   I like it but the v key blacklight is yellow. How does that happen? I am going to return it for something else bc I don’t like the yellow key and I think it’s too loud. I work from home, but if I have to work at night, this would be too noisy. The edges of the keys are sharp, too, so working for long periods of time tend to wear my fingers down.

    I’ve always valued Logitech products features, but quality leaves a lot to be desired… In this case the M key led has turned yellowish, luckily it doesn’t affect functionality.     I purchased this keyboard last year for its smaller footprint and lit keys. Loved it! Last week I accidentally dumped half a bowl of soup on it. 😖 Rushed it to the sink, thinking it was done for. Ran water through the keys to clean it, figuring why not? Laid it upside down for a bit, then used a hairdryer on it. It works perfectly!!! Not suggesting anyone try this at home, obviously, but if you want a fun, clicky, lit up keyboard that is durable AF, get this

    I can’t tell you how well this works for gaming, but if you’re looking to buy this as a Mac keyboard for standard daily use, definitely read on. This keyboard is far better for a PC. It doesn’t have matching keys for a Mac keyboard, so you’ll have reduced functionality with key commands. These are differences I’ve come across so far: – Instead of a CMD key on both sides of the space bar, this keyboard has only one on the left of the spacebar that functions that way, and it’s not in the position of the usual Mac CMD key. (see my pic) – There’s no volume control on this keyboard, so you’ll have to have your Mac keyboard available to change volume unless you keep volume control visible on your menu bar. – Screen dimming requires holding this keyboard’s fn key and then using F1 or F2. – Some special function keys on this keyboard don’t do anything on a Mac. Here’s what I do like about the keyboard: – Satisfying click. The keys are like old school keyboards with large keys that actually had feel to them. The volume of the click is kind of loud though, so if you need to maintain a quieter environment this keyboard won’t do. – The attached 10 key is nice to have. – It’s corded so no batteries required. – The keyboard is sturdy feeling with just-right weight to it – The key backlighting is adjustable – No quick trigger keys means no accidental double lettering – Because the keyboard rises high off your desktop compared to modern keyboards, make sure you have a seating position that lets you keep your hands lower than normal. Overall this keyboard is probably great for gaming or for PC users who don’t have to keep it down while using it. If you’re a Mac user, especially one who needs a quiet environment, you should look at different models.

    I’ve been using the keyboard for a little over a year but I noticed the wire started to expose like around 6 months of usage. I don’t move my keyboard around often and seeing the wire expose at almost every joint is making me really unsatisfied about Logitech’s quality. I might be better off with other brands. :/ Contacted Logitech to tell me this is only a cosmetic issue.

    Just received this keyboard. It is very loud! It sounds like I am typing on a 1950s mechanical typewriter with a sheet of paper on the roller. I will be returning it ASAP. Other than that it is very sleek. The size is perfect for my needs. I love the finish of the board (under the keys).     Es el primer teclado mecánico que compro, es mas compacto de lo que esperaba, se siente solido en la estructura y las teclas se sienten muy bien. Al configurarlo en español algunas teclas no estan en su lugar.     Good mechanical keyboard for the price. Liked it cause it has no RGB. Had a keycap break off and had to contact customer service. It took about 50 messages and 15 emails but they eventually honored the warranty and sent a new keyboard. Didn’t knock a star off for eutomer service but it could have been better/easier.

    It’s a TenKeyLess keyboard, meaning the number pad is absent from the right. It’s a nice, compact mechanical keyboard from a reputable, brand name company. It only has white back-lighting, as far as I can tell. The higher model has all the colors, but I never use them. The white looks elegant. And that sleek aluminum faceplate is solid! It’s the perfect keyboard for a perfect price.

    Either that, or I received a defective unit. I absolutely love the build quality and weight, everything about it feels sturdy. I also didn’t realize how much I missed mechanical keys, and these have a great feel to them. (love the clickety clack, but someone who is regularly on a mic or is streaming should think on it) However, if something ever happens to the backlight, there’s no way to see the letters! They’re there, but only a few shades lighter than the keys themselves, which means you’d better be sharp-eyed, or good at remembering your touch typing. As a Gen X, I do still remember where most of the keys are, but the vision definitely isn’t what it used to be. Needless to say, I can’t take the chance on it, especially in a world where products start going pear shaped a day or two after the warranty expires. Sadly, that means I will be returning this keyboard and have replaced it with a unit which has larger lettering that is highly visible, even without a backlight.

    I just needed a good keyboard for typing and this is finally the one! I’ve tried several different ones including the overpriced RGB gaming ones and found most of them to be too sensitive. I’m a hard typer who learned on a IBM Selectric and have been longing for an old-style Compaq or IBM PS/2 – 5160 mechanical keyboard. This one is great. It’s obviously not as hard as those but the keys don’t engage unless you fully depress them (I have a habit of slightly hitting the key next to the one I meant to) which I love. They have a defined mechanical click which is ideal. The white lighting is fine .. I’d have given it 5 stars is if had a darn volume knob but the FN- F10/F11 gets the job done. Everyone takes part in Teams/Zoom these days so volume knobs should become more of a standard. Also, I wish it had an attachable wrist rest .. again not a deal breaker. The keyboard works and feels great and is the ideal size.

    Satisfied with my purchase, but this keyboard is definitely made for those who are willing to cut out a few premium features to save a few dollars. The keyboard itself is well-made and I especially like the relatively quiet and tactile feel of these keys, but it lacks things that other keyboards at this price point also offer, such as USB passthrough, more robust RGB lighting (this keyboard has a few white-only modes and brightness controls but they must be re-enabled every time you reboot), wireless options, and other features. If you’re willing to compromise on those things, you’ll find this to be a quality, reliable keyboard.

    This is a USB keyboard. It didn’t work when I plugged it in. go-keyboard.com suggests looking for support at Logitech’s site. This was a waste of time. I called Logitech and found that, yes like every other of the dozens of keyboards I have bought over several decades, it ought to work without software drivers. While I had it, I noticed that looked at edge on, the guts of the switches are visible. I don’t know if this is more or less likely to trap dirt under the keys, but it is ugly. I also didn’t like the fact that they keys are not readable when the power is off, which was a permanent feature in the case of my keyboard. I returned it and will not re-order the same model.

    I’m not sure would call this mechanical keyboard. Mechanical keyboards have distinct clicking sound. This keyboard does not. Also this keyboard is a little small. The keys are small as well. Will see over time if I can type on on this keyboard

    ive never owned a mechanical keyboard before and i am very satisfied. it sounds and feels much better than a membrane keyboard. the lighting is clean and goes well with my setup. my favourite thing is the compactness of the keyboard and how slick it is. definitely good for anybody with a small desk. got it on sale for 80 including shipping and taxes. well worth the money. only nitpick is the spacebar is quite louder than the other keys and feels different, but its like that a lot for other keyboards.

    If you are looking for a great mechanical keyboard and don’t want to deal with all the BS that doesn’t matter, this is the keyboard to buy. Especially if you can find on sale as I did and get for $50 or under. I needed a new keyboard to complete my home nerd center where I work and play video games. I went from the Dell Membrane keyboard that my employer gave me to this Mechanical Keyboard after going through three keyboards due to how much I use, I also type hard. This checked all the boxes for me and I love it so very much. Great look with its brushed aluminum top plate to keep these wonderful feeling PBT keys and brown switches in place. There isn’t software to run RGB and you have 5-6 different lighting settings that’s controlled with Function F12, perfection. I didn’t want another program to run on my PC and the default lights are bright, clear and look clean with the white. In the middle of the day the keys are easy to read and see, when keyboard lights are out the keys look black. Lights reset after every power down cycle on your computer so if that’s something that annoys you maybe buy something else, for me this is exactly what I needed. The feel and sound of the keys and switches are great. I type hard and the longer throw of the keys and feel of them is just wonderful. The sound makes me happy and the feel has me wanting to type up rants to all my exes. In love! Great price and Great feel. Video included so y’all’s can hear the wonderful sounds emanating from this great product. Update; still in love swooning out here. Including pics of some keycaps that look sexy. Pics do no justice how good these white keys made it. Duel colorway is the best.

    Logitech, whose keyboards I’ve used for 3 or 4 years, offered mostly rubber-dome affairs that felt like typing on Jell-O. But with this one, the G413: it’s like Logitech reached into my head and pulled out exactly what kind of keyboard I would like and then built it for me. This keyboard is exactly what I need: fantastic white-only lighting, all the large characters are brightly lit, no obnoxious, onerous, bloaty software to install to control the lighting, very pleasing feel, and a very small footprint. It’s no Model M SE TKL, but it’s not trying to be, and at $50–quite literally a tenth of the price of a good Model M TKL today–it’s plenty good enough.

    This Logitech is fantastic, with its keys being less noisy and very satisfying to the impact this is a wonderful choice! If you want a mechanical but don’t want the green or blue switches. This is a nice more quiet variety. It’ll still click, but it isn’t a clack fest. Enough about sound and impact. Function keys work well and is compatible with the steam deck! Solid choice in response and ergonomics and will last due to proper quality as Logitech is known for. If you want a clean setup for the office with better feel than a basic keyboard this is great. If you are a gamer you will love it! This is a well rounded and tasteful mechanical keyboard! It’s worth it’s value and price, also the white backlights are great in low light situations!

    Having used Razer and HyperX keyboards, this one surprised me a LOT. Now I’m not one to buy unknown or off brands, or spend time on custom keyboards. I wanted a simple keyboard that works for programming, school, and gaming usage. The build quality is solid, fully functional, there’s no rainbow circus lights that mostly every other gaming keyboard has, and there’s NO rattly keys or annoying pinging noise. This keyboard is extremely good. I love it. I paired this keyboard up with a HyperX wrist rest I owned. Note: ignore glare in the photos is from my phone camera. There’s no actual glare on the keys. Update: Ended up returning it because the keys lost their tactileness over time. Would not recommend.

    I’m not inclined to speak on the switches – don’t have much experience on swapping switches or post/pre lube comparison. But love that I could swap these keycaps, I think they were the worst part. Very cheap-feeling keycaps come with it, but once replaced, feels a lot better! It’s not the most feature-rich experience but it’s a solid keyboard otherwise. Just needing something simple and hot-swappable? RGB not too important to you? This guy right here.

    Key caps are thin and bad quality (spacebar cracked), certain backlight LEDs are also turning yellow (as seen in attached photos) and feels more like a linear switch than the tactile I paid for. Also not quiet as branded and doesn’t sound good. Alright for the price but I would recommend spending a bit more $ if you’re set on Logitech or just going with a different brand
