I bought this keyboard yesterday and got it today so this review is based on one days use. My son who is very into gaming asked for this keyboard I had never heard of so I said sure the reviews looks good let’s get it. Well this Keychron keyboard was so impressive I ended up buying myself one later that night. Anyways, what made me fall in love with this keyboard was the beautiful feeling of a quality build. Everything from the keys to the leg stands feels solid and built to last. Another great aspect is the nostalgic feeling of the key strokes and the sound of each press! It took me back to my childhood when I was typing one key at time in school. Uhhh, wow never had flashback quite that powerful especially from a keyboard! I’m in complete shock! Oh yea my boy loves it too! Perfect for his gaming style and he can customize it too!

My first mechanical keyboard. It is ok but not the best feeling keyboard I ever used. RGB shines through on the top edge showing the cheapness of keys which do feel cheap. It is better than the ols dell keypad I had been using after my old shark key board died.

So, I am using this keyboard for nearly 2 months now and I have few things to point out. 1. If you are getting a blue switch then you should be aware that it makes a lot of noise. This is what I like but the feedback on the keys is good. 2. This keyboard comes with a set of keys for both Mac and for Windows and it is super simple to change them with the key remover. 3. I use Windows and Mac both, connecting back and forth between these systems was a hassle initially but later when I charged the keyboard overnight it was fine. Make sure you fully charge this keyboard before you attempt to switch between systems. 4. They key combination is excellent, it has grey keys and with the RGB it looks even better. RGB has 5-6 pre-set combinations which is good. It is not programmable which I think is fine because programmable RGB will have number of combinations which I think is too much for a keyboard. 5. I used it wired for a while and it does the job pretty well. I would still prefer wireless. 6. The package is standard and fancy. Comes with a manual, key remover, windows keys, and USB-C wire. Conclusion – I would definitely recommend this keyboard for Mac and Windows. It has just the right amount of keys which are required. The RGB is vibrant and has some good combinations.

I love this keyboard. The colors are awesome and it makes working from home so much more comfortable with this and a laptop mount. I got gateron brown switches and the sound the keys make when typing are very satisfying. Not too loud and obnoxious. It was super easy to pair with my laptop top too. I plan on switching the keycaps to add more personality but all in all, I’m very happy with this purchase.

Brown switches feel great. I tried red and it was just too easy to press. Brown is still light but not so light that I accidentally press keys. I appreciate that the keyboard as well as the print on the keys light up, which is nice when you want to work at night/in low light conditions. Day 1, no troubles with bluetooth so far.

Great keyboard overall. It’s my first time using a mechanical keyboard for everyday use, and the red switches are just the right amount of clickiness without being too loud. The only issue I have is it came with two option keys on the left side, and no extra command key for my Mac (as shown in picture). I decided to just replace the extra one with alt, but it was one thing that bothered me about this product.

It is not working after 6 months, when I type a/s/d/f/g/h/j/k/l, it will keep print out the word ASDFGHJKL, it can’t be resolved after factory reset. It is a good keyboard but easy to damage and not easy to fix

Siempre tuve teclados de membrana, pero quise probar mecanicos investigue sobre muchos, y encontre este a buen precio por lo cual me decidi pedirlo, ya tengo casi 2 anos con el y no he tenido ningun problema.

La funcion para tener 3 dispositivos inalambricos y aparte el modo alambrico son perfectas, yo tengo 2 computadoras y un switch para cambiar de monitor, y utilizo los atajos para cambiar el teclado al dispositivo que quiero usar y la verdad es muy rapido.

Las teclas compre las menos ruidosas pero aun suenan muy bien , queria que se esucharan pero no tanto y van perfectas, y tiene muchas configuraciones de colores, aunque yo prefiero usar uno fijo.

This thing is amazing. Firstly, the keys feel fantastic; they have a wonderful typing action and are not exceedingly loud (I have the brown switch version). Next, it works effortlessly on both Windows and macOS, with a fantastic switch that flips the function of the modifier keys so you can more easily access Command/ALT shortcuts based on what system you’re using. It charges very quickly via the included USB-C to USB-A cable, and this also allows it to work wired if need be – a definite plus. It can pair with up to 3 Bluetooth devices, which is perfect because I have two computers I use this with, and I have zero issues with the Bluetooth function on this keyboard. They also include Windows-based keycaps if you need to change them out, plus a small key removal tool for switching out keycaps and cleaning. It’s very portable which is perfect because I don’t have a lot of space on my desk; this freed up a ton of space for me to use my mouse or trackpad. There’s currently no app to customize the color scheme, but there are a number of presets – I was able to find a couple I liked, and I can also disable the lights altogether (except caps lock ofc) to save battery life if need be. All in all, a fantastic wireless mechanical keyboard for the price.

Positive 1. The brown switch sounds amazing. It kind of sounds like Cherry red. You don’t really feel the brown resistance unless you are typing it very slowly and softly. And I like it that way. 2. I’m glad I forked over extra $10 for the RGB. I honestly thought I wouldn’t care for extra colors, but I giggle every time I look down because it’s so pretty to look at. 3. The new slanted base really helps mitigate the excess height issue. I have the rear feet at the higest position setting and it feels pretty comfortable to me. I honestly don’t notice the height, but your mileage may vary. The keyboard came with soft styrofoam protector, so I’m actually just using that as a cheap wrist pad. 4. The product packaging is very nice. You can tell that this is created by people who really care about industrial design and product experience. Even the new braided cable adds touch of class. 5. keys have nice matte coated surface that feels nice to touch and provides good traction. Almost like Thinkpad surface, but more smooth. 6. I haven’t had issues with bluetooth connection. it switches pretty quickly. Negative I have one colossal negative, and it’s almost a deal breaker. I was hoping to use this keyboard to operate two computers through bluetooth connection, but it turns out, Keychron keyboards weren’t designed for that. There is a switch for Bluetooth mode and cable mode. When it’s set to BT mode, it does not charge even if USB cable is connected. You need to switch to the cable mode. While charging, I can only operate the computer that it’s physically connected to. If I want to operate the 2nd computer via BT, I need to change from BT to cable mode, at which point, the keyboard stops charging. Ideally, even in BT mode, I wish the keyboard would charge. I emailed their support and they confirmed that this is by design, but they may consider change in future. I doubt this is something they can change via firmware update so most likely I’m out of luck. So I’m back to using two keyboards

First of all, I never really been a mechanical keyboard type of person. I normally shove those offerings to the side when looking at keyboards. Until I seen the shift in popularity to mechanical keyboards, I then… decided to give it a try. Throughout my research, the Keychron keyboards seemed as those “under the radar/best mechanical keyboards.” I wanted something without the keypad, since I don’t really interact with it. Seen a few reviews of the K2 Keychron. Decided to go ahead and purchase it to see how it fits along side the iPad. So far, so good… I enjoy the typing experience. Have had it for about 5 to 6 months… no issues thus far. I like the various RGB settings. And it’s a perfect fit for the iPad.

This Bluetooth mechanical keyboard works very well with my Mac Pro. I end up using the USB hardwire connection, but it works equally well cordless using Bluetooth. The mechanical key switches and having a longer key travel feels great…reminds me of the original IBM PC keyboard, but this one is better!
