   This is a very nice razer keyboard. It includes a key puller, usb c to a cable, and a 2.4ghz dongle. The keyboard can connect over bluetooth also there’s a handy storage compartment for the 2.4ghz dongle on the bottom of the keyboard. The rgb lights are bright but not blindingly bright and can be used in the dark easily. The key switches feel nice and have a good tactile feel without being too clicky.

   I like the mini version as it claims very little space on my desk. This keyboard uses ‘fn’ key to access F1-F12 row and middle keypad. Keyboard is fully programmable and you can use Razer Synapse app to reprogram keys, add phonetic shortcuts (second layer), change RGB theme, etc. N-key rollover is used to invoke phonetic shortcuts. For example you can define “idk” as ”I don’t know” and then whenever you press i, d, k keys simultaneously the pre-defined text phrase will be expanded into text. Keyboard chip also scans the key matrix 1000 times per second and features anti-ghosting technology rejecting key presses that never actually occurred. I like key press weights and rates. It’s not linear, initially you need to apply some weight to press the key, but after a certain threshold the key gives up and easily falls down. I have 2 other mechanical keyboards which have linear spring rates and I feel the difference. I tend to accidentally press ‘ctrl’ key with my palm on the other keyboards, but this has that “click-clack” threshold that prevents that accidental press to occur. Keyboard has 3 way switch, to select Bluetooth, Hardwire or 2.4GHz connection mode. 2.4GHz dongle is tacked underneath the keyboard. Keyboard is also fully functional while being charged. It is also quite heavy and doesn’t move around the desk if you type quickly.

   Some notable features of this keyboard: all FN keys have north faced print. Keyboard itself is light and very compact, useful for space saving or mobility, and I personally like the overall style of the keyboard. Somethings I don’t like, the keycaps have a haze or blur at an angle and is only clear if nearly directly over the keyboard. Actuation/travel time of keystrokes feels like an eternity and I’m having to exert some pressure. Overall, it’s a decent wireless compact, but after testing, this isn’t for me.

   These keys are made for the smallest hands in the world. I was going to replace my tenkless wired corsair but these keys are so tiny its ridiculous. The keys also have this weird stickiness to them when you press down. It is a really awful keyboard!

   I like this smaller keyboard. It sounds nice with typing on it. I especially like the colors that shifts from one color to another. I’m using it through connecting via a wire instead of using a dongle or bluetooth. I prefer it this way so that I don’t have to worry about charging it. I only wish that they had a mac app that supports customization through system settings. Seems they only have support for PCs. But I don’t really mind that. Still very good keyboard to me.

   Update 11/24/24: I have not used this keyboard as much as I have used my other two Blackwidow V4 ones, but they both suffer from double typing issues and this one may suffer from the same fate. Despite what I said previously and giving it a 5 star rating, I cannot recommended purchasing this, and I have dropped the score to 3 stars. This arrived packaged very well in very nice Razer box. Inside was the keyboard, a key cap/switch puller, a small manual, and Razer stickers. When I first looked at this keyboard I thought it had a factory defect as it had no typing symbols on the key caps. You could see some symbols in white on the sides of some key caps, but none on top (please see my pictures). It then occurred to me that this is suppose to be a sort of stealthy keyboard. I held it up to the sunlight and I then could see the letters and numbers on some of the key caps but just barely. This keyboard has special key caps where the lower half of the key cap is sort of a tinted pudding style, and the tops have all the key letters and numbers in them, they are just tinted and you won’t see them until it is plugged in and the lights are on. Well, let me tell you, when you plug this keyboard in and the rgb lights come on, it goes from stealth to starship! The lighting is fantastic and everything is easy to see and read. It is very interesting how Razer did this, and how it goes from sort of one extreme to another. The rgb can be adjusted using the function key or Razer Synapse 4 software. I use Razer Synapse 4 as it works very well and makes doing adjustments much easier and faster. I have used previous versions of Synapse, and I think Synapse 4 is the best one yet. I call this a full size small keyboard because that is exactly what it is. For a small 65% keyboard it is compact yet still fairly large. I have a difficult time typing and playing games on some small keyboards, but not on this one. I can do both without issue. I really enjoy the Razer orange switches in this keyboard. They feel great for typing or gaming. This is hot swappable but I would and will not change a thing. You can use this in wired or wireless mode and it supports Razer Hyperspeed for lower latency. It works great however you choose to use it. The wireless dongle is neatly stored in a small compartment on the bottom of the keyboard (please see pictures). This can also be used in Bluetooth mode and there is a small switch on the back of the keyboard where you can switch between the three modes (2.4ghz wireless, wired, Bluetooth). The overall build feels extremely durable. It has the unique stealth ABS key caps which add to that durability. The included USB cable is braided and high quality. I have no cons. This is my favorite smaller sized 65% keyboard and I think it works just fine with a full sized desktop gaming computer setup, as well as a laptop too! I like it very much!

   This keyboard is IT. Coming from a MacBook Pro, I was worried the Razer BlackWidow V4 Mini wouldn’t give me that smooth typing vibe I’m used to, but man, it delivers and then some. The keys feel so satisfying to type on—responsive but not too loud—and setting it up was mad easy. Bluetooth is seamless, and the HyperSpeed Wireless? No lag at all.

   What sold me, though, is how versatile it is. I needed something I could use for work during the day and gaming at night, and this thing handles both flawlessly. It’s professional enough to bring to a meeting without looking extra but still has that RGB sauce to pop when you’re gaming.

   This is hands-down the best mini keyboard on the market. Whether you’re typing essays, coding, or racking up dubs in a game, the BlackWidow V4 Mini is the truth.
