Razer used to be good, now they are garbage. my original blackwidow lasted nearly 10 years.

Decided to spend a little more on a keyboard this go round after I killed my last one (which was a cheap one) by irresponsibly spilling coffee on it. I’m glad I did because this one is excellent. The colors and options you can use to game with it are great. The keys are nicely shaped to fit your fingers and the clickety clack is perfect. Not loud enough that it bothers my husband in the same room but while using it, you know its there. Easy set up. Highly recommend.

Had this keyboard for about four months and it is now manifesting issues that others have reported… repeating keystrokes or keystrokes not registered at all, and it’s getting progressively worse. I will be replacing it with another brand. Not buying Razer again because at this price, I expect quality.

Bought this keyboard early December. I’d say it lasted 3 months maybe before the switches became unresponsive enough for me to really notice how bad It’s gotten. Razer has yet to release any fix, or I’ve not seen any comments form their team about the issues for this product. Feels like planned obsolescence but I’ll be moving away from razer this time.

I’ve owned dozens of Razer products over the years and while some have had their shortcomings, none have been as flawed as this keyboard. I use my keyboard almost religiously for both gaming/personal needs and work and it has caused me more trouble than the heavily worn down Razer Ornata it replaced. Keystrokes go unregistered even after pressing them several times, while some keystrokes are entered multiple times despite a single press. The W key, all important to a grand majority of my Steam library, randomly quits working in an FPS battle where precision movement is necessary to succeed just because I tilted my finger 0.5mm to the side of the key.
Do yourself a favor and skip on this keyboard and go for something made by Logitech or Corsair, this isn’t worth the money or the headache.

First I would like to say that as an old user of Razer products I am very disappointed. As much as the brand is focused on gamers, many people like me use the products to work. We can’t wait long for support
After 2 months of use the C and N keys on the keyboard stop working. go-keyboard.com can’t do anything because it’s already been 1 month since the purchase, so they referred me to Razer’s terrible support. I’m already in 3 emails sending everything they ask me after an interrogation via voice call, and there’s always something else to ask me. Terrible. Last Razer product I bought

I thought my initial purchase was just a bad one as multiple keys weren’t working. Replacement has had multiple keys that if not pressed in just the right way will not register, mainly around the QWE and ASD keys. For a gaming keyboard this is disgustingly poor craftsmanship. Why is my over 10 year old previous razer keyboard that was abused by over a decade of gaming still working better than multiple new keyboards within less than a year?

My Razer Blackwidow Elite crapped out on me after 2½ years.
I decided to replace it with this keyboard. So far I really like it.
It doesn’t have as large of a footprint as the Elite and there us only one cable instead of three. I particularly like the volume control in the upper right hand corner.
Since I already had Razer Synapse loaded up with my Chroma settings just a little light tweaking is all I had to do.
The keyboard has a nice, crisp mechanical feel to it.

The keyboard feels amazing and let’s me enjoy typing, the functionality and customization is amazing. Light weight and a great value. I love the bright lightsbnot too overwhelming and great for my games. Oh and I love the free stickers!

Base of keyboard is nice and solid. No sliding around on desk thansk to that and the rubber feet of the keyboard.
My problem with the keyboard is not anyone’s fault. I did some research into keyboard switches and was looking for which switches required stronger pushing down on because I have shaky hands and wanted to reduce typos. Green and Blue switches were supposed to be the ones that have you push down harder than the rest according to multiple sites. The keys on this keyboard are too easy to push down and I make too many typos. I will have to deal with this since I made an investment in this keyboard which includes 3 year coverage through go-keyboard.com. I miss the Logitech G910.
