for me took some getting used to, but is an awesome peripheral for those who like to spread out their hands. more ergonomic solution for gaming IMHO

I have been using these since Nostromo and this one is a nice improvement. I love that they took out the scroll wheel and put in another button, way more useful.
My only complaint is the thumb button below the thumb pad (defaults space). The old setup was better, this thing is flimsy and because it sticks out as it does it is forever hitting the side of my keyboard and then doesnt get pressed when I press it.

It will take some time for you to get used to, but it is a great device to use instead of a keyboard. The joystick is useful and great to use, plus the space key is placed really well. Nothing to complain about.

The Tartarus is a really nice gaming peripheral. I’ve used it on games such as World of Warcraft, WildStar and Batman: Arkham Asylum. It has a very comfortable feel and is highly customizable. On games with limited action buttons, like Batman, this is a powerhouse. The braided cord and ergonomic layout are wonderful design aesthetics.
The downside for me is that the thumbstick is very finicky when bound to movement keys. There isn’t a smooth transition or feel to movement when assigned to ADSW and really throws a wrench in the gears with strafing. On games with more complex, or just tons of, action buttons this device can be limiting. Having a modifier is all well and good, but if there was a more solid solution for thumbstick movement / strafing you wouldn’t have to sacrifice some of your action keys for movement.
Overall I really like this device. I think the 15-key grid is a nicer setup than the 20-key grid on the Orbweaver. I just hope they can improve the movement and dynamic actions in the future.
