   Keys are losing their LEDs (so far two have lost their blue LEDs) and cannot for the life of me get a hold of Logitech customer support. Emails and tickets submitted on their support page just go unanswered. Not even just an auto-reply acknowledgment. I had been a loyal Logitech customer for decades for peripherals and even speakers, as its customer support used to be amazing, but no longer.

   I love this keyboard. I love typing on it, I love playing games on it. The only issue is the keys are a little stiff so when you’re holding W for a long time your finger might get tired. For the money, this was a great buy. Logitech is reliable and this is a very nice keyboard. It comes with a wrist rest which was much appreciated since they keyboard is higher up than my old flat one with chicklet keys. The backlit keys are RGB and you can fully customize the pattern for each game you are playing if you wish.

   I was looking for keyboard that only illuminated the keys and not the whole keyboard when i saw this one i had to get it. The keys are clicky but not too loud just like i wanted and the wrist wrest is nice and comfortable. Only thing i dislike is the lighting for the keypad does not light the whole number i will attach a picture so you understand.

   Works great, keys mapping works just fine. Quality on the keys could be way better, for a $100+ keyboard I would think they keys would last longer. I had my previous Razer keyboard for 6 years before the material began to wear off the keys with 3-4 a day of usage. I had only had this keyboard 2 months and with the same 3-4 hours a day of usage, I have already worn a good bit of of the painted coating on a few keys off. Pretty disappointing considering its a gaming keyboard and should be able to take much heavier usage than what I put on it.

   I love the gaming keyboard, though not a gamer. I like being able to more easily see the letters & numbers. I have it on recommendation from my gaming daughter who shared that it’s very durable. I enjoy the ease of changing the lighting options from an icon on my desktop. I preferred the option of a wired keyboard which is not an issue for me, no need to change batteries. I spent a bit more for the gaming keyboard due to some not so good reviews regarding less expensive lit keyboards. You also have a choice of 3 different keyboard options for the type that fits your desires. I love this lit keyboard & would gladly buy again.

   It’s a solid keyboard.
   I like the look and the feel. Premium material. Good build quality.
   Logitech’s software is pretty good for customizing the backlighting, and the additional gaming key caps are a nice touch.
   I also really like and appreciate the wrist wrist. It’s quite padded, got good grip on the button and has a thoughtful groove for a microphone cable.

   But after a couple months some of my keys occasionally have a minor squeak, which can be a little irritating. But it’s rare and doesn’t usually last for too long.

    Absolutely infuriated. The box was torn up, the keyboard itself had a giant dent on the numpad preventing the use of several keys, and no where on the screen did it say “used”. This will be the last Logitech item I ever buy, especially off go-keyboard.com.

    This is a good keyboard. It has great looking RGB backlighting, a wonderful typing feel, and a high end build quality. Even the wrist wrest is high quality and extremely comfortable. However, there is one major feature that this keyboard is missing, and it has me contemplating sending this keyboard back. Media keys! How can a $150 keyboard not include media keys, while the less expensive models include them, but lack other features? It may seem like a minor detail, but it’s incredibly frustrating.

    After playing several aggressive games of Overwatch, I had three keys just snap their legss off with no way to remove them. The stems were buried so deep, nothing but breaking the actual keys would get them out. If you game at all and are serious about it, then stay far far away from this keyboard. The overall build quality is nice but these keycaps are simply the achilies heel of this keyboard/

    Have large hands and work with them daily so a gentle keyboard is not for me lol. This keyboard feels solid and the brown switches have a nice controllable feel under the fingers. Blue and browns are my favorites but red are way light for me and I hit keys by accident( I’ve used all three over the years). If you have large or strong hands get blue or brown but if you have high dexterity or are a smaller person then try the reds. Ghub software with keyboard is easy to use and RGB is bright, crisp, and fully customizable with savable profiles for different games and/or rgb schemes on your system. Worth the money in my opinion. Used extra keys they supplied for added texture that cups the finger as you can see on the picture.

    I type this review after having this Romer-G Linear switch keyboard after having it for about 4 days. At first it took me some time to get used to the typing feel but the more i type with it makes me want to type even more as it feels great now. Not too loud and the pressure needed to type or actuation point is quite fluid and short so makes your typing feeling smooth and quick. I have not tried the MX Speed switches but I can safely say this is a really fast typing keyboard for someone like an average typist like me. Awesome feel and build quality, if you want the most premium look and feel on a keyboard then this is it!

    Within 3 months the keycaps started chipping on my most used keys. “WASDFNMC” and “SHIFT” are completely rubbed off, “QEL” and “CTRL” are on their way out and random other keys are showing signs of wear. The keyboard still works fine but the fact that I’ve used other keyboards so heavily for years (including other Logitech keyboards) without the keycap paint fading while this one starts to chip within months is insane to me.

    The quality of the keys are great and very nice to type on, but I’ve been noticing a pretty big issue with the lighting on mine. After the first few weeks, my down arrow key kept getting dimmer and dimmer. I had the RGBs set on blue for awhile and I couldn’t figure out why this was happening. Then, after a few more days, the down arrow key was completely black. After messing around with the colors, I noticed that if I made the keyboard all red or all green, it would light back up no problem. And now, I’ve noticed the same thing starting to happen with the 8 key in the number row. (It’s hard to see in the pictures, but it’s very noticeable in person. How do I change the bulbs? Do they often burn out and on just one color?

    Personally I don’t see why this keyboard has so many bad reviews. I genuinely love this keyboard. Before I go into a long review about why I love it I’ll provide a summary here in the beginning. The software for this keyboard is awesome, the keys are quiet, the key switches feel really nice to type on, the lighting is really bright and looks great, and I like the minimalist design (no large sides or extra macro keys). Oh and the keycap remover is super easy to use. Background: I’ve used MX Cherry switches exclusively for the past 6 years or so. I’ve tried browns and found them too mushy. I didn’t like the little actuation bump on the blues. I love black switches but they are hard to find on most keyboards. I like reds very much and they easy to find on most keyboards. When the Romer-G switch was announced I tried it on the Orion Spark 910 and absolutely hated them. I really only like linear switches. So for the past 4 years I have been using a Ducky Shine 3 TKL with MX Red switches. I love that keyboard however it lacked any software to change or create light modes and the only RGB thing about it was the space bar the rest of the keys had a red LED. So I’ve been waiting for a keyboard with RGB lighting, linear switches (preferably Cherry Blacks), decent software to change lighting profiles or create my own depending in which game or program I’m working on (I need this because I mainly game and work late at night and just like some keys to be light not all), and preferably TKL (without the number pad because I don’t really need one). I’ve tried Razer products and absolutely hate their software and don’t like their switches. I don’t like how the RGB lighting is on the Corsair and Steelseries keyboards, where the light is seen under the keys. So I’ve been waiting for something which would fill most of my check boxes. Then Logitech announced a new linear Romer-G switch on an aluminum backed keyboard. I checked go-keyboard.com for the reviews and saw that they were abysmal, and saw that no one mentioned the Logitech software at all. But I really wanted to give check out the keyboard. So I went to my local Fry’s and asked to test out the switches and immediately fell in love with the switches and keyboard! I purchased it right then and there. I usually don’t write reviews about my purchases but I feel compelled to defend my keyboard’s honor! So finally here is my review. Review: The switches on this keyboard are some of the best I have ever typed on. They also happen to be relatively quiet, compared to other keyboards I have used in the past. I have not experienced a metallic sound when bottoming out the keys as other reviews have mentioned. Lighting on this keyboard is just how I like it, where the light is on the keys not reflected of the keyboard. The lighting itself is quiet bright that I had to lower the brightness at first (again I mainly use my computer at night so for me bright may be dim for you). The rubber base on the keyboard and wrist rest is really grippy. The included wrist rest is pretty comfortable, but I honestly cannot play games with it. For some reason it just bothers me too much. But for typing it is quite nice. Lastly, the software is probably the best I have used. It took me 30 minutes how to change lighting profiles, edit profiles, change them, create new profiles depending on which program or game is running, etc. For example, I have a red breathing setting on my default profile. But as soon as Overwatch loads my Overwatch profile automatically kicks in. As soon as exit the game, my default loads back on. The transition is seamless and it just plain works. So for me, this keyboard is fantastic. NOTE: This keyboard DOES NOT have a scroll wheel to adjust volume. By default you it is FN + (PRTSC, SCRLK, or PAUSE) depending on what you want to do. This is not an issue for me all but I know for some people this is a deal breaker. There is no NUM LOCK ON/OFF LED. There are no additional macro keys except for F1 to F12 which can be re-programmed to whatever you like via the software. The USB pass-through is only USB 2.0 not 3.0 🙁 For $150 this keyboard is very pricey. While this is the only keyboard currently with Logitech’s linear switches, rest assured other models will also have them in future. So if you want TKL with these switches you might only have to wait a little while.

    I love this Keyboard. I got the red Switch version. The keyboard is a full size board and looks amazing. Super high quality materials and has a built in USB pass through on the top right rear side. The cable is braided, thick, and high quality. The lighting is amazing and each key is individually lit. You can of course pick any color of combinations you like as well as change the lighting patterns and intensity. The switches themselves feel fantastic and still make a very satisfying but quiet noise. Great for both gaming and typing though red switches are best for rpgs and mmos imo. I personally use it for gaming. The included wrist wrest is high quality nice thick leather with 4 padded edges under it to hold it in place. It can be moved and does not attach to the keyboard but will stay where you place it. This makes it way better than attached ones imo. It has a built in pass through under the wrist wrest for your headset/mouse cables as well. It also comes with 12 extra notches keys to replace the standard ones for 1-5, QWER, and ASD. Basically all your gaming keybinds and they feel super nice. I wish I could replace all the keys with them as they feel that good but the standard ones are also great. Overall for the price this keyboard is a 10/10 for me. I love almost everything about it. The only downside I can think of is the volume controls. There is no dedicated volume nobs or switch so you have to use the FN function to control your volume which isn’t a big deal for me but may be to someone else. I’d say if you’re in the market for a comfortable, high quality, full size gaming/typing keyboard you can’t go wrong with the Logitech G513. Included pics of the keyboard and wrist wrest as well as the lighting on and off and included extra switches in place. Hope this helps you out.

    I’m really enjoying this keyboard and using the G-Hub software to create fun, animated lighting configurations. G-Hub, while not very intuitive to use, does come with some cool preset effects and animations. Two of my favs are the ‘Audio Visualizer’ (sound reactive) and the ‘Echo Press’. I have designed and saved several of my own configurations but selecting between them doesn’t seem to work with any consistency. That said, it’s fun and it distracts me from what I’m supposed to be doing so… there’s that. Lastly, the keys are loud on this version and the dampeners I bought do not make any difference., Note: in the images and vids associated to this reveiw, you’ll see that the number keys have been replaced with the “Havit Keycaps 60 87 104 Double Shot Backlit PBT Pudding Keycap Set with Puller for DIY Cherry MX RGB Mechanical Keyboard (Black)” because the native keys do not illuminate both characters on the number keys.

    Update– Bought May 2020– Update Nov 2021 After working from home and using this keyboard for up to 8-10 hours a day 7 days a week– I am getting quality issues. I am getting some of the issues that others have noticed– missing key press and double key press. This is happening almost every day now. I loved this keyboard for work and for play but I would have expected the switches to last longer. Also it matters when you type something to the CEO and the keyboard starts to freak. Not a good look. Looking to replace ASAP. I love this keyboard! Pros: Comfortable wrist rest Lighting effects are awesome– I love the color wave setting Keys are just loud enough but not too clicky (This is the tactile version) The feel of the keys are the best part– Very expensive nice feel to them The brushed metal looks great on my desk Keyboard isn’t huge– does not take up entire desk Does not render electric shocks like the Razer one that I returned to go-keyboard.com. Don’t buy the Razer huntsman Elite. Cons: Lack of Macro keys No multimedia keys No Num Lock light? This is your standard keyboard that is old school. If you want a no frills are no weird buttons on your keyboard– This is an excellent buy. I highly recommend this keyboard. Just what I needed

    I love typing on this thing. (linear, no click). Much less travel time to accuation than a cherry MX. However, the RGB implementation is weak as hell. This is the brightest white you can achieve (right side of the picture). It always has a blue tint no matter what settings you put it on. Meanwhile, the Razer Orbweaver next to it can pull off any shade of white you want without blue tint. Super disappointed that I will have to use some color other than white and hope I can get them to match. Though I doubt it if the white balance is that far off. I really wish these damn tech companies could learn to stick to some sort of standard. Instead of forcing full loyalty through stupid details.

    I’ve had this keyboard for about 4 months now but I noticed as early as 1 week into using it that the coating on the keycaps were scratching off very easily to where they are now. The keyboard itself is fine so far– but I can now feel a difference in texture on the S and D keys shown in the picture. EDIT 6/24: My left arrow key keycap broke and there wasn’t any replacements that came with the keyboard itself.

    Had one before, killed it with accidental soup all over it (the keys still worked but my leds were cooked) bought another one, and the sheer amount of joy i have from having it again is unreal. It feels awesome to the typing, is not loud, yet I can still feel every click, and the solidity of the chassis is insane! No ragequit boy gonna break it anytime soon!
