I bought this for a computer build for my daughter, who loves the keyboard. The backlit keys make it really easy to read. If you turn all backlighting off, though, the key lettering becomes very hard to read but the backlighting is nice, helpful and therefore I can’t really see why you would turn it off.
The keys themselves have a nice, ‘clickety-clackety’ mechanical keyboard feel and sound and the base is solid / does not flex. I’d say, for the price, this keyboard is superb value for money and highly recommended if you warm to the ‘clickety-clackety’ mechanical keyboard feel and sound. Having gone through an evolution myself, from cheapo rubber dome, to IBM buckling spring and ending at Topre capacitative keyboard, it wouldn’t be for me but keyboards are personal things and for what it sets out to be, it’s really very good!

I got this keyboard to replace my failed Razer gaming keyboard (which was several years old).
I decided I didn’t need an RGB function and was happy with a simple backlight. I also didn’t need a numpad as i rarely use this for data input and it was just taking up space on my desk alongside my work keyboard (which needs one).
The keys feel solid with a nice but not overly loud click. They are responsive and work well when typing at pace.
I’m not an elite gamer so my input speed requirements are pretty low, but this handles what I need more than well enough.
Overall more than happy with this at a currently very reasonable discounted price.
