Perfect super-compact keyboard for sysadmin/programmer/coding/typing novels. Good for gaming as well. Brown keycaps strike a good balance between tactile feel and quietness, if you are looking to not disturb a significant other, family or coworkers. I tried a cheap Havit briefly and returned it immediately.
The K4 is great, with a few modifications. Obviously Autohotkey is a necessity for someone that needs functionality of the missing keys or wants to modify F-keys etc, but physical mods helped me as well. I bought white keycaps to make the arrow keys, delete and F3 stand out visually. The backlight is bright enough to illuminate them well, and it helps with orienting. Since this keyboard is so compact and has a full numberpad, the muscle memory of finding specific keys via the “space” in between different sections is completely eliminated and you have to start over. Having the keycaps stand out especially when the room is dim makes the transition much easier. I wish Keychron would do partial sets of keycaps as well, at least arrows, delete, and a few ‘symbol’ ones, so the pitch and height of the key surface of custom caps would be perfect.

After looking for more than a year for a replacement for my Corsair K70, I decided to settle on the Keychain K4. My main requirements were that it had to take up less room on my desk, have media keys, and have some sort of wireless functionality.
I am happy to report that this keyboard feels substantially better than the K70 before it. The keys and gateron red switches feel crisp and tight, and the white backlight is a perfect accent that is neither blinding nor too dim.
My dislikes are that flashing new firmware to get the media keys to work took a bit longer than I would have liked, and it is a rather tall keyboard. May look for a wrist rest for prolonged typing. Gaming is only acceptable while wired, as the bluetooth latency isn’t quite good enough to stay competitive.
Overall I like this keyboard and suggest it to anyone looking for a solid non-gaming focus mechanical keyboard!

I used the Logitech G610 Cherry MX brown keyboard for 6 years before purchasing this (F key started dying). I did a lot of research before buying a new keyboard to ensure I would like the next purchase and came to this one. I do not regret a single thing. The switches (Got Gateron Browns in this one) are amazing and match the cherry browns. It is everything I loved from the Logitech G610 in a smaller footprint. The Bluetooth works great for media browsing but is not entirely built for wireless gaming. I would say the cable it came with is a little short so prepare to either buy an entirely new cable or an extension cable. This is a great overall keyboard and you would not be disappointed with purchasing it.
P.S: I play video games like valorant, escape from tarkov, and league and this keyboard is great for all of them.

This is my first mechanical keyboard, I got it with blue switches. The switches are VERY clicky and tactile, it can be heard from other rooms in the house whenever I’m typing, and I wonder if the brown switches would have been the better option. Also, I believe the switches might need some lubrication because sometimes I can hear the springs of some keys.
The backlight is great and has a lot of lighting options. Bluetooth works fine and battery life (without using the backlight) is solid. The keyboard goes to sleep quickly but it is possible to disable this option.
I have relatively big hands and do find it to be a little bit tall, specially when using it for long periods of time, it’s not very ergonomic even with the standing feet.
Overall it’s a great product and I’m very happy with it being my first mechanical keyboard.
