I was sad that Razer discontinued this mouse but was lucky to find these guys who still sell it brand new! Honestly this is one of the better Razer mouses in my personal opinion and it’s always nice to see it in its original packaging brand new.

Most importantly: This product does NOT need batteries whatsoever. It comes with a charge so you can use it wirelessly but the best part is it turns into just a wired gaming mouse when it runs out of its charge. This mouse is amazing and is totally worth the price for the durability, quality and features.
Does require Razer Synapse to change colors but is very easy to set up and use!
A MUST HAVE for laptop gaming especially or if you simply must have a wireless mouse!

I purchased this mouse in May 2018, meaning that as if writing this review I have had it for just over seven months. I absolutely hate it. I have owned mice from all price ranges and types and yet this one, the most expensive one I have purchased to date, makes me wish I had any one of them back. The battery life is laughable. I turned off the lights, and it still dies quicker than any other wireless mouse I’ve owned. It constantly stops responding, even while in motion. It doesn’t matter if it is plugged in or not – it will just stop moving for a few seconds. This doesn’t just happen every once in a while, but sometimes several times an hour. That in and of itself makes it virtually useless for any kind of serious gaming. On multiple occasions, both the right and left click have stopped working inexplicably. If you’re a prospective buyer, avoid it at all costs. Logitech makes $20 wireless mice that are better than this one.

The battery lasted quite a few gaming sessions prior to dying. Feels good and performs great on cloth! Only thing that is a bother is “On The Fly” sensitivity has a huge delay before updating in my screen, therefore I am not sure what the setting is until it is updated. Plugged in, it is immediately updated as I am changing it.

I love the mouse it is small but not too small and the perfect weight. Razer standard amazing customization and stuff are great. I use the wire basically all the time because in gaming the smaller times are important, and I would actually recommend getting the wired one but even the wireless if u have to different computers hook the wireless on to one for easy wire unplug and plug it in when ur ready.

Great mouse and the packaging could survive a zombie apocalypse. It arrived a day early and after four hour charge it has been going strong. On average I go about 4 days before having to charge, and lately it’s been getting a real workout. It replaced my Razer Naga 2014 left handed mouse and I wish they would make a wireless version of that great mouse. Over all I recommend any of the Razer products I have purchased.

I’ve been using the wired version of this mouse for more than a year, and it was the best mouse i’ve ever use in my life.
Recently i got a new job at Silicon Valley, and the company gave me a new macbook pro, so i bought this wireless mouse and planing to use it at work.
After 1 week of use, i notice that there’s two major problems:
1. I’ve setup the functional keys on my mouse, but every morning when i start working, it took around 15 mins for this keys to activate, while the wired version would only need to plugin, and then all the functional keys are there.
2. The battery life could only last for 1 day if the light is “medium”, so you need to charge it very very othen, and when charging it, the wireless function is disabled, so you can’t use it while charging from a power outlet(not connected to computer)
So if you’re a software engineer or anyone who needs the functional keys to be stable, and don’t want to charge it once a day, i recommend you using the wired version of this mouse.

I paid $111.00 for this and I would say it’s worth it. Build quality and aesthetics are awesome like any Razer product and it is very comfortable in both hands. Alsi the gun metal grey is a nice touch.

Note:
Pros: rgb wave on both sides are possible, 4 programmable buttons (different profiles), on/off button on the bottom of the mouse, suitable for either left handed or right, one charge lasts full two days if I sleep only for 6 hrs, mouse pad celebration helps even more.
Cons: reaching to the other side of the mouse in the middle of the game Is kinda hard but with time it settles.

I bought this mouse in June 2021 and within the first month the battery could not hold a charge for over 15 minutes. I used it plugged into usb but the battery completely failed after six weeks and the mouse cannot be used at all.
The return process has been multiple emails back and forth but after several weeks I was given a shipping slip to send in the return. Upon receiving the old unit the Razer team actually gave me an upgraded model as the original unit is not being manufactured.
The upgraded unit works great and is better than this oem in many ways. Trustworthy company if your patient.

*This review is for go-keyboard.com, not the mouse itself*
I ordered the wireless version of this mouse. When I open the go-keyboard.com box, I saw that the box for the actual mouse seemed as though it may have already been opened. As I have not seen the packaging before I paid it no mind. I opened the box and on top was the usual packet with instruction manual and quick guide. Then I went to grab my new mouse, only to find that the mouse looked used. Then I noticed it wasn’t even the wireless version of the mouse, but rather the wired version with the cord cut off. It took me a moment to realize what it was, but the exposed wires coming out where the cord was cut was a giveaway. I immediately filed for a return/replacement. I don’t know how this could have happened. It’s both upsetting and a little funny, but go-keyboard.com should make this right.
EDIT: I received my replacement a day after the original issue. This time it was the correct product. The mouse is great. I used to have a Taipan, and this mouse is the perfect replacement.

Keyboards last me a long time, but mice usually died on me within a year. The first mouse I ever kept for a long time was the Razer Diamondback 3G, which I bought almost a decade ago and only died on me this year.
The Razer Ouroboros has lasted me 5 years so far, with the only caveat that I have to replace the batteries once a year.
This mouse is the most recent one I’ve added to my computer hardware. The Lancehead is comfortable and accurate, and I expect it to last me until around 2028, but if I get even 5 years out of it it’s worth the cost of 5 cheap mice to me.
