   This mouse surprised me. I read so many bad reviews about the mouse itself or the software and I am so shocked that people feel the way they do. Sure the software isn’t the best it could be but it works well and gets the job done. But I’ll say I do not mess with it too much once I have things set how I like. I have been through so many mice over the last year. Coolermaster CM710 (incredible mouse but too small for my hands) Zowie EC2 (very slick and slips in my hands but is a good size. Cable is unbelievably thick and stiff though) Logitech G403 (as a mouse it’s a great design but logitech’s software is miserable and doesn’t recognize the mouse half the time and between two of these G403’s the left click went out within 2mo of playing FPS games where it became incredibly inconsistent in registering the click) Glorious Model D (great mouse overall but the cord got annoying. The Coolermaster cable is similar to this one but doesn’t flail around and land on your hand like this one’s does and even their own mouse bungee didn’t secure the cord as it would slip out of the connector – but great quality mouse) Going through these mice is what led me to finally going with the Razer Mamba. I was ready to get away from dealing with cables now that the wireless tech seems to finally be here and I didn’t want to spend a lot of money as I have spent hundreds on them over the last year and I wasn’t sure I’d like Razer so I wanted to keep the investment minimal. Well, despite buying this at a pretty low price (I believe around $50) it has become a top 3 favorite mouse for me. I know it’s not some super fancy mouse with tons of features but all I really cared about was reliable wireless, forward/back buttons, a nice fit for my hand, not too heavy. So far after about 2 months this has been THE mouse for me. I don’t know a lot about other Razer products but I will say that I will look to their mice before any other brand unless I experience something worth skipping them and so far I’m not seeing that happening. I will update if it does since i’ve only had it about 50 days but so far so great!

   Was looking to retire my 2009 (which I bought in January 2010) Razer Mamba to laptop duties. The shape of this Mamba is more like the DeathAdder Elite that I ended up giving away years ago. It has a more pronounced hump. It feels like a lump of coal as compared to the 2009 version. I believe it is because the shaved cutouts on the bottom center of both sides are gone. Definitely a more ergo shape, but I miss the feel of the 2009 version. I wish they would have kept the two buttons on top left side of the clicker. Although, it took a while to get used to their position, they became invaluable. Battery last way longer. The new sensor is way better. Tracks on all surfaces I have had it on. Wireless performance is also spectacular. Every once in a while the 2009 version would drop. This new one keeps on trucking. My 2009 version is now my travel bag mouse, this new one is now the HTPC mouse. Occasionally I use it on a game here and there, and it fairs well. For the money, best wireless mouse out there.

   This mouse delivers excellent performance and customization options, but I’m only rating it 3 stars due to a frustrating issue — the side grip unexpectedly came off. I’ve never encountered something like this with a mouse before. If there’s any chance of a feature like this failing, I believe it shouldn’t be included in the design. Now I have the inconvenience of super gluing it back on. The fact that the grip detached while I was simply editing a video raises concerns about the overall durability of the product.

   The mouse came in and when plugged in, Razer Synapse pops immediately into your PC. The software is easy to use without any problems, the mouse tracks smoothly as expected of a gaming mouse. Comfortable for me and fits my right hand too. The Chroma lighting of the mouse is also very good, expected of Razer mouses and possibly the best in RGB lighting mouses during the time of purchase as I can see since Razer specializes in that stuff. The price may probably be a little high if there are no discounts to get for you so price-wise it may not be the best mouse for you. It also comes with a manual and Razer stickers, personally I think that the Razer stickers should have not come with Razer Chroma stickers and rather another sticker of their logos or slogan, “For Gamers. By Gamers.” Overall, it’s a super good gaming mouse as I have upgraded from my old Razer mouse. You can also register a warranty for it at Razer’s website of 2 years, if you have any problems then Razer support will handle it. I have used this mouse for a few days and so far no problems anyways.

   Bought this mouse because I wanted to cut some cords and I do spend a good amount of time gamingand Razer is a well known brand in the gaming community. The mouse is not one of those over complicated mice that have about 13 buttons and a sink stuck to the side of it which was perfect for me, what it does have is 2 buttons under the thumb which are SUPER convenient and SUPER easy to press/reach (suits my needs in World of Warcraft perfectly). It has a little but of Chorma light on the mouse wheel and of course naturally the Razer symbol lights up beautifully. Software was easy as 1,2….done, as soon as you plug the mouse in the installer wizard takes off and before you know it you are done. I love I can customize the lights in a dozen or more ways using the software and I can match the lights on the mouse to the lights on my Razer Kraken Kitty edition headset ( I have a pretty fly set up). The material of the mouse is NOT what I had expected it to be, photos are deceiving. Initially I was disappointed I had thought it was made out of that soft touch plastic but it wasn’t but now I kinda like it just the way it is and think it’s a great choice (the soft touch plastic would get greasy/oily/dirty in no time). This mouse is EXTREMELY light weight for a wireless mouse which was a great surprise (I think its only 4 oz) while my wired mouse weighs a ton compared to it. The plastic the mouse is made of can seem like it’s cheap but I assure you – touch is deceiving, it’s a tough – durable mouse that’s overcome with flying colors being dropped, sliding off my table and *drum roll please* a TODDLER harassing it non stop (toddlers are like fish – show them something shiny or color changing and they are hooked). The overall shape of the mouse is underwhelming but that’s not a bad thing, it’s actually kind of perfect truth be told, it fits in my hand so well it’s like I had been using this mouse for the last 10 years and had worked it in already…that’s worth it’s weight in gold in my books.Now time for the bad… The bad… While the mouse is meant to be a wireless mouse there are times it does need to be plugged in (to charge and it does work just as well plugged in). The Razer store page for the Mamba clains it lasts 5 hours however after 1.5 days of use or a full 24 hours the mouse starts to blink red which signifies it needs to be charged. That’s rather fast, much faster than I was expecting. I turn the mouse OFF when it’s not in use so it’s not irresponsible ownership draining the battery. I feel like every time I’m turning around the mouse is screaming at me it needs to be plugged in. I did not enjoy trying to figure out how to charge the mouse – that made me chase rabbit trails. I tried the book, I did’t find what I needed in the book, I tried Google but Google referenced some sort of charging dock which is no longer made or sold, I tried plugging it in and charging it with my apple block I tried plugging it into the laptop and none of that seemed to work (even over night plugged in) turns out it needed to be plugged INTO my laptop and the switch underneath needed to be in the OFF position, such a simple thing you’d think I would have assumed that. Once I clued in it charged like a charm. Last thoughts… I love the mouse despite the poor battery life and the fact I still feel connected to wires. It looks good, feels good and works amazing!! Hands down best mouse I’ve ever bought for gaming and I’ve been gaming a VERY long time (23 years to be exact). I will definitely buy another when this one dies (provided they are still made and sold by that time). To tell you how good this mouse feels I told my husband if I was rich I would buy EVERY single person in my WOW guild (retail AND classic) one of these mice (yes it’s that good imho).

   Buy a Redragon M711 Cobra Gaming Mouse instead of the Razer Mamba you are researching… seriously. I’m using a Redragon M711 mouse https://amzn.to/3UHZCYk right now as I type this follow up to my horrible Razer experience. Save yourself money and time. Don’t but a Razer. Update 7/30/2020: I FINALLY received a replacement mouse (new, sealed retail box) but since I now absolutely hate this company I turned around and sold it on eBay. I lost money in the end but I will never ever recommend a Razer product to any person, ever. Update 7/2/2020: Finally got an email back from support on 6/27 but unfortunately that was followed up with around 5 more exchanges where I had to provide redundant information before finally getting an RMA today and a Fed Ex label. HOWEVER, they have not sent me a replacement or refund yet. No. They will not do that till they receive my mouse and “evaluate it”. This is terrible customer support. I will never ever in my life recommend a Razer product to anyone. Update 6/26/2020: Six days later and no reply from support on an RMA. Update 6/20/2020: Now this mouse has constant issues with double clicks and click and hold. It will double click things on it’s own and I have to try multiple times to click and drag something because it “lets go” of what I’m dragging. Also the software will no longer auto log in when my PC boots even though I have it connected to my Facebook. I’m completely baffled how such a name brand company with a good gaming rep can make such a crap product! I wish I would have returned this mouse! I’ve tried the mouse on other computers as well and it still has these issues, so it is the mouse that’s the problem. I have opened an RMA with Razer, waiting on a email reply. Original Review from April 2020: Previously I had been using a Logitech M510 for many years. Right out of the box I thought the plastic felt a little bit cheap but once I started using it that concern was quickly over shadowed by new ones. I like the feel of the mouse it fits well in my hand and the wireless connection to the computer is perfect except for when the software updates, which bring me to the first negative of this mouse, the software. I have been using the new mouse for about a week now and the software has update itself (which basically means it reinstalls) atleast 3 times, after which it wants to reboot the computer. Despite the constant updates the mouse will still randomly disappear from the Razer Central program, and the reason I know that bring me to the biggest negative of this mouse, the battery life. My old Logitech M510 mouse would last months if not a full year on two go-keyboard.com AA batteries. This Razer mouse lasts TWO DAYS! Even with the RGB lights at 50% and sleep mode set to 5 minutes it is still flashing low battery after 48 hours. It is 100% completely unacceptable for a professional gaming mouse to only have two days of battery life. So now I’m constantly checking the Razer Central software to see my current battery level, when the software works. Another issue I’m having is that the RGB lights still randomly stop working until I reboot the computer, that has happened twice now in one week. There are some positive things about the mouse though. I really do like the feel of the mouse in my hand and the RGB lighting effects are really cool. It also maintains a good wireless connection to the computer and doesn’t drop DPI like my old (wired) Logitech G5 gaming mouse did. I also like the firmness of the click feel and the scroll wheel. In conclusion, I’m really torn on this mouse. I can live without the annoying software on my computer but the battery life issue is completely unacceptable. Do I keep this mouse or return it? At this point I like the feel and function of the mouse so much that I am leaning towards keeping it and just living with the fact that I’m going to have to plug the thing in to charge every other night. I highly recommend though that you only buy this mouse on sale. $50 for a wireless mouse with this many issues is far too expensive.

   If you are a gamer or a fan of Led/RGB lights, this mouse is a must. It is pretty bright and responsive, you can change the sensibility with the two upper button and assign uses for the side button, also the wheel not just let you scroll pages, it also let you move faster across pages, even with out any configuration. You can install Razer Synapse App, but it isnt required to function, only you just get the basic pattern of lights changing, but if you use the app, it let you save some profiles and change with a button under the mouse. The mouse is pretty big but feels amazing in your hand and you soon forget about this. Edit: I will discount one star because the cable isn’t wide/strong enough, like the Kraken Headset, so it tangles a lot.

    This wireless mouse is great for ‘palm grip’ people. My hands are medium-large and it is a very comfy, ergonomic mouse. I use it for work and gaming. PROS Sensor- Tracks great. Small movements seem very precise Switches – Love the clicky switches. Feel very high quality. The side switches are in a decent location for me to use. Scroll Wheel – Great balance of how much force is required to scroll Battery – Pretty good. Good enough for me because I use it all day for work and when I game. I just usually charge every couple days so I don’t have to use the wire. Ergonomics – Fits great in the palm of my hand. I’m sure you can also get a good class grip on this mouse too if you prefer. MEH Software – I’m in the middle of the line of this one. The software works great most of the time but sometimes it can act up. CONS I didn’t come across anything I particularly disliked. The only thing is the wire is specifically made for the mouse so if you lose it/ break it that might be a problem. I believe you would be hard pressed to find a wireless mouse as good as this one for $50. (I payed 53 USD when I purchased mine)

    Tried the mouse out in a few games. The sensor is really accurate. The synapse software has been updated and fixed. You should set liftoff distance to 1 though otherwise, the liftoff is quite high. The mouse is bit on the bulky side so people who like light and small mice (or those with really small hands) might not like this mouse. You can charge and use the mouse at the same time and the mouse has a rechargeable battery which is awesome. Overall, it’s a steal for the price it is currently at!

    I’ve had this mouse for about a year and half and I cannot be happier. The mouse response time is razor sharp! The mouse allows you to adjust your DPI and set up custom shortcuts with the two side buttons. RGB and battery life work perfectly, you can survive on 1 full charge for about 2 -3 days with a decent auto sleep configuration.

    It really fits my hand. Love the colors. Great sensitivity and super responsive. The charge lasts long but using the mouse connected by a cord still aplicable. But the main cons is the compatibility with my Mac. There is no option to set up the tool for binding the buttons since it doesn’t support the new MacOS version.

    I think it works fine, but definitely not better than my old razor mouse. My old one felt a lot lighter and it felt like there was more control when using it. This one feels kinda chunky. I do like that you can make different presets for it and switch back and forth from them. Also maybe I like the sides of the scroll wheel being able to be used. Also I paid 80 and a week later it was around 50! I should have waited and got one later than I did but I really needed one.

    Purchased in January after my faithful death adder elite broke. And it was the perfect upgrade.big side buttons, good quality feel, wireless, nice scroll wheel, and on board memory. All fo just 54 dollars. The perfect mouse that meets all my preferences. I’ve only been had one problem which could be a marketing tactic. The cover for the dongle chip broke. It doesn’t inconvenience me at all but could make you lose the dongle which they sell replacements for at only 13 dollars. The battery is great. It feels great.     After finally wearing out my 5 year old Razer Death Adder I decided to take advantage of the black friday sale they had on this mouse. I like a mouse that is simple and works perfectly. I do not like them to look like a transformer or have a million buttons on it. This mouse is perfect and is exactly what I wanted. This one seems a bit nicer than the death adder and of course includes RGB too! The colors look great! The software is very simple to use and easily downloaded after installing the mouse. I highly recommend this mouse and any that Razer sells. Great products and great prices. Update 5/20/20 Still loving this mouse! Had been working great since day 1 I find it perfect for the games I play mostly first person shooters so I dont need all the extra buttons. It’s very fast and software allows you to adjust it to your liking speed wise. Imho this is the best mouse available for this price range. I personally dont use wireless mouse, keyboard or headset because I cant stand most of them and have had bad experiences with multiple brands. I have never disconnected with this one. Ever. It’s a good mouse for sure.

    Pros: comfortable and good enough battery life. I have super small hands and I use a fingertip grip on the mouse. This is perfect for me. It’s just absolutely comfortable. The battery life is good enough. It lasts about a week and I use the computer more than 8 hours/day. This are the most essential things for me, so it gets 4 stars. However if you really care about RGB and the custom buttons beware. Cons: The software is the worst. I would renounce the rgb if I could at least keep the customized buttons, but you don’t even get that. The razer synapse software is essential to customize everything except the right click, left click and scrolling ball. And that software is awful. You always need to have it running in the forefront and it uses up a lot of resources. The package of the program itself is way heavier than it needs to be. I hate it. As you can see in the pictures, neither my mouse nor my keyboard are synced up and the could be. That’s because I gave up on both of them. I only turn on the software when I really need the shortcuts to debug my code. **the keyboard is a razer blackwidow elite and it has the same issues with the software.

    Overall a great mouse. Had it for a few months now, and I’m really digging it. Razer’s Software, Synapse, is an over the top program. It allows you to do so many things and it’s so easy to navigate with no issue. The tracking on the mouse is amazing, having no problems with the sensor or anything whatsoever. The glides feel fresh out of the factory to this day. However, I will say my hands sweat a decent amount, and this mouse is hard to grip onto while gaming in FPS game or fast pace games, such as Rainbow Six Siege or CSGO. For that, I suggest a honeycomb mouse. Never owned one, but I will see how they stack up against this nice. The wireless option makes this mouse stand against the rest. The Orion yo be able to swing your mouse without snagging cables is amazing. Overall a great, amazing mouse, especially for the sale currently! Pros: – Long Battery Life – Sensor is over the top – Glides are still fresh – Razer Synapse is hands down the best software Cons: – If you are an aggressive or moderate sweater, this mouse might be at times hard to hold onto, but a little soap and water will most likely do the trick!

    The price of this mouse can definitely not be beat. Works great, good battery life, responsive, and was very pleased with my experience from switching to a wired mouse to wireless. The ONE thing that I hate about most mice that I’ve owned and this one is no different, is the rubber grips that they glue onto the sides. Sure, they are good when you first get them. They never stay attached though. The glue just never holds up over time. I’ve been using this mouse for work/gaming for 8 months now and the side rubber thing is no longer attached in one area that my finger rubs a lot.

    If Razer can make anything, it’s for sure a good quality mouse. This is the 2nd time that I have purchased this mouse, the first being from Best Buy. Both have stood the test of time. Overall, this mouse is just perfect. This mouse has some of the most RGB I have seen on a mouse, outside of the ROCCAT Burst Pro. Razer’s software is good and the profiles you can make and overall integration with Alexa can be truly great when it works. The DPI buttons to change the speed on the fly is good, and the corded cable is always great. The two side buttons for browser navigation and gaming are well done and nothing new to mice. Overall, this is a great mouse. It is ergonomic and good for gaming. This is a good buy, especially if you are a fan of RGB and simple design. Can’t go wrong with a modern Razer mouse.

    I wish it had more programmable buttons, but this mouse is still phenomenal. It looks and feels really nice. I love how easily I can change the DPI with the buttons next to the scroll. It moves really smooth, and the cable is long. The rubber grip on both sides of the mouse make it feel secure as well. Definitely a really nice gaming mouse, I highly recommend. Only if you can find it at a discounted price, like I did. I paid $60, but the real price is much higher.

    An upgrade I made for a more wireless set up . All in all great mouse, expect if I would much prefer the deathadder over the mamba. 1) the build quality seems to be falling off which the price doesn justify , the logo is peeling back after two months of use 2) it is heavier than the deathadder thus I rated the ergonomic lower , it doesn’t feel like I get the same comfort as the deathadder 3) the wireless option is great which is why I wanted it, but the power charging see still requires a cable and it does easily run out of power,,, so I kind of left the cable on my desk which defeat the purpose of the wireless feel

    I love this mouse. I thought I liked my other mouse…it was an okay size. When I got this mouse I was like WOW that is MASSIVE…thought it would be great for people with larger hands…I was thinking maybe someone in my house may like it better than me…but now that I have had it for a little while I will NOT part with my mouse. I love this mouse it feels great in my hand and smooooooth clicks and gaming is a dream.     Great mouse. Even better after I paracord the cable and remapped dpi down button to a micro button I installed on the side by the thumb buttons. I use that button as a hypershift button so I can get a bunch more keybinds. I bought this from go-keyboard.com used “very good” listing for $32 dollars and this mouse still had the feet protector stickers on them. It’s pretty much new lol. I’m very happy!

    I needed a new gaming mouse. I thought I was looking for reliability, for something that fit well in my hands as a disabled woman with small hands and that of course had rainbow lights because that’s how you can tell it’s for gaming. I did not realize my parrot was going to fall in love with it just as quickly as I did on first use. The hand feel is great. The response is amazing and customizable which is something I didn’t even realize I wanted until I had it. Now I just have to schedule my gaming for when the bird is napping. New update. If you buy this mouse on go-keyboard.com Razor will not honor their warranty. I am able to register it fine but when it came time to get help I was told “However, after a careful review and investigation with the Warranty team, we’re afraid that your device was bought from a non-authorized reseller (go-keyboard.com Sold Fab4Electronics), which means the Razer limited warranty does not cover the device and makes us unable to proceed with any replacement. We can only hope for your understanding.” which I consider a Razor issue not a seller issue as Razor needs to make clear that they will take any opportunity to not fulfill their warranty
