   I have a Corsair K95 RGB platinum where the keycaps had the shift characters below the non-shift characters. I mostly touch-type except for the more esoteric keys, and I inevitably got the wrong one when I was coding, hitting the = rather than the + or vice versa for example. Therefore I wanted to replace the keycaps with ones that had the shift characters on the top to the right of the non-shift characters. (This keyboard has the LED at the top of the key switch, so anything towards the top is brighter.) There is an OEM solution to this available, but they are expensive and as I would only be replacing those few keys, I didn’t want to waste money that way. I saw these and they looked fun, but I am considering returning them for the reasons below. The Good: -Corsair has a non-standard bottom row on my keyboard. You have to get a bit creative mixing and matching on the lower row, but you can fit all the non-standard keys except the spacebar. There is a video where you can cut the spacebar to fit, but I didn’t want to do that as it wasn’t that important to me. -The surface of the keys feels nice – a subtle rough texture. -The keys being black without letters when not lit is kinda fun The Bad -The keys are a LOT less bright than stock, and they get dimmer as you view them at a greater angle than from looking directly down on them. In office-level lighting, this means that the keys are significantly harder to read since the more light you have, the less the LEDs can compete. Under very bright light at a natural angle, they are quite dim. That is the first picture. The second one is what they look like from straight above in the same light. -The translucent sides are a grey color. Don’t expect pudding bright light from the sides. It has about the same light around the key as the stock ones that didn’t have translucence there at all. The Neutral -Most of the F keys have a white icon on them that corresponds to functions on a Razer keyboard. They are irrelevant to my Corsair, but meh. Overall, if you really want the dark aesthetic and are willing to have dimmer keys and a non-matching space bar, this will work for your K95. For me, the practicality of using the keyboard for non-gaming purposes outweighs the aesthetics.

   My former keyboard had PBT keycaps, and I switched to a Razer Huntsman Elite for a number of reasons. The one trade-off is that I’d no longer have those PBT keycaps, instead having to use ABS keycaps. ABS keys “shine” from your finger oils quickly and, over time, the font can wear away. Razer has a habit of using a non-standard bottom row too, so finding an appropriate PBT keycap replacement set would be even more daunting. Until now. Razer just figured they’d do it themselves, in a set for $30 that includes: US keys, UK keys, standard bottom row keys, non-standard bottom row keys, AND a keycap puller. For $30. That’s nuts! The same thing without different language keys and different bottom row keys can run $40 to $50, such as what Corsair offers! Now, these PBT keys don’t shine the brightest, and the keycap puller isn’t the best (you’ll notice I’m using my own), BUT that’s easily forgivable. I wasn’t particularly fond of how bright the ABS keys shined before anyways. Additionally, these keycaps have shine-through for the alternative keys on the number keys along the top row, which the Huntsman Elite lacked before. That was another thing that drew me to this product. All-in-all, I love this keycap set. For $30 it’s an amazing deal, a surprising one too, since I’d expect Razer to charge more of a premium. You don’t even need to use these keys with a Razer keyboard either, the versatility of the set means you can use them on other brand keyboards or custom ones. Just make sure they have a cherry-mx style connection peg! (when you pull your keys off you should notice something that looks a bit like a Lego Technic axle)

   Firstly, my camera doesn’t do the Razer doubleshot PBT keycaps justice. My gaming room is entirely black and has low light, so it’s difficult to get clear images. So, the pictures which accompany this review should be used more as a rough idea of what they look like in person. With that out of the way…. I couldn’t resist buying the Razer PBT doubleshot keycaps for my Razer Black Widow Elite. Although the OEM ABS keycaps were virtually brand new (just purchased the BW two weeks ago), the thought of completing the “experience” with the Razer PBT keycaps was irresistible and I’m glad it was. The feeling of quality the Razer PBT keycaps brought to the Razer Black Widow Elite (which was already amazing) is something I can easily recommend to anyone considering a purchase. The positive are plentiful here. Razer really made a pro-consumer move with the way they handled this. Not only are you getting some of the highest quality doubleshot PBT keycaps out there on the market, you get the non-standard and standard bottom rows, plus the US/EU layout, stabilizers and a key puller. Considering the quality on display here, (in my opinion) Razer could have easily charged $60 for this set. Now, onto the details. The Razer doubleshot PBT keycaps have an amazing balance between textured and a smooth finish. I ordered the classic black, so the shine through was perfect with absolutely no bleed through. The characters were surprisingly sharp and I have to say that impressed me quite a bit. Seriously these are some of the best characters in terms of crisp lines I’ve seen on PBT and the RGB shine through was superior to the standard ABS keycaps which come with the Razer Black Widow. These are some seriously durable feeling PBT keycaps, you can really feel the quality with each actuation and bottom out. The audible difference between the standard Razer ABS and the Razer PBT was quite noticeable and truly heightens the experience for mech lovers. It’s a beautiful thing. Installation was a breeze overall, but of course a bit time consuming. Which is to be expected. Installation took roughly an hour and a half, but was self explanatory. Remove one ABS key, replace it with the PBT counterpart. Repeat. Literally everything was nearly perfect, but with one misstep. The one con. The stabilizers for the spacebar leave room for a bit of wiggle. Nothing to be alarmed about, but I did notice it when I purposefully wiggled the spacebar to test. I would love to see Razer include a better suited stabilizer specifically for the spacebar in the future. Aside from that one minor grip, every other stabilizer included performed well, ensuring a stable downward actuation. So, in closing, if you’re on the fence as to whether or not it’s worth the investment, don’t hesitate, because it’s with every penny and the upgrade is superb!

   I was looking for a set of keycaps that would fit an all-black aesthetic for my keyboard, but would allow the RGB to shine through whenever I type. I saw these and thought these would be perfect. After assembling them on my GMMK pro, I am 50/50 between finding the keycaps satisfactory and wanting to return it to buy a different set. Pros: For ABS keycaps, they feel surprisingly good. I don’t like my keycaps too smooth, so the textured feeling is a plus for me. And when the RGB lights are off, the keys definitely fit the all-black aesthetic I’m going for (barring a few custom keycaps I plan to add to the arrow and side keys). When the RGB is on, the light shines through the transparent bottom outlines of the keys. Cons: Like Steven Ouellette pointed out, the RGB lights don’t shine through *enough*. Even from a top-down view, I can barely see the keys. I don’t typically need to look at the keyboard when I type, so if I can’t see the keys with the RGB lights on this is mostly fine for the letters. But I would’ve liked to have the ability to see the number row keys, since I haven’t memorized where the special letters are located. So on the GMMK Pro, the keycaps don’t completely do what they were designed to do. I may try to buy a set of clear switches to see if that helps, but right now the lights don’t shine through to illuminate the keys at all. If the keys aren’t going to light up, I might as well just have bought a set of all-black blank keycaps and even go for PBT material for the same results with the added benefit of stronger keycaps. Overall: Personally, I’m keeping the keycaps for now because the hassle of returning the product and buying another set of keycaps isn’t worth it. But I’m definitely disappointed that the keycaps don’t let the RGB lights shine through as much as advertised.

   The keycaps are good if your looking for a good pudding keycaps. They’re not perfect. They do shine through very well. I have the mercury option and now this one. I ever since I got the mercury ones, I’ve always been curious about the black ones for a black set up. The unfortunate part is that this is my office job set up. So I do need light on my office space and be able to see the keys if I’m not able to type properly or coworker needs to write on the computer. (Skill issue, i know) Con: keys are more visible from on top of the keyboard (so no slouching on the chair i like i do) and is most visible from a darker room. Pro: they sound good. They look good when there’s no RGB for Aesthetic and build purposes.    I bought these keycaps to replace the original key caps which came with my Razer Blackwidow Elite Keyboard. Upon opening the box, I was greeted with four sets of keys. Three sets of standard keys and one set of non-standard keys. The non-standard set are for Razer’s 60%, mini & ten keyless keyboards. However, some of Razer’s full sized keyboards have a couple of non-standard keys on the last row, so you will need some of the non-standard keys. Replacing the key caps was as easy as pulling off the key cap, either with the enclosed key cap puller or your finger (although this may make your finger sore by the time you pull all the keys off) and putting the new ones on. After replacing the key caps, I found that these phantom key caps have a different feel when typing compared to the original key cap. I prefer to type on these key caps, it gives a more satisfying “click” sound. As far as the material goes, these key caps are made from ABS plastic and the legends (Letters, number & symbols) are laser engraved into the key cap. Also, the bottom half of the key cap is translucent, allowing the RGB to be a bit more subdued. In addition, this translucent layer causes the RGB light not to bleed out as much in comparison to the original key caps. The only minor issue that may put some people off from buying these key caps is you can actually see the double layer. In conclusion, these key caps are a worthy upgrade if you are looking to customize your Razer keyboard.

   Got this set for my Razer Blackwidow V3 Pro and I love it! This keyboard uses optical switches, so you don’t need the mechanical parts in the box. There’s 4 trays with all the keys, the 4th is for smaller keyboards, so if you have a full size like me, just start with tray 1. The instructions don’t really specify that, but it starts with the ESC key and goes left to right, row by row. So, you can pull off just about every key without worrying about putting a key in the wrong space. They’re really easy to pull off and replace, however the space bar and larger keys are a little tougher to get off. They key puller is kinda cheap, it doesn’t grab the larger keys that well, but if you get surrounding keys off, you can get the larger ones off with your fingers. Razer has a couple YouTube videos on replacing keys, but most show mechanical keyboards which use little stabilizer bars, mine doesn’t use those. These sound a little softer than the original keys, which is fine for me, some my not like that. They function just as original since they’re Razer keys so there’s no sacrifice in responsiveness, looks, or size. Plus, for the price, I would definitely recommend these for any optical switch upgrade!

    I spent a long time debating on if it was worth getting new keycaps from Razer. I looked elsewhere but kept coming back to the PBT and Phantom ones because they’re obviously branded and I knew they would work with the Huntsman Elite. Off the bat, these are much better feeling than the ABS which I’ll say out right is the most important aspect of keycaps to me. You’re likely someone who can type without looking if you’re looking at upgrading keycaps so the appearance and brightness of the keys should be secondary, and these feel great having a PBT feel, with a very unique look. That being said, I feel the move decision to make an invisible font when the backlight isn’t on hold these back. Like other reviewers have said, if you dim certain characters, it can be hard to see these from a typical typing angle and the font is “hazier” than the stock ABS Razer keycaps as a result. The translucent sides are nice but you can see the switches underneath when the lights are on as seen in the picture (maybe you’re someone who likes to show off their colored switches though) I thought these things would bug me but these keycaps have really grown on me. Again, I’m more for the feel rather than the look, but despite its downsides, these are well built, unique, great feeling keycaps. And I would like to think the fonts are more consistent than the PBT keycaps on here. When looking at the lights from the top where the light comes through best, I don’t see any keys with uneven lighting, it’s only the angle that makes the lights look strange. Those are a few concerns I had before buying that did still concern me when I applied these keycaps, but overall, these are fantastic caps for the price and after a few days, I couldn’t imagine going back to regular PBT, despite being able to see the switch. The key coating feels like it’ll last a while as well but I will update. Would definitely buy again. Thanks for reading!

    Purchased these to replace the OEM keycaps on my Razer Huntsman Elite. They are much higher quality, and feature a textured surface rather than the slick glossy surface of the original caps. Replacing them is easy, as Razer provides a key puller, and stabilizers. The Doubleshot PBT Keycap upgrade set is laid out in a line by line, top to bottom pattern to make it easy to remember which keys go where. Start with the “esc” key and move your way right, going down a row and back to the far left when you hit the end of a row. The only exception to the above rule is if you are using a non-standard layout, which the Razer keyboards are considered “non-standard.” In that case, start the same way, but you will deviate for the last row, using the modified keycaps which are slightly different size from standard. The weight is about the same as the standard caps, and they function the same. Overall, great quality and good texturing. Would recommend. Picture layout; before/after with lights, before/after without lights, and the final pic is a close up of the old on top, new on bottom, to show texture differences.

Cabo USB não encaixou bem teclado e tive que usar força pra conseguir encaixar . Bons adaptadores, Tem caracteres de idioma americano e inglês. Pior é preço alto por preto com caracter luz fraco. Serve só para quem gosta de escuro com caracteres baixa luminosidade.
    Faltou explicar detalhes que não ilumina forte e sim fraco.

    This kit comes with everything I needed for the aforementioned Black Widow model. I bought this kit solely because of the fact that it has illuminated special characters on the number row. Why these aren’t illuminated on the included ABS keycaps is beyond me. I would say it’s a conspiracy to entice you to buy their aftermarket keycap set, except that Razer isn’t the only manufacturer that does this (My Logitech G512 is the same way) I think I expected these caps to be somehow (more) different than the ABS caps that came with the keyboard but they seem pretty much the same. I hope that the material is more durable than ABS (as it’s rumored to be), because my WASD keys tend to get shiny after a few months of use with my other keyboards. With that being said, these caps do have a slightly different texture to them; the difference is slight but noticeable. They also alter the way my keyboard sounds slightly when used side-by-side. I like the sound better but it’s tough to describe (heavier, denser maybe, and slightly quieter?). There are YT videos that show comparisons between them if you’re really curious. I noticed some other people mentioned that they had trouble getting their spacebar to clear on the black widow. I don’t know exactly what model they were using but I had no trouble. One possible reason I could foresee is the orientation of the stabilizer clips on the back of the keys (see photo). The clips are not centered, and the “long side” should go toward the top of the key. Also, some of the keys on my keyboard had stabilizer bars with an indentation in them to allow clearance around the key switch, you’ll need to be careful to make sure your stabilizer bar is oriented the correct way as well. As others have noted, the keys are dimmer on the LED shine-through. I think the reason is the double-shot molding process on these PBT caps are evidently different than with the ABS caps. If you look at the back of the caps (see photo), the translucent plastic in this key set is only in the stem and top of the key, and the ABS keys have a translucent base throughout the entire cap. There could be a manufacturing reason they are done differently, but I’m almost certain this is why the PBT caps aren’t as bright. The difference isn’t the end of the world to me. I was only operating my keyboard at 50% brightness with the ABS caps because they seemed really bright to me, and now i have to turn it higher to achieve the same level of brightness.

    i like the slightly matte texture of the top of the keys, but being double extruded to get the phantom effect for the bottom, i was hoping that the translucent part would be more glossy than matte. On a 250 dollar Blackwidow Pro V4, you get a little more light from the RGB but it doesnt penetrate the translucent part as much as it would if it was glossy. Pictures attached.

    I have the Razer Huntsman Gears of War edition keyboard and am in college for Computer Science. Like many others, I needed a keycap that had all the characters illuminated so I don’t need to search around for keys as much when coding. I liked the phantom keys because of the clear bottoms and that the letter is on the underside of the key so they shouldn’t get messed up after using them a lot. Both of these things ended up being not the best for my keyboard. The original keys (in my first picture) have white on the underside so the led light reflects off of them well and is considerably brighter than the new keys. With the led on my switches being at the top of the key only the top half of the new keys light up well. The letter being on the underside also makes it dimmer and a little less sharp than the original keys. Those are my main gripes with these keys. Overall I am happy with the phantom keys. I really like the feel of these keys but time will tell on the durability of the coating. They also accomplish the purpose I was looking for of having all the characters lit. But maybe consider getting the PBT keys or something else if you have a keyboard with the led at the top of the switch.

    Wrong keycap – one missing and one duplicate Poor injection molding. I expected more from Razer. Cons The 7 key for the num pad was missing. Instead, I got an extra pg dn key. Several of the keys had a dark spot on the shine through. This was caused by poor injection molding on the backside. Pros The outer surface is great. Shine through is good. Seems sturdy.

    I have this 2018 razer blackwidow v2 that i bought 5years ago. It’s still fully functional but it’s pretty dirty and the keycaps were starting to fade and crack. Plus the oem material is a dirt and oil magnet. Oem keycaps are also noisier than when I bought them. I was on the fence to buy the latest blackwidow but it will set me back $200+ and I stumbled upon this product. I watched a lot of yt vids and it convinced me to try this razer phantom keycaps replacement. This forced me to clean my keyboard before switching the keys and the package also included replacement for metal braces and plastic hooks especially the ones for space bar that I lost. Also I saw a review saying the letters are blurry with rgb but that’s only true on video, not when you are actually using it lol. It’s very easy to install and it comes with a tool to remove the old keycaps. I was very happy with the white keycaps on black keyboard and it breathed a new life on my 5yo blackwidow v2. It’s like a bnew keyboard and much more quiter in a very good way. The rgb pops more than ever and the material is very good. I initially wanted to go for the hyperx pudding but according to reviews, the spacebar wont fit and they don’t vome with extra metal braces and plastic hook links for longer keycaps. Glad I tried this product. LOOKS BETTER, FEELS BETTER, SOUNDS BETTER, AND LIGHTS UP BETTER FOR ONLY $30. Only con I can see is that they don’t provide the hotkeys on the left most corner of my keyboard so I randomly used the extra ones they provided.

    I have a hexgears supernova keyboard that came with flimsy, cheap ABS keycaps. Besides being the normal thin, shiny ABS – they also werent moulded very well so they came off of the keys pretty easily (some of them) Unfortunately for me, that keyboard has a non-standard bottom row which made finding PBT keycaps difficult. Luckily razer keyboards have the same non-standard bottom row and razer produces these keycaps. These should fit if you have a 6.0 or 6.25 bottom spacebar. Note that the keycaps did include multiple keys for the bottom row (2 space bar sizes) so these keycaps should work even if you have a standard-size bottom row, which is nice. As far as the caps themselves. They feel good and are of high quality. Didn’t notice any defects in the caps where they were moulded, etc. They have a nice matte texture and definitely “feel” better to type on and have a slightly lower-pitch sound when they bottom out. I’m not a huge fan of the font razer used, but I can’t dock it for that since it’s personal preference. 4 stars instead of 5 because the letters are kinda “fuzzy” and they don’t seem to allow light through as evenly as the ABS caps. They block quite a bit more light so they don’t get as bright either. All in all, I didn’t have many options for PBT caps for my keyboard but these work and are high quality at a fair price. No complaints.

    If you have the Razer Huntsman Elite, these may not be what you want. it was honestly really nice because I hated how the secondary symbol on the number keys was never visible, and this helps it become visible. That being said, the intended purpose of an under glow doesn’t really work on this keyboard, since the light is only on top of the button, not on the bottom of it. Also, I don’t know if this is just me, but the lettering looks kind of fuzzy. It’s not super crisp like the normal keys look. Specifically from an angle. If you’re looking for that all around under glow, I think that’s not even possible with the Huntsman elite.

    I bought these to spruce up my keyboard a bit, but also because these keys have the shine through markings for the secondary key functions. Installation of the letter keys is a snap. Use the key puller to remove the original keys and then just press in the new ones. The larger keys like the spacebar, enter and shifts take some patience to install. These keys require the stabilizer bars and getting those attached to the key and the keyboard is a bit difficult. After typing on these keys for a few days, I really like the texture of the keys. They are not smooth like the originals, they have a slightly rough feel to them and don’t start looking shiny after use. I hesitated buying these at their original price of $30, but when they went on sale for $12 they’re a bargain. Having used them now, I’d say they are totally worth the $30. It’s just a shame Razer doesn’t include them when you buy the keyboard given the high costs.
