You can also hot-swap the V6 with almost all of the 3pin and 5pin MX mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without soldering required. The PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizer for “big keys” such as space bar, shift, enter, and delete are designed for less wobbliness and smooth performance.
- Compatible with both macOS & Windows Systems: Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Keychron V6 comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard.
- Double-shot PBT Keycaps & South-facing Backlight: The V6 comes with our unique OSA profile and double-shot PBT keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable and subtle fingertip feel with excellent oil resistance for long-term use. The south-facing RGB is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle and free from interference when the user installs Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the V6.

Me encanta este teclado. Sus switches son muy fluidos y suaves. El sonido que hace es muy relajante. Tiene varias configuraciones y la perilla es útil para algunos macros específicos.

I bough this keyboard for gaming and video editing. So far I really like the way the switches feel and the key caps look pretty nice. The Knob is at an awkward position but other than that I have no complaints. If Keychron ever makes a keyboard with the num pad on the left instead of the right I’ll prolly get that one as a replacement for this.

5 stars across the board no pun intended.
Typing on this thing is so smooth. The build quality is excellent. The cable comes with a USB-C to USB-A adapter. Has a metal volume knob built in that you can remap. The keycaps are very easy to remove and the switches can be removed too. Comes with all the tools you would need.
Keychron knocked it out of the park with their software too. You don’t need to download more bloatware onto your PC, you can just go directly to a website and effortlessly remap keys, change RGB settings, do firmware updates, etc.
Of everyone I know that bought a Keychron, I’m the first and only one who initially got one that had an issue. Unfortunately, one of the keys didn’t work. It was easy to return on go-keyboard.com, and the replacement works as intended.

The Keychron V6 Wired Custom Mechanical Keyboard has exceeded my expectations! It came exactly as advertised, and the build quality is outstanding—it’s solid, well-built, and has a surprising heft to it. The keys sound great right out of the box, are hot-swappable, and the RGB backlighting offers plenty of customization options to match any setup. The volume knob is an excellent touch and super convenient for quick adjustments.
One tip: I’d recommend testing out the different key switch options before purchasing to find your ideal feel and sound. My only minor complaint is that the stock keycaps aren’t shine-through, so the RGB doesn’t shine as brightly through the legends.
Overall, this is a fantastic keyboard, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a durable and customizable mechanical keyboard!

If you’re obsessive about researching your computer gear like I am you’ll likely have come across the term “budget” when researching this board. This is a budget board when compared to boards two or three times it’s cost.
This keyboard is great and is miles ahead of the Corsair K70 it is replacing. I have the red switches and the keys feel and sound great. Most importantly they are fairly quiet. I love the macro feature. The keyboard is fully programmable so I programed the shape keys to be my macros. The macros are saved onto the keyboard itself so you can even unplug the keyboard and move it onto your work computer. The software is great and is much easier to use compared to Logitech’s.
Just two minor complaints. The keycaps are not shine through. If they are they are barely shine through. In the dark you’ll be able to see the outline of the keys but not the letters. The knob is a great feature but it is a little awkward to manipulate. There isn’t much room between the knob and the keys to fit your fingers.
The Keychron V6 is my favorite keyboard! Verified Buyer –

I really like the retro look and that this keyboard was available in a 100% size. That wasn’t, however the main criteria. My main reason for buying this was the hot swap option AND having a choice of tactile and linear switches right out of the gate.
After struggling to control my previous keyboard (linear switches, but not hot swap), I knew I wanted tactile, but with all the varieties out there, I didn’t know exactly where to start. The tactile option that came with this keyboard looked like a good starting point. Arriving fully assembled and for a reasonable price point, I could get started with it and not have a big investment should I end up replacing the switches. This proved to be a good strategy as I REALLY like this keyboard just as it is. For me, it’s been a real game changer (pun intended). I had no idea how much a keyboard that matches your typing style and needs can make life better.
In spite of the fact that this is a plastic enclosure, the unit is heavy, solid, and feels really well built. I’ve had no issues with it whatsoever and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it as a good basic entry point into the world of highly customized keyboards.
