FN1 legend was worn out right out of the box. That’s the bad side of it. Aside from that, overall it’s a good keyboard. Since it’s my first linear switch keyboard, I don’t know if the keys comes pre lubed or it is just the switch itself, but I liked its sound and feel very much. I use it daily for writing. Metal case feels robust and premium. I’d like to have that promised software released soon. Review update after 2 years of use: Bluetooth connection is instable, it causes repeating key strokes and delays. If you work on something critical you don’t want to use wireless mode. To those who considers buying this model for its wireless feature, don’t buy it. With usb connection, everything ok.

Love the quality, the Bluetooth works amazing. I’ve been using it to play Apex and COD warzone via Bluetooth and it works just as good as with a cable. Connects to my iPad as well. Switches are super smooth too and sound great.

I bought it thinking it was the k6 pro, I got the open box one from their original account, so got it for cheap, but if you get a new one recommend the pro version that you can bind anything for the keys, in this version you can’t, but the Bluetooth is great no lag in fps, the keystroke is very quiet the brown pro. for sure ill bring that keyboard to the office and buy the pro for my house setup 😀

I loved everything about the keyboard except the keycaps, however that’s a personal preference thing. Keyboard is built solid, except the bottom which is plastic which doesn’t bother me that much. Since the keyboard is hot swappable, and if you’re new to mechanical keyboards, you don’t have to buy different keyboards just to try different switches. RGB is very nice, usually only use it when I can’t see the keys, but I also turn it off when feeling like it. I’ve seen better RGB but the lighting on this keyboard isn’t overpowering. Connectivity is amazing as well, sometimes there are hiccups but it’s something I can look over easily. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS KEYBOARD IF NEW TO MECHANICAL KEYBOARDS, AND ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT SWITCH TO GET.

It has really good RGB lightings that will suit everyone’s taste.

The only thing with stock keycaps is you can’t barely see the rgb lighting effects. Best way to enhance the rgb’s are to swap the stock keycaps with any clear or pudding keycaps to appreciate more the rgb effects of this keyboard..

Highly recommended if you are into wired/wireless 65% mechanical keyboard with lots of rgb effects and plenty of room to modding

Build Quality: The build quality of this keyboard is surprisingly good considering the price point. However, one thing to keep in mind is that the aluminum frame is a literal aluminum frame. The main body of the keyboard is still plastic but there are aluminum panels that are screwed on the outside of the board (see picture). Because of it only being partially aluminum, it is relatively light weight for its size. The keyboard has two step angle adjustment and it works really well, I have had no issues with them being uneven or slippery. One annoyance I have with the hardware isn’t due to the build quality but rather the placement of the USB C port and bluetooth toggle switch. I would have rather have it somewhere in the back and out of the way. RGB: To summarize the lighting on this keyboard I would say it is disappointing and one of the reasons I knocked off one star from its rating. There are many different lighting modes and colors that are adjusted through the keyboard (since there is no lighting software).Unfortunately the lighting is poorly diffused meaning you can easily make out where the light is emitting from and it just makes it look cheap. If you are only using a static color then it becomes even more noticeable. The picture above is of the Keychron K6 (bottom) and the Kemove Shadow (top), there is a clear difference in lighting diffusion even though the Kemove keyboard is $15 cheaper. Keycaps: These keycaps are terrible. They are made out of ABS plastic and very thin plastic at that. This makes the keys feel extremely cheap. Going back to the Kemove keyboard, even though that one costs less, the keycaps on it are vastly superior to those on the Keychron. Normally this would not be an issue since cheap PBT keycaps are readily available but because this keyboard has a ‘non-standard’ layout, finding a compatible set of keycaps requires a bit more effort. There are some keycap sets sold by HK gaming on here that are compatible though. Bluetooth: The bluetooth on this keyboard is ok for the most part. I haven’t had it drop a signal but on occasion a keystroke will take half a second to register. Another issue and one that I have noticed is common among these bluetooth keyboards are repeating keys. It happens infrequently enough that it doesn’t make the keyboard unusable but it is still annoying. TLDR: Good build quality; RGB lighting that is not properly diffused; absolutely terrible keycaps that should be tossed out and replaced ASAP; bluetooth connection itself is solid but there is sometimes a tiny delay and also repeating keys on occasion At this price I highly recommend this keyboard. It has its deficiencies but is still a very useable keyboard with features that will please a wide range of customers.

The battery life using Bluetooth is pretty good but you have lo get used to the auto sleep feature if you want to have a long battery usage, this is a little bit annoying for me because I’m typing all day long so I have to wait ay least 3 – 6 secs to get the keyboard back from auto sleep The brightness it’s not bad at night but, while you are working at day hours it’s not good enough to be honest. The materials are good, I got the aluminum frame with hot swappable switches silent reds but I have to say that I do not love the keycaps I think this is a downside. I will let you see how it goes under artificial light, day light and under low light condition (almost night)

Really should have come with PBT caps. Otherwise pleased with keyboard. All features work very well and the flexibility of multiple devices and formats makes it future proof. I have it paired with an apple magic pad. Update: also works great with my Windows work computer. Used it solid for a week on my work Windows computer and personal Mac. It was fun to switch on the fly from one computer to the other. Battery never ran out, I ended up plugging it in at the end of the week to top off the charge. I also connected it to my iPad just because I could. Overall this is a great multitasking quality keyboard for the price….excellent value.

As you can see this are a different keycaps that I purchased, the original once are not bad but it wasn’t my color taste. I really love the functionality of the keyboard because I’ll be using mac in the future for design and windows when I play games. The Bluetooth connection was fast and switching to connect to different devices was fast, even tried it on my phone for fun and it works! Hoping in the future would change the switches so I’m not really sure about the hot swappable yet, I tired using the switch puller they provide but its kind of hard for me to use, but no big issue there. Overall the keyboard is great! The RGB lights are not as bright as they would be especially in daylight and with this dark keycaps I have they barley shine through which not a tie breaker for me, if you really want the lights to show, purchase a backlit keycaps or use white keycaps, and I’m sure the pudding keycaps would look nice too!
