lo tengo usando pocos dias, pero hasta ahora me parece muy bueno, sorprendentemente el software Synapse no me ha dado problemas aun, mucho mejor que el Logitech Ghub que es una basura, en cuanto a facilidad de configuraciones es relativamente facil. No tiene integracion con videojuegos, es decir, que las teclas se enciendan dependiendo la interaccion con el juego por ejemplo las habilidades te muestren el colddown o asi. En cuanto a construccion me parece muy buena, se siente robusta y con buenos materiales, el reposa muñecas es acolchado y muy comodo, sin embargo, la conexion con el teclado es un poco meh, es magnetica pero si quieres moverlo se descoencta. La iluminacion es muy brillante, sobre todo comparado con mi antiguo teclado logitech g 930 orion spark.

Es Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro es un gran Teclado mecánico, no me ha dado ningún problema, tiene unas luces LED preciosas brillantes, donde puedes ajustar su intensidad y además es compatible con Wallpaper Engine lo que permite que los colores de la pantalla se vena en el Teclado y es un gran plus en tu Set Gamer, para juegos el teclado es imbatible te permite configurar macros, tiene una respuesta ridículamente rápida al teclear, el sonido al oprimir la tecla me gusta pero no es silencioso tampoco muy ruidoso (tengo los switch Green Cherry) pero si quires silencio talvez deberías ir por los Yellow Cherry, la rueda de la esquina superior izquierda me es util en programas como Excel, Concepts, para adelantar o atrasar la pista de un video y los botones multifuncionales de la esquina superior derecha también son muy útiles para pasar de una musica a otra en un play list y para subir y bajar el volumen, y para completar este excelente teclado tiene un reposa muñeca muy comodo y que pese a que lo he usado ya 1 año, sigue igual de comodo y acolchonado que cuando lo abri, en conclusion recomiendo completamente este teclado tanto para los gamers como para los entusiastas de la tecnología ciertamente es una compra de la que no te arrepentirás. PD por supuesto el precio es mayor que otros teclados mecánicos, pero para todos los beneficios que da en mi opinión vale completamente la pena.

Update 11/24/24: This keyboard has developed a problem that is unacceptable for something that costs this much, and so soon as it has only been a few weeks. The keyboard double types. It does it on multiple keys and very frequently. This is apparently an issue that is with all the new Blackwidow V4 keyboards. The only solution is to lower the polling rate, and I had to lower mine in Synapse 4 all the way down to 125hz from 1000hz, and it has been ok so far but I am not very hopeful it won’t double type yet again. I got double typing at 250hz, 500hz, and 1000hz polling rates. I do not know if this is a problem with the keyboard or the Synapse 4 software. I have dropped my rating from 5 to 3 becauuse of this. Ok, as you can see, at 125hz polling rate it still doubleed typed, and is doing it again. Dropping rating to one, and recommending not to buy until the issue is solved. I will stop using this keyboard until it is fixed, and will not use any Blackwidow V4 until the issue is solved in all of them.

EDIT: Review below was meant for 75% BlackWidow V4 keyboard. I posted it on this one by mistake. I bought the 75% on Best Buy instead and had forgotten. I’m not sure what’s happening with recent Razer products. But this is the 2nd razer product I buy recently that has been giving me problems. Issues: Double keystrokes, missed keystrokes. The keyboard is connected directly to the PC USB ports and I am having these issues. I have tried with multiple PCs, clean Synapse drivers, same issue, polling rate 1000/500, changing windows settings for repeat delay, to no avail. I had to downgrade back to my Blackwidow V3, which has been working well. I believe the issue relies in the Synapse drivers/interface programming. If razer fixes this issue with some sort of update, we will all appreciate it.I’m not sure what’s happening with recent Razer products. It’s probably well-known by now that you need the Synapse software to unlock a good chunk of features this keyboard has, but did you also know that the incredibly terribly written manual also neglects to mention details like needing to download additional software and offers misleading information? Yeah, neither did I, but after spending 3 hours with Razer technical support I found that to be the case. One hour was spent with an agent who kept putting me on a silent hold and wouldn’t respond and two hours with another agent who put me on hold a lot as she came to grips with the fact that what I saw on my screen didn’t match what was on hers plus needing time to research/request help from people on her end. So, what did I discover? Well, one of the features of this keyboard is creating macros, yes? That extra row of keys on the left-hand side labeled M1-M5? Looking at the attached picture, one would think you press a key-combo (Function + F9), press whatever you want the macro to be, press the key-combo again, then one of the M-buttons, and from now on any time you press that Macro key you’ll repeat what you just made, yes? Nope, that’s not entirely how it works. Oh, you MADE a macro, sure, but the keyboard somehow doesn’t already know how to use it even if you have Synapse installed. No, what you need to do is go to the Dashboard of the Synapse software, click Modules, and download the module for Macro. THEN you can actually use the macro you made. Do you see anything similar to “Download the Macro Module in the Dashboard” in the attached picture? No, no you do not. Minor detail, I suppose, but when giving a step-by-step, skipping the FIRST step is very counterproductive. Another fun little fact is, if you look at the picture, you’ll see key combos for how to change the lighting patterns and colors. Function key + CTRL + a number and you’ll have a different pattern. Press that combo again and you change colors. Seems pretty simple, right? Wrong. Apparently, that’s an EXAMPLE chart…just without the word “Example” anywhere on the page. The second agent on the phone merely referred me to YouTube videos on how to program these in because, I suppose, they don’t have example keyboards and software to use and have to rely on screenshots and knowledge-base articles. I’ve only had this keyboard in my possession for a day, so I haven’t had time to watch YouTube videos on how to decipher the puzzle that is the Chroma Effects. Obviously, since the combos listed in the manual don’t do squat, I have to figure out something else. I even had to instruct the agent on how the Gaming Mode function worked because the manual doesn’t mention that having it “off” in the Synapse software means it is then toggled by the key combo, whereas having it “Enabled In-Game” does exactly that and “Always” means it is literally always on no matter what you do (or until you turn it off in Synapse). A fun bonus was when the ‘R’ key on this brand-new keyboard stopped working for some reason while I was still testing it. At that time, I had nothing programmed and was merely installing the Synapse software. Every other key worked, but ‘R’ just…was taking a break, a nap, or was on hiatus while the rest of the keyboard was still functional. I thought I had a defective keyboard because, let’s be honest, I had a manual telling me to do things that didn’t work so having a specific key not function seemed to confirm something was wrong with it. Shortly after a reboot, the key was working again, as you can tell by the fact I’m not typing in a strange way. I have a word or two for whatever absentminded professor wrote this documentation: find someone who hasn’t used the keyboard before and have them follow the manual you created and see how well it goes. THEN make the necessary corrections before you send it off with the product. I’d use other, more colorful words, but go-keyboard.com would not allow me to actually post this. I’d also advise Razer to provide actual products and software suites for their support representatives to use, so they can accurately answer questions, but something tells me they aren’t concerned with customer satisfaction. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be sending out poorly-written manuals with their products. Razer also has this bizarre obsession with offering to replace products rather than doing anything that can even remotely be called “troubleshooting”, so adjust your expectations accordingly when purchasing ANY Razer products. For example, I purchased a Deathadder V2 mouse over a year ago and contacted Razer regarding cosmetic damage that was occurring because of normal use. Their solution was to use up three weeks of my time by sending a replacement mouse and tape grips instead of just having a way to fix the cosmetic damage. And yes, I know this is not exactly a place where Razer looks for feedback and acts on it, so that’s why I’ve copied and pasted this into a document to send it right to them. I am a simple person with regard to the concept of having proper expectations. If Razer advertises a product can do something, it should be able to do it. If the manual that comes with a product provides instructions on how to do something, following those instructions should work. Finding out that there’s missing information or that the listed information doesn’t work at all does not build consumer confidence or satisfaction. I’d almost know it down to 2-stars for that, but I’m sure the keyboard itself works perfectly fine…though I may adjust my rating and review to reflect that in the future if that changes. Unlike most who say this sort of thing in their reviews, I DO adjust mine. Update: May 5, 2023 – So I contacted Razer “Support” through their site and used the chat function. After describing the problem, the agent immediately jumped to the concept of performing an RMA replacement. As someone who purchased this thing on May 1, 2023, and received it three days later, I’d go through go-keyboard.com if I wanted to do that (which I’m starting to consider). As part of the troubleshooting, the agent suggested I disconnect the keyboard, press and hold Escape+Caps+Space, connect the USB, and let go of the keys afterward. Congratulations! I now have a keyboard in Demo Mode that doesn’t respond to input. I had to connect up another keyboard to look up (and realize) I had to perform the same steps to take it out of Demo Mode. So, not only is Razer “Support” obsessed with RMAing products for trivial things, but they’re also giving out terrible troubleshooting instructions without providing all the details. That knocks an otherwise good keyboard down from 3-stars (due to the documentation and poor customer service) to 2-stars (due to the absolutely terrible customer service). If I wasn’t stuck in a place that literally prevents me from returning this product, at least for the next 15 days, I would be doing so. Instead, I’m trying to unlock the full usage of a product I’m paying for. I’m starting to realize my mistake. To summarize: I need the Synapse software to use macros. I need to turn off/disable the Synapse software to use the Chroma Effect key binds, but then I can’t use macros. Absolutely *Brilliant*, Razer. Note: that was sarcasm. Update 2: May 18, 2023 – The keyboard developed an ADDITIONAL problem: the Control key would randomly act like it was stuck. So, for example, if you held down Control and pressed Escape, the Start Menu would pop up, right? Now imagine it doing that without holding down Control. Now imagine this kind of “undocumented feature” also applied to any other key you pressed. To fix this, I could press both Control keys at the same time, using Alt+Ctrl+Del, putting the keyboard into/out of Demo Mode, or exit the Synapse software. However, if I EVER intend to use Macros with this thing, I need the Synapse software…and that software is causing the problem. I did not intend to spend nearly $300 on this keyboard and insurance just to have to work around poor programming and poor documentation. Razer has seriously dropped the ball on this and I’ve been dealing with 2 weeks of issues. As compensation, they’ve offered me numerous apologies in a template format, which truly shows they couldn’t care less. I’m NEVER purchasing another Razer product and I highly encourage anyone reading this to shop elsewhere. From 2-stars down to 1.

Lovely keyboard with still a fair amount of noise for the yellow switches, i was expecting an almost silent key press. The keyboard wil take a short time to gve used to as my previous had a large enter key and this one isnt as large and i keep pressing # and enter at the same time. Shortcut keys are a nice touch and the 3 macro buttons on the side were a surprise when i accidently pressed them. Think i will have to change the default on those for when gaming!

I really like these keyboard, I utilize the macro keys often, and the three side buttons, and the dials, and the media buttons, I use it all. I make music and edit videos, and code, so they come in handy for ME. That being said, if you don’t think you would use all of those, get another keyboard lol. It is expensive! But it feels worth it to me, I get a ton of buttons, amazing chroma (the lighting features are great) and I like the way it feels. That being said, here are my cons. Some letters like P or O have trouble with the light going all the way through, so you get this dark line in between. If you are a perfectionist this will get you. It doesn’t bother me, but you are paying a lot of money for this thing. The space bar…doesn’t sound as good as the rest of the keys. Somethings off about it, it doesn’t feel as good ether…not sure what happened there lol. That’s it. For the pros, The magnetic rest is PERFECT. My old one would slide around, this does NOT and its so easy to out on and has chroma? So cool, and very comfy. Buttons everywhereeeeee, so many short cut buttons, easy to customize (some people don’t like synapses, idk why I love it. Keys feel good, sound good, and look good.

I love how in many games my keys change the lighting level to white from my static red for the keys that I need to use in game play, like Diablo IV the 1, 2 ,3 ,4 and Q keys light up white. While the rest of my keyboard remains static red with reactive green when depressed. The clicking sound reminds me of the old IBM selectric keyboards. But not nearly as much click as those keys possessed! I upgraded from the first version Black Widow Chroma keyboard. As some of my green keys on that board have become prone to missing a press and require constant attention to whether or not 4 of the keys have properly been pressed in my typing. It really is nice not to have to reread everything that I type for missing A,G, Shift function and number pad 1 keys. I ordered 10 replacement keys from Ali Express that appear to be exact key replacements, but that keyboard does not have hot swappable keys they and their 4-pin diode need to be unsoldered then the new key needs to be soldered back onto the main board. Where if this Chroma Ver. 4 Pro board gets sticky or missing keypresses, a key replacement is just a tug away according to other reviews. I have yet to attempt to pull a key out, yet. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a backlit keyboard. And who requires a clicky key press, make sure you choose the green key option when placing your order! There are plenty of videos on YouTube that show how to use the Razer Chroma Studio software for customizing the full RGB capability of the keys. I recommend that you watch at least one of them to get acquainted with using the keyboards lighting ability.

Had this keyboard since late 2023 and it 2025 early and it’s good. When I bought this not all of the command dial worked on Windows 10 but all 8 work on Windows 11. While all 8 functions work on windows 10 with synapse in the background windows 10, some such Horizontal Scrolling don’t work without it. Also another downside of this keyboard is that it SHOULD NOT BE USED WITH A USB HUB, It will cause double typing and ghosting regardless of cable. This keyboard is running 2000 hz on mine (No reason to run higher but I don’t.) This keyboard is my best keyboard I bought from razer and it’s the yellow switch, I prefer linear. Razer yellow switches are what I recomned I buy from razer as far as mechincal keyboard go, and red low profile for the deathstlker v2. They have no issues on each keyboard I bought. The orange switch is a different story, don’t buy it because the blackwidow v4 75% white is double typing even on 125 hz. I wish Razer would update the onboard memory for allowing command dials to save beyond the 8 defuault fuctions and execute them that way without razer snyaspe but oh well. Last thing to mention, this keyboard is wider then a full size keyboard due to having 5 macro keys plus 3 side buttons. At least all 8 save macros onboard in both standard and hypershfit, but the related keyboard blackwidow v4 doesn’t to m6 only.

I previously had a Corsair K70. I won’t dog on them too bad but, for the price of that keyboard, I would’ve expected higher quality. Instead, I kept having keycaps break during mild gaming. Ultimately, the keyboard met its death via a full cup of soda being spilled on it accidentally. Upon unboxing of this keyboard, the box itself was amazing quality and protected the keyboard despite go-keyboard.com’s AWFUL packaging with an outer box about 3x too big for this single keyboard. Excellent job on the packaging on Razer’s part. The silent keys are AMAZING compared to my clacky Corsair. These sound quiet enough that they won’t be picked up by mics with every single keystroke. THANK YOU Razer for making this an option right out of the box. The command dial is a fancy little thing that I haven’t played with much yet, but as a digital artist, I’m so stoked I was able to set it up to undo and redo things with a simple twist. The volume wheel is AMAZING quality in comparison to the one on the Corsair K70. It has stiff movement rather than being loose and too easy to accidentally change volume. The wrist rest is something I’ve never had on a previous keyboard but I LOVE it. Perfect amount of cushion. My only two complaints would be the lack of backlight on the media keys and the occasional issue with Synapse not recognizing the keyboard which messes with my personalized lighting. All in all, WELL worth the price. Note: I did replace a few keycaps for gaming purposes.

I thought it would be a descent keyboard at first, but then I fully modified it. It was good before, but now it’s amazing. I replaced the stabilizers with Durock screw-in stabilizers, used Gateron Oil King linear switches, and got some custom PBT keycaps. It’s simply a joy to type on, so thocky. The screen is a nice addition too. You can customize it to your heart’s content in Razer Synapse. I’m really happy with my purchase decision.

From the beginning the lights would flicker as the usb cables wiggle and apparently disconnect. Over the last few months (I’ve owned it 7 months) it is mostly dead, and now will not come back at all. Submitted for warranty replacement. EDIT: I cannot emphasize this enough: DO NOT BUY RAZER PRODUCTS. Their customer support and warranty process is like an FBI interrogation. No joke, I have exchanged 9 different emails over 10 days with the invoice, s/n and model, date of incident, video of defective product, photos of defective product. If you don’t reply in 48 hours, guess what?! You start all over with “Mark”. It’s asinine and I will never, ever buy another Razer product and I encourage you to do the same.

This review is for the Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro mechanical wireless hot swappable 75% keyboard. The Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro really is the pinnacle of Razer quality. I have tried and looked at the first generation BlackWidow keyboard and it was an ok keyboard for its time but it does not even come close to the quality of the V4. The cost of this keyboard is high but, it is very high quality. For all of the keyboards I have used and tested, this V4 is the best in my opinion in terms of quality and features. First the build quality is incredible. It feels heavy and solidly built. Every key and switch is precise. There is nothing loose or wobbly. The RGB is bright (adjustable) and evenly lit. The OLED display is bright and customizable. The palm rest and cable are also very well made. The switches are Orange Tactile and very similar to MX Brown switches. These switches do have a tactile bump and sound a bit clicky, but for a touch typist these are a huge plus especially for actual typing work. For gaming, linear switches might be faster and since this keyboard supports hot swappable switches it is easy to replace specific keys/switches for gaming such as WASD but leave the rest for better typing. It is worth mentioning that while the Razer software is good and offers a bunch of features and customizations, it can appear cluttered and confusing and overwhelming. I’m not the biggest fan of Razer’s software implementation. The main software apps are Razer Synapse and Chroma. Those two are the only apps needed to control and adjust settings of Razer keyboards and mice. Do note that certain peripherals work with specific versions of Synapse. For example, there is Razer Synapse 4 and Razer Synapse 3. If you’re adding or mixing different versions of peripherals, I recommend installing the highest version of Synapse because Synapse 3 may not recognize a V4 device, however the higher Synapse version should be backwards compatible with lower version devices. This confusion for me is made worse because, plugging in a Razer device automatically launches the app install. So, if adding and mixing different version devices, I would suggest uninstalling any existing Razer software and then installing the latest version of the software. One slight downside for me is to do with the nature of this keyboard layout and 75% keyboards in general. I prefer to have 1 keyboard on my desk to use for both work and play. For work, I really like having the dedicated keys for page navigation “Home” and “End”. The keys are present and work with the “FN” key, but it slows down typing. The print on the keycap for “Home” and “End are printed on the bottom side of the keycap in a light grey font and in a dimly lit room, can be near impossible to see so I will need a light on until I can memorize the keys without looking. In summary, the BlackWidow V4 Pro is an amazing keyboard if you’re ok with the price. This is not the first keyboard to have any of the features, but I don’t think there is any other keyboard that combines all of the V4 Pro features with such high quality. Alternatively, if the V4 Pro price is a bit too much, there is the non “Pro” version that sells for less and you get most of the features except for wireless and the display screen. Either one is a great choice and will suit any gamer’s needs. Highly recommended!

Description did not say it would be repackage, nor did it say it would be missing the cables. The wrist rest also doesn’t even go to that keyboard which you could tell just by looking at the two of them together. Also nice of who ever packaged it to put it in a large box with no padding so it is probably also broken from being moved around in the box.

Truly impressed with this TKL. Key caps have a really nice texture; not smooth but not rough. The tactile switches have a really great balance as well. The LEDs shine through the keycaps perfectly and have large characters. I even like the wrist rest, very comfortable, although a bit warm and sticky due to the type of fabric. So far, I haven’t found anything to complain about regarding this Razer product (and I usually have something to gripe about with Razer). I do think most of us would agree the list price is staggering, but this keyboard feels great to type with, game with, and have many customization options. Five out of five stars.
