   I took the chance on a refurbished one and was disappointed. It says the device is malfunctioning when you plug it in and it doesn’t light up at all. It arrived with a white residue on a few of the keys, perhaps from them cleaning it, and the box it came in was crushed flat with nothing inside the box protecting the keyboard.

   It’s a nice keyboard from a nice brand for a nice price. Don’t whimper just buy it! Great cost benefit. So far no problems as far as performance. The only downside I see (which is shared with any other gaming keybord) is that it’s just a little clicky (noisy) for my taste. However it’s relatively quieter than other gaming keyboards (mechanical ones). Overall it is a great purchase, I really love the wrist rest. For the price it’s totally worth it. Go Razer!

   Bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it! It works very well. The keys don’t stick but spring back very quickly which allows for her fast typing . Would purchase again.

   Tech support was not helpful because the potential for antivirus to inhibit installation was not mentioned. I did not want to perform the complex system maintenance tasks recommended by tech support to aid the installation and operation of the synapse software. so. I tried temporarily disabling my antivirus life protection and it installed correctly. I reenabled my antivirus life protection feature and the software continues to function correctly.

   the keyboard itself is awesome. comfort is the main asset to its design. the colors are delightful. I bought a renewed model because it was within my budget and my keyboard was severely worn.

   I purchase this used under the there the condition that it had been refurbishing was ‘like new’ according to the description.. It arrived in the manufacturer’s box rather than a proper box, the box was opened, wasn’t even sealed, keys all scratched up and paint missing. Now it’s going right back to the seller.

   Great keyboard, good design. Not as nice as mechanical but at this price point it’s awesome. Mine got sticky keys after a month of use, apparently due to a hair got into it. See my video attachment.

   The keys have a clicky mechanical feel, but aren’t super noisy. The colors are great and customizable. The wristpad is quite comfortable. Very happy with the purchase! I expect it to last like Razer products normally do. We actually own 3 of these keyboards now.

    I am not sure if I would like this keyboard as much for gaming as I do typing. I ordered the one with Razers “Brown” switches and it is easily the best keyboard I have ever used. It is the perfect amount of force used to initially push down the key and has a satisfying click noise which gives it a mechanical feel. But you still have the bottom end “mush” of a membrane keyboard. Because of that I am not sure if I would like it so much for gaming vs my keyboard with MX Blues. I purchased this because I love Razer products and I needed a backlit keyboard for work. The RGB is easy to use and has plenty of options, but I keep it at static color so it looks “professional”. I opened it up at home before bringing it to work and let my wife give it a go. She loved it so much she wanted one for herself, but it doesn’t come in white and won’t match the rest of her peripherals in her office haha.
