The big keys’ (space bar, shift, enter, delete) typing experience is now more stable and smooth with the new screw-In PCB stabilizers.

After being a user of regular gaming keyboards from Razer and Logitech I decided to try and find a real endgame. My first experience was with DuckyOne with Cherry Red Silent, and it was not it – quality is better than low-end keyboards ofc, but not the endgame. Also switches were tight and not responsive.
But man o man how glad am I that I tried Keychron Q3. This is a true pleasure to have this on my dest, I can say that literally everything is awesome here! Sound, key pressure / tightness, weight, overall build quality, robustness, its like a next level. The only downside if you wish is maybe that there are no legs on the back, so you can’t control angle of it. But it may also be a good thing also – you shouldnt be worried about them on a correct position when you move the keyboard around. Anyway, highly recommend!

Amazing value for around $200. I picked it up on sale with the Cherry Blues; not my style switch but it was about $150 on sale so I just replaced the switches. Heavy and the build quality is excellent. The keycaps are really nice. Overall I love this keyboard. Why spend hundreds more on a custom when you can buy a stock keyboard this good?
I will note one thing. I have had issues with the keyboard losing connectivity to an Ubuntu box when routed through a kvm. It may be an issue with low quality USB-C cables but I don’t have the issue when the keyboard is connected to a macbook through the same KVM. I have to toggle the KVM to reacquire the keyboard.

I’m not a keyboard enthusiasts, just like the clicking feeling of mechanical keyboard. I own a few other brand of mechanical keyboards, but so far this Keychron Q3 is the best by a margin. The build quality is solid, it is heavier than most of my laptops. Typing on it is really an enjoyment. Big fan of customization through via – a website, so you don’t have to install anything locally. And the range of customizations is really unlimited. Will definitely recommend this keyboard, and plan to get another one from Keychron.
