed, other than that the keyboard it self was a perfect budget option for me. the back light option took a sec to get used, I do with that they had an option to have a one color option for each color but its a problem that I can deal with. Overall a great beginner fullsize mech keyboard and had little to no rattle with a great sound.

   Really nice feeling keyboard. Compared to my old generic gaming keyboard it feels much better as it should.

   The switches are mechanical but fairly quiet and a shorter travel. Unlike the traditional gaming switches.

   The key cap looks and feel nice in both shape and texture.

   The only major flaw is the south lighting.
   It is not compatible with shine through keycaps.

   You will not be able to see in the dark. So if you have bad typing coordination good luck.

   Normally I am an RGB freak. I am an ex-gamer, so I have a subdued RGB setup (nothing insane because it is too distracting.) I mainly wanted a keyboard for typing letters and studying. I really wanted clicky switches and my cheaper Redragon keyboard with brown switches simply felt muddy and drove me nuts. I like feedback. I am a touch typist and not hearing or feeling anything was annoying (yes red switches… I am talking to YOU!) So when I got this with brown switches I had bought Kailh light green expecting to trade them out. NOPE. The sound of these is a deep thock that I did not expect. At ALL. It is the most wonderful sound I have ever heard in my life. I am so in love with this keyboard that all I did was change out the keycaps for a prettier ombre style (with a similar shape to keep that VERY satisfying THOCK) and that was it. As is it is perfect. Out of the box. The keys, other than the most satisfying sound I have ever heard, have a nice smooth stroke and are light-ish. I have arthritis, so keys that do not over-fatigue me were fairly important. They feel … like butter. If you can test this at a nearby computer store I would highly advise you doing so. Now, to be fair, this sound may make those around you wonder why you are typing so loudly. This is not a silent keeb. But it is not obnoxious in the least (in my opinion) because the register of the keys is lower pitched than the normal blue switches which to be fair can be a little high pitched and scratchy. I am very seriously thinking of getting the Kailh White Owl switches for a different keyboard because I am so not switching these out. If you are looking for a brown switch keyboard with a deep thock… this is your baby. Seriously. Love this. It also comes in the red switch flavor. For you linear fans. You can google the controls for the RGB if you need more details than VIA. There is no software running it at this time.

   I absolutely love this keyboard! I had no idea how much better my typing experience could be until my husband convinced me to try this keyboard. I love the look of it and the quality of the keyboard is top notch. The Bluetooth connectivity works extremely well. The brightness of the backlight is perfect in my opinion, you can change the color of the lights and if they change colors. I have yet to use this keyboard extensively not plugged in, but what I have seen of it, the battery life is very good.

   This keyboard replaces a Roccat Vulcan 100 AIMO, which was my daily Mac driver for over two years (and it still being used on a 2nd Mac) Bought this because I wanted one with a numeric pad and some feel (though not clicky) keys, so went with the brown switches. This is a great keyboard for someone who likes a ‘thocc’ keystroke sound. I wanted more light from the RGBs (the stock keycaps blocks much of the light, which is good for someone who wants more subtle lighting), so I purchased 3rd party keycaps – please note that Keychron’s LEDs are south (downfacing), so look for keycaps that have lettering on the side (pics attached) – though different than keycaps with lettering on top, I was able to get used to them pretty quickly Highly recommended for good construction and materials, fair price, able to work on both Macs and Windows, and can customize for customer preferences

   Pros: – I love the way this thing looks. It’s stylish and retro without being fully committed to the 80s cream color. – (could be considered a con) There’s no Bluetooth or wireless, which kept the cost down. Because I work in a home office, I don’t need wireless. Plus it keeps the latency down. If you want wireless, I believe they sell that version too with slight visual variation. – The brown switches feel really nice. I’m coming from MX Cherry Blue switches, which were getting a little too clicky for me. – Very satisfying sound. Cons: – This one comes down to personal preference. There’s no tactile bump as you press each key. This errs on the side of being too mushy. The ideal keyboard would be this but maybe swapping the switches out with Ergo Clears. But they do feel soft and it’s easy to type on so this is really just me nitpicking. Notably, you’ll be bottoming out each key instead of pressing only until the actuation point in the middle due to the lack of tactile bump. So these lay somewhere between tactile and linear. HOWEVER, you may love it and this is exactly what you want. These feels nice, and I figure if you’re here looking at this keyboard then you already have figured out that you want either brown or red switches. – The Esc key is really hard to read with the white text on yellow. The accent looks nice but you can’t read that particular button, if you care about that. – There’s no LED software, you have to learn the marcos to change the color schemes and patterns. – The light mostly just shines between the key caps, not through the key caps themselves. In all, I really love this thing and it’s perfect for my setup. Typing is quiet now and it feels pretty good.
