   I don’t like this item, I LOVE it. First, I am not a gamer, I don’t use this for games. I use it for the programmable buttons for different programs. I’m a photographer and graphic designer. I have profiles for all of my different programs that automatically change when I open the program. So, in Photoshop I have 15 different programmable buttons that I use for different items. I can undo and redo with the mouse, copy layer styles, run actions, basically anything you can use a keyboard shortcut for in Photoshop or any program you can use the mouse for. In Outlook, I have people that I forward a lot of emails to all the time so I programmed one of the buttons to run a macro, when I click the 10 button, it automatically forwards the email to my assistant. I can use different buttons for different people. When editing video, I can do all of my shortcuts on the mouse. However, the item I use the most is the ability to click the scroll wheel to the left and right, so I have copy, paste and cut, all with a quick flick of the scroll wheel. Overall this mouse is amazing. It has a nice charging dock that I just pop the mouse on at night when I leave and I’ve never had an issue with a dead battery, or even a low battery. I also have gaming keyboards for the same reasons. This increases my productivity dramatically, I can’t imagine working without it. Very highly recommended.

   This mouse has been amazing, love its buttons and the ability to custom set up different user profiles in the Razer software. The only problem I have with it is the odd freaks it has from time to time. For example, the mouse will jump on the screen sometimes. I don’t know if it is because of low battery. To fix the issue I have moved the dock away from any routers and sometimes I do plug it in. The issue is not persistence enough to bug me but for the price I paid it does make me question Razer products.

   This item comes with a “brick” of a charging station to recharge the mouse. In order to use the mouse wirelessly, you have to have the charging station connected via USB…essentially defeating the purpose of being wireless. I would recommend this item for desktop computers, but if you have anything mobile such as a laptop then expect it to be a waste of time/money.

   The Feel
   If you’ve used a Razer mouse in the past, it’ll feel familiar. Good grip, easy clicks and a great mouse wheel. The charging dock is hefty which is nice. It doesn’t budge when you put the mouse in and out.

   The Colors
   Great. Really like the the Spectrum Cycling and it’s definitely making me consider getting a Chroma keyboard. A nice setting that I wasn’t expecting was brightness for wired vs wireless mode. I can have it set to Bright for wired mode and Dim for wireless mode.

   Battery
   Still getting use to it so I can’t comment on that. I’ll try to update this later when I’ve used it for longer.

   I absolutely love it, however, I payed for a brand new mouse and I got a used one. I could tell by the scratches at the bottom as well as how beat up the box was I’ve been using this mouse for a few months now, but those scratches and scuffs were there when I got it (I bought this a while ago, I no longer have the box. I’m not complaining because this is still an excellent mouse, but if I payed for a brand new one, I expect a brand new one.

   I really like the design of the Razer Naga, as an avid MMO player for many years now I have grown accustomed to the 12 buttons on my thumb. I had one of the original Razer Naga Epics, it worked well for roughly a year and then something happened with the optical lens of the mouse, I bought this mouse in Sep 2015, I had it about a month and a half when the left click button literally cracked starting from the inner mouse wheel all the way across so the entire left click broke completely off. Of course because it happened 45 days after buying the mouse rather than 30 days after I am past my warranty with go-keyboard.com. I am in the process now of trying to get a refund from Razer themselves, we will see how that pans out, I will keep you guys posed on that. There is no real reason this mouse should have broke like this, I have only been doing some very light gaming in the last month, normally I play a lot more and put more strain on my mouse so it’s ironic that when I have been only browsing the internet and watching movies this mouse breaks in this manner >.> I would recommend this or any of the Razer products but I would warn you to be prepared to replace it in about a year, they normally don’t last longer than that if you are going hard on gaming.

   I’m attaching an image of this mouse after just a couple of weeks of use. While it performs as expected, the finish has worn off in several locations. The grey areas shown in the image are where the black finish has worn off and are not due to lighting. Less than a month after purchase, it looks like a well-used, 5-year old mouse! Not the quality I expect from Razer and for me, it calls into question the durability of the mouse. I’ve been a longtime, loyal fan of Razer products, but this new mouse today looks exactly like the several years old one I just replaced.

    This is by far my favorite mouse! I have owned Razer mouse products for over 6 years and never have I ever had a problem with them. Not only are they absolutely beautiful, but they’re incredibly comfortable and their thumb buttons are easily accessible at all times. It works very well without a mouse pad, gliding nearly friction-less on my desk. I notice no latency when using it wireless, but admittedly, I wire mine for the most part. The colors are stunning… You can choose to let it cycle through all of the colors, or choose your favorite (I have mine to be the same color as my Razer BlackWidow Chroma keyboard :P).The accuracy is impeccable! I had to use a generic mouse until my new one came and dear lord, is there a difference… Speaking of which, Razer’s customer service is amazing! I have rabbits in my home and my rabbit decided to chew the cable that my original mouse came with. I called customer service for the replacement and they were sad to inform me that they don’t sell replacement cords anymore (weird, I know), but! Then she goes on to tell me that I’ll be sent a brand…new one instead! That is really what provoked me to write a review today. I’ve never really been someone to make a post like this, but my God… Such a great product backed by a company that genuinely supports their customers. All I can say is thank you, to Razer, for making products I can stand by proudly. I know a lot of people are probably like, yeah, huge geek here, but honestly… Not really. It’s so nice to see a business that cares so much. I wish getting my Galaxy phones replaced were this easy…

    Synapse is still terrible on OSX. I think we can all agree that a needlessly cloud-based mouse driver (why?) is a bad idea in the first place, but it would be acceptable if it actually worked correctly. I bought this mouse to use on a 2018 i7 iMac, because Logitech’s unifying receiver has it’s own issues and I figured I would give Razer another chance. I had hoped to use this in wired mode, because I don’t want to have to remember to put my mouse in a cradle. This is -supposed- to work that way, but with only the USB cable connected to the mouse, Synapse doesn’t show my device in the config panel. It doesn’t give an error that there’s no device present (so it knows that something is there) but it doesn’t let me configure the mouse at all until I plug the dock in. Once I plug the dock in (instead of the mouse), Synapse finds my device. I had hoped to be able to do my config changes here (DPI, macros, etc) and then just switch back to the wired mode, but that doesn’t work either. As soon as I disconnect the charging dock from my machine, I can no longer do anything with the mouse in Synapse. As another workaround, my thought was that I could just use a second USB cable for the mouse, and leave the dock connected (eating up 2 USB ports for one mouse). Well, that doesn’t work either. With the dock connected via USB, as soon as I plug the mouse into it’s own USB cable it stops working entirely – all lights off, that’s it. So it doesn’t charge (or work) at all on its own cable with the dock connected, and Synapse stops seeing it as soon as it’s plugged in. This is probably a good product for someone but it’s not for me. I had an original Naga a few years ago and while I loved all the extra options for macros, Synapse was a bad idea then and it’s still a bad idea now, and on top of it the hardware doesn’t even work the way it should. After a reboot, the mouse cursor moves at approximately 12 billion miles per hour until the RzUpdater process either responds or crashes and restarts. Most of the time it just hangs, and when I go back into Synapse it’s the black screen of doom again. This would be such a great mouse if the software wasn’t so terrible, but alas I’m once again taking advantage of go-keyboard.com’s return policy on it.

    Says chroma but you have two options . 4 less then everything else chroma . The button lay out is good and much higher then Its previous model . The surface pads on the bottom are not great . I’m using a hard surface mouse pad and I keep snagging on the surface . Also the connection cuts out way to much . Playing games like r6 where every movement counts it’s really annoying .
