   the keyboard itself is fantastic. it feels great it’s clicky but not loud. everything mechanically and build wise is just about perfect. i’d like the function media keys to be closer to the function key but that’s about it. the BIG awful problem with this keyboard and we’ll all razer products is the horrible synapse software. you have to use it if you want to setup a lighting profile or anything like that. half the the light profile will just freeze up or the majority of the lights will stop working or a million other problems with the lights. there are too many bugs that break synapse to count. looking on the internet results in people telling you to either reinstall synapse which doesn’t help in the slightest as the problems are always persistent or to contact customer service. who basically give you the equivalent of an internet shrug unless your wanting to return the keyboard. this is a common problem that many other people have reported and no real help has been provided. i love the keyboard it feels great but with the software in the state it is in
   I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU BUY A PRODUCT FROM ANOTHER COMPANY.

   *UPDATE 5-2021* STILL going strong with no problems. Keys still feel the same as on day 1, no lights burning out, everything still works like new. Absolutely recommend.

   *UPDATE 11-2019* Still love this keyboard and am still glad I bought it for the same reasons i said in my original review. All of the keys work perfectly, no skipping or missing that isn’t just how I type, no problems at all. In the time I have had this keyboard, I have had to replace my daughter’s Logitech G910 twice and it AGAIN now has a dead W key which can’t be replaced. She might be getting one of these instead.

   LOVE this keyboard. There are cheaper definitely, but it was worth it to me. The keys feel really nice to type on, has the perfect amount of resistance and is only a wee little bit clicky, unlike my last one my neighbors could probably hear. It is definitely way more quiet than most mechanical keyboards around, certainly any i have used or heard. It’s just an aesthetic thing but I really like how much it can be customized. I would definitely buy it again, though with care and a little luck I won’t have to because it will last a long time.

   Expensive but the best KB out there for your money. Totally configurable, from macros to KB color displays. Very quiet tactile keys, I do not like the loud clicky keys but do like how they give you that tactile feel, well you can have best of both worlds with accurate click feel and response but without that noisy typewriter clacking.

   This should be the last keyboard you own for a very long time.

   for a product this expensive, the fact that the S key is already wearing out is really bad. my keyboard is not even 6 month old.

   I’m replacing my blackwidow (non chroma or stealth) after 5 years (still in good shape) with this one and so far its incredible. Much quieter, very responsive, looks and feels great, the chroma features are pretty awesome as well.
