The Keychron C2 is a hot-swappable 104 keys full size white wired mechanical keyboard made for Mac and Windows. Customize per-key typing experience to maximize your productivity on the C2 hot-swappable version without the need to solder.
With a layout optimized for Mac, the C2 has all necessary multimedia and function keys (Num Lock works with Windows only), while compatible with Windows, and comes with a dedicated Siri or Cortana key. Extra keycaps for both Mac and Windows operating systems are included.
Designed with reliability in mind, the C2 comes with USB Type-C wired connection with a braid cable, which ensures a constant power supply, and best to fit home and light gaming. Inclined bottom frame and 2 level adjustable feet makes the C2 more comfortable to type.
The C2 gives the freedom to customize per-key typing experience without soldering. The pre-installed Gateron Brown switch providing unrivaled tactile responsiveness on the linear Brown switch with a durable 50 million keystroke lifespan. *The C2’s hot-swappable socket switch is compatible with almost all the MX style 3pin and 5pin mechanical switches on the market (including Gateron, Cherry, Kailh, etc.). Excelente calidad de los materiales, el ensamble se siente muy firme, a pesar de que esta versión tiene sólo iluminación blanca, luce excelente. Para los caracteres en español lo que hice, en windows 11, fue Configuración/Hora e idioma/Región e idioma/Selecciono el idioma y le doy clic en Opciones de idioma/ y en teclados agrego Estados Unidos Internacional: así al presionar la tecla alt+cualquier vocal le agrega el acento.

This is a good, solid mechanical keyboard. The white lighting is dimmable, which is nice, gives it a calm feel. Any settings are stored in the keyboard itself, which is awesome if you are a Linux user or use a KVM (I use Linux and MS, so having a keyboard that plays nice with both is essential) or if you’re just not a fan of bloatware. I guess it also doesn’t have the bells and whistles of their higher-end keyboards, some cosmetic and some more functional (I don’t particularly care about RGB, but USB passthrough would be nice, and it doesn’t support VIA). Replaceable switches are a huge plus, by the time I finally trashed my Razer with soldered switches three or four keys weren’t working.

Overall, though, it feels great to type on, I got the brown switches and they have just enough pop. Well worth the price, I thought I would be getting this one and replacing it with something fancier when I have the cash but I might just keep this, I’m very happy with it.

El teclado simplemente es perfecto, las teclas muy cómodas, la calidad de la fabricación es muy buena, en cuanto a la robustez se nota un teclado muy firme pienso que es un muy buena inversión. En mi caso lo solicite con Gateron Blue. Deferentes opciones para iluminación y herramientas para el cambio o mantenimiento de los interruptores. Para mejorar solo creo que el tiempo de conector hacia el teclado creo que se siente un poco débil y temo que sea su talón de Aquiles.

Love it. heavy, sturdy, everything you could want in a gaming keyboard. Can be rather loud, going to add dampeners. I love this keyboard enough to take it apart and do anything it takes to fix the loudness, or I will buy my wife earbuds.

F6 key was not lighting up, and Keychron support was not able to walk me through a fix. First they wanted me to factory reset, then they sent me a link to download firmware, only there was no firmware for this keyboard, and had I selected the wrong one I might have bricked the keyboard. After they apologized for this, I asked if they could just send a replacement key cap (you know, a major feature of this keyboard), they said they could but it would require soldering to fix, which I would have to do myself or go to a repair shop. I asked them to replace and they refused. Luckily I was still in the return window with go-keyboard.com and was able to get my money back. It’s a shame, seems like a pretty cool keyboard, but with problems out of the gate and lacking support, I won’t be buying from them again. ALSO, the command key is not as wide as the standard Apple keyboards and I was having trouble getting used to that.. I was using this for work and need something fully functional over just looking cool, so that was another red flag for me.

Another well-built, solid feeling keyboard from Keychron. It’s hotswappable, has fantastic switches (Gateron G Pro Reds feel delightful), and a nice, white backlight that isn’t too distracting (and is configurable!).

This is my daily driver office keyboard and so far, it’s been great. I was actually tempted to throw on my own switches, but these G Pro Reds are stellar linear switches. Not too loud, with a solid, muted feel, as if I were typing on a ceramic board. Very “premium” feeling. YMMV, of course. I like the keycaps too – I’m a minimalist at heart, so the monochrome pallete paired with a highly legible (shine through) font make them winners.

All in all, an excellent value, and I expect it to last for years.

Was looking for a keyboard for my first PC build. Tried the Razer with green switches thinking I wanted clicky, and they weren’t for me. Was told about Keychron and went for the C2 with browns. The keyboard is great! It has that vibe I remember from growing up, and a bit more. The board came with five switches that had been installed with bent pins. I was able to straighten them out myself because after my research I knew about how that’s possible, so it wasn’t much fuss. My only other concern is the USB connection. I feel like that’s a potential failure point. I would have preferred a permanently installed cable. If I ever feel like building a keyboard, I’ll go for the metal one. I think that would be pretty cool. Minus one star for my having to troubleshoot and repair the thing myself when I got it.

I bought this keyboard with the Gateron Brown switches for work, as I was looking for an inexpensive mechanical keyboard for my office, Hence I cannot rate it for gaming. At first glance the box looked very good, not what I expected for this price, the keyboard was protected inside and was delivered in mint condition. No parts were broken/missing. The keyboard is quite sturdy on my desk without a pad or anything underneath and doesn’t move while typing, but I assume it could have different results for gaming. The build is very good for the price in my opinion. After a couple of days using it for work, I can say this keyboard is almost perfect and is exactly what I was looking for. Very pleasent to type, although I would prefer the Red switches (see section 3 below). I work in an open-space environment, and my co-workers weren’t bothered at all by the sound of the Brown switches (I asked). Here is what I liked less – 1. Keycaps feel a bit too plastic, no coating or something of the sort, However, it didn’t really bother me or made it less pleasent to type. Just something I noticed comparing to my Razer keycaps. 2. They keycaps feel a little bit wobbly when playing with them individually with your fingers, compared to other mechanical keyboards. But I must say – I didn’t feel any difficulties while typing regarding this. 3. I bought the Gateron Brown switches because I wanted to try something new, but I would trade for the Red switches since I don’t like the tactile feel and prefer the linear (Red) switches. But that’s an individual preference, If you have the same dilemma – buy the reds. 4. Although the keyboard has the white backlight, I found the black keycaps to be much less illuminated compared to the white caps, and in a well lighted room you can definitely see the difference. Considering to get a different set of keycaps due to this and the plastic feel thing. 5. When I tried using the keyboard for the first time after taking it out of the box, the first thing that came to my mind was ‘I’m gonna need a wristpad.’ Be prepared and buy one as well. I got the HyperX wrist pad and it feels just a little too high for the keyboard, but so far it didn’t bother me at all. My Razer Blackwidow wrist pad was perfect for it, but I use it for my Razer keyboard. (: In conclusion – 10/10 value for money. Inexpensive well built full sized mechanical keyboard with hot swappable key switches. If that’s what you’re looking for – look no further. I’m very happy with this purchase, and would definitely check Keychron again if I ever need another office keyboard. Would have given it 5/5 stars if a wristpad (even a simple one) and a better set of keycaps were included.

If you are looking for a “clicky” tactile keyboard for Mac that is high quality, this is the one. I’ve had it for 2 years and it’s just as good as day 1. I spent days researching the best Mac keyboards and all of them seemed to have some negative reviews or downside. Ultimately, I’m glad I decided to go with this keyboard as it’s comfortable to use on a daily basis for work. I paired it with the hyperx gel wrist rest and it is the perfect size.
