   I was looking for a solid quality keyboard with programmable keys and back lighting capability for general purpose typing. I am not a gamer and so I can’t really comment on how well it is suited for gaming. There may be better gaming keyboards available but it is perfect for my needs.

   es bastante más grueso que los teclado economicos por lo que queda más alto que a lo que estoy acostumbrado, los botones para las macros al inicio me resultaron incomodos pues la orilla del teclado era mi referencia para las teclas de la derecha, ya no más, me e acostumbrado a ellos. lo compré más que nada por la luz y porque mi teclado ya estaba duro, a las macros no les e encontrado mucha utilidad realmente pues no están en una posición muy accesible desde la posición WASD, aunque si le veo utilidad si requieres dejar corriendo una macro

   I have been using this keyboard for a couple of years now. I bought it because I needed a new keyboard. I use it for writing papers and gaming. Besides these uses, I bought the keyboard because it was a clearance keyboard at office depot (if I recall correctly). I just happened to be on pcpartpicker.com recently when I saw the go-keyboard.com price for $175 for this keyboard. I bought this keyboard for $40 in a store. For the go-keyboard.com price listed, I would recommend purchasing a keyboard with mechanical functionality and more gaming functions. There are some gaming buttons on the keyboard and you can customize those for games (when in-game). The colors on the keyboard do not change so there is not really a point to downloading the software Logitech recommends because it will not change the colors nor enhance the “performance” of the keyboard itself (except if you want to see a heat map of your keystrokes in-game).

   good keyboard.

   i like the fell of the key they fell sturdy and yet are easy to press. the keys are big enough yet are close enough to roam free on the keyboard for writing or gaming.

   for those who prefer a sensitive keyboard, light press, keep away, as each key need a good press without having to hammer it.
   let just say that you wont press, by accident, a button by resting your hand on the keyboard

   After typing and gaming on this thing for several months, I still like it and haven’t run into any issues Never been a huge fan of gaming keyboards as they seem to be too flashy, but this one has style and the relevant bonuses (macro keys and basic lighting) I was looking for at a reasonable price Pairs well with the G300s mouse

   This is a rather sturdy keyboard compared to my Logitech Cordless Desktop EX100 (920-000879) The keys are more firm and less springy. It’s just about right for how they respond in my opinion. I do have a minor gripe with the back of the keyboard being a rather blazing fire engine red since I would just prefer my keyboard being all black. The lights are done just right, they don’t glare and you can easily see them. It is also nice to color the WSAD (since it’s usually used in most games as the default navigaitonal buttons). I’m not a serious gamer that plays FPS but I found the layout fine. However, more serious gamers would find this keyboard average at best especially for FPS or games that require timing to beat in online tourneys. I primarily made the set of videos to demonstrate how nicely it goes with my current desktop setup. As you can see I already have quite a bit of blue going on, so this keyboard definitely matches the theme. This keyboard is not wireless, and that may be a benefit for people who do not like wireless delays or drops. The cable’s length is decent at 6 feet. Setup was a bit confusing, it wasn’t the installation process but rather Logitech gave you instructions to go the a specific URL and it doesn’t lead you to the product but their generic page of components to download drivers for. Even then, It took some time to settle for the brand since this box does not label itself as the “Call of Duty” version, but just a G105. I also had that issue with registration. However, once installation was finished the interface for setting up the gaming mouse was rather easy to use and I included a video so you can see how the software would run on your system. Overall, I have only minor cosmetic and installation gripes. I love how customizable the keys are especially since I can arrange a set for illustration and painting, as well. While I use anWacom Intuos4 Large Pen Tablet one of the reasons I can’t do a keyboard tablet combination is that there are shortcuts that are more hand oriented. Being left handed, CTRL+C or, commands that use Select all would require me to stop and use my left hand. With the ability to map these to a single hotkey it makes it easier. So far, I have to say sturdy product and I cannot deny the matching LEDs to go with my other products are a plus. Now to find a nice LED mouse…. Pros Sturdy keyboard feels built to last. Interface is actually easy to use when customizing keys Cable length is decent Great layout and LED is lit just right. Programmable Hot Keys (great for not just games but other programs like illustration/graphic design) Cons *minor – Red backing instead of pure black. This is silly, why would you back this with red and have blue LEDs? It just don’t match. Need clearer URLs for registering product since this is just the G105 (not the Call of Duty version) Music in Video: Men at Work – Down Under Down Under Soul Edge – The Edge of Soul (Unfortunately, go-keyboard.com doesn’t have a download for this song from the game).

   Worked great. It have everything I needed. However a few months into its use, 2 of my 6 Macro keys stopped working. I’ve tried everything to fix it reinstalling drivers and reconfiguring them. I am let to believe that there is something wrong with the keyboard. But over all good keyboard for the price.

   To say that I recommend this mouse is an understatement, if you’re into gaming this is a pretty cost effective quality keyboard, you don’t need to spend upwards of 100 bucks for a mechanical.
