- Wireless and Full Metal: Meet the Keychron Q1 Pro, a groundbreaking full metal QMK/VIA wireless custom mechanical keyboard. Along with our many premium designs, including double-gasket design, PBT keycaps, screw-in stabs, etc., it will deliver you an unprecedented typing experience! The entire metal body is crafted with 6063 aluminum that is processed through CNC machined, polished, anodized, sandblasted, and undergoes 24 more manufacturing stages.
- Multitasking Wirelessly and Wired Connections: You can connect the Q1 Pro with up to 3 devices wirelessly via its stable Broadcom Bluetooth 5.1 for seamless multitasking across your laptop, phone, and tablet. Switch among them swiftly, and it’s fully compatible with both Mac and Windows. The Q1 Pro can last up to 100 hours (at lowest brightness) with a 4000 mAh big battery, which is one of the biggest in mechanical keyboards. It also has wired mode with USB Type-C connection.
- Programmable with QMK & VIA: Keychron Q1 Pro allows anyone to remap any key, and create macro commands, shortcuts, or combination keys through VIA. Simply connect the Q1 Pro to your device with a cable, drag and drop your favorite keys or macro commands to remap any key you want on any system (macOS, Windows, or Linux). Note: User can remap a key on wired mode only. Once it’s done, the keymap will work on both wireless and wired modes.
- Hot-swappable Support: The pre-lubed mechanical tactile banana switch provides an early tactile bump at the top with a uniquely smooth experience. You can also hot-swap the Q1 Pro with almost all of the 3pin and 5pin MX mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without soldering required. The PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizer for “big keys” such as space bar, shift, enter, and delete are designed for less wobbliness and smooth performance.
- Innovative PBT Keycaps & South-facing Backlight: To further fine-tune your typing experience, we designed our unique Keychron spherical-angle (KSA profile) double-shot keycap set with premium non-backlight shine through PBT material, that is oil-resistant and durable for long-term use. Comes with 22 types of RGB backlight settings. You can further fine-tune the RGB hue, saturation, brightness, effect speed, and different modes, or even remap these keys with QMK/VIA.
- Double-Gasket Design: In addition to the gaskets on the plates, we added silicone pads between the top and bottom cases to significantly reduce the sound resonance between the metals and reduce the noise of the impacted metals. This design combination allows the keyboard to maintain the flexibility of the gasket structure and improves the overall typing sound.

Sorry, no photos here—I’m way too lazy to dig through my thousands of pics. But trust me, I’ve taken a ton of shots of this keyboard because it’s so sleek and cute on my desk! I even posted about it on social media, and it totally blew up—millions of views and thousands of comments. Everyone who owns this keyboard had nothing but good things to say about it.
Besides how good it looks, I’m obsessed with the clicky sound and the cool lighting effects. If you type a lot, you’ve got to treat yourself to this—it’s totally worth it!

I spent over $500 for the GMK PRO barebones where I built it. After some time of having it, I got complacent and accidentally spilled water on the keyboard. The lights stopped working and I grew frustrated with Glorious. After some research looking for similar keyboards, this keyboard (the Q1 series) was recommended and since I hate wires, I decided to get the bluetooth version. I also have an all-white setup.
If you’re on the edge, you can comfortably make the decision to pick this one. It’s less than over half the price, looks and feels similar, except you get a nice THOCK with bananas AND it’s not stiff AT ALL. 10/10 highly recommend.

This thing is a tank. I mean if you are the type that goes full on Tennessee and rage monster and throw your keyboard well you can literally go to prison if you hit someone with this thing. It’s a joy to type on but I didn’t like the keycaps that came with it I’m not sure what profile exactly but I switched to xda and did the tape mod and it sounds great. The only gripe I have is the angle. It’s not adjustable and I typically use an angle when typing but it’s not too bad without anything.
If you’re looking for a rock solid keyboard that will outlast your life if you take care of it this is it.

This is the first custom keyboard that I buy and I don’t regret it. This is what I can highlight (I don’t have too much experience):
The only thing to consider is to buy a palm rest, I already got one and I can feel the difference after some hours.
The keycaps, switches and the knob feel very good, they don’t feel cheap.
The case is pretty solid and heavy, it seems that it’s going to last for a while.
It comes with tools todisassemble the keycaps and the switches, very handy if you’re new to this.
It is easy to pair and the software to remap the keys is very easy to use.
I have used it in mac and windows, no problems so far, in both cases worked fine.
The plate and the absorbing foam feel comfortable, it doesn’t feel like it’s going to break.
I totally recommend to buy this keyboard or something else from Keychron.
