This is a fantastic keyboard. It lights up with beautiful colors and its nice and satisfying to use. Loud and clicky just the way I like it. There is one major design flaw and it’s a big one. It’s made of metal. How is that a bad thing. Well it’s wired correct. It’s also prone to zapping you if you have the remote amount of static built up on you. Also its prone to giving ESD damage to your computer. I would get up to use this keyboard and I would get a zap and my computer will shut down. This happens at an alarming rate for me. This is a keyboard that can literally destroy your computer. DO NOT BUY IT!!!

I’m writing this review on the day of opening and first using my X Chroma and that’s after having returned a new one just recently. I got a referb this time around and out of box I’m happy so far. Every key works and responds just like new, back lighting is clear, it was perfectly clean I really can’t tell it’s ever seen a day’s use. I’m hoping my first experience was just a fluke but go-keyboard.com was awesome about it and so I’m going to give it another shot. Just need to see how the durability holds up.
As a gaming keyboard the Blackwidows are awesome no matter which one your chose. I like this one’s raised key design, much easier to clean and has a mechanical appeal. The click is very satisfying when I type space bar is still a lil loose but the new one was like that too, but other wise not a single complaint for the hardware. Software…. can be quarky. I’ll leave that at that.

Amazing Keyboard. Wrote a long review and it didn’t save. Basically it’s perfect from the noise it makes to the Brightness. The only thing I would change is the height just by a little bit but it’s already super comfortable. I ordered used and was doubtful but it’s amamzing and was shipped and came just like NEW. Would recommend buying used if at all possible. It came perfect no scratches; smells new, feels new. Never purchased a NEW ONE but if it’s anything like the ONE DAY used one I bought it’s perfect just slight very slight discomfort when playing for 8+ hours.
