- The Razer Tartarus V2 keypad is designed for gamers who want more control over their gameplay. With 32 programmable keys, including an 8-way directional thumbpad, this keypad provides a customizable layout for quick access to frequently used commands.
- The keypad uses Razer’s Mecha-Membrane technology, which combines the soft, cushioned feel of a membrane switch with the tactile feedback of a mechanical switch. This provides a comfortable typing experience that is ideal for extended gaming sessions.
- The Chroma RGB backlighting on the keypad allows you to customize the color and lighting effects of the keypad to match your setup. Choose from 16.8 million colors and a variety of effects, including static, spectrum cycling, breathing, and reactive.
- This is fully programmable with Razer’s Synapse software. This allows you to create and store multiple profiles, each with its own customized layout, macros, and lighting effects. You can even use the software to synchronize your lighting with other Razer Chroma-enabled devices.
- The keypad is designed for comfort and durability, with an ergonomic wrist rest and durable construction that can withstand heavy use. The keypad also features anti-ghosting technology, which ensures that all of your commands are registered, even when multiple keys are pressed simultaneously.

The product was damaged and I didn’t have the opportunity to use it. It did feel very ergonomic and the settings seemed pretty good. The biggest thing is this product is no longer supported. You need a previous version of Synapse which won’t support any new Razer products.
Customer service did help a lot so the frustration wasn’t too bad.

I’m not using this device for gaming at all – just exclusively with AutoHotKey to fire off automation. The nice part about this device is that it just plain works. Little-to-no tinkering required to get it to work. It’s consistent. However, it is expensive considering what it does. You can tell they skimped on the quality of the RGB LED’s; there just aren’t as many VISIBLE differentiations as you might believe there are. The software allows you pick TONS of color, but when you send those to the device, you can’t really pick up subtleties. There are only really about 12 or so colors that you can use that are noticeably different.
All that being said, if you’re looking for a super easy “kind of an extra keyboard used for shortcuts,” this is your pick.

Its pretty handy but it takes a while to get used to it. I have a small hand so this is a better option for me compared to the tartarus version that have no adjustability . Speaking of adjustability, as I said before; i do have small hands so this is still kind of big for my hand if i want to rest my palm on the wrist/palm rest that this have.I wish there is a white variant to match my set up because its sticks like a sore thumb.

I bought this because I can’t find a comparable device so I am stuck with this POS company (Razer). I cannot tell you how many devices that I’ve had to replace because they’re made so cheaply but nevertheless, I started back when Belkin owned this model (n52te) before they sold out to Razer and I have too many hours on it to give up now.
Anyway– This is yet another one that I am replacing. It is a RENEWED (refurb) so it came open box. Looks clean, seems to work fine. Will use it till it breaks and then I am sure I’ll buy another one once it does though I’m always looking for someone else to make a better one so I can leave this junk in the dirt!

The orbweaver is a good keyboard but due to the adjustable components there are tracks that have some play to them, specifically the part your thumb utilizes. Realistically during gaming it stays rock solid until you hit the lower thumb button (it just shakes the whole thumb section a little). Amazing to use otherwise and satisfying switches

Love this product.
I really never need a full keyboard for gaming.
Having a small set up is amazing.
And it’s more comfortable then a full keyboard.
Plus having more convently placed buttons gives a nice edge in gaming

I’m liking it a lot so far. It does feel ergonomic for sure, but I know hand sizes vary, so that may not be the case for everyone. However, it seems to fit well. I don’t know that much about games like Minecraft or MMORPGs that may need a lot of keys mapped for specific functions, but for me on FPSs and RPGs (Resident Evil, Red Dead 2, PUBG, etc…) it works pretty well. The only gripe I have it that the joystick is not rubberized at all. Moving forward and backwards is half decent, but your thumb will slip off moving left and right half of the time. I just use it as a D-pad at the moment until I find a solution. Other than that I very happy with it.

Long time World of Warcraft player. Was looking for a better way to play and this controler delivers. Easy to use. Easy to set up and easy to customize to your game style.

bought for the analog stick as im a controller gamer trying to use a mouse without wasd. its not an analog stick at all. it’s loud clicking on the dpad. everything else felt fine and ran well. return accepted with no issues. so if you just want a nice left hand unit and want a multitude of things you can map to your thumb or to use a dpad its great.

Great gaming hardware, super stylish and fits my hand perfectly… too bad because the synapse softwear ruin everything.

My thumbs are bad from years of working with small cabling, so any remotely unnatural hand position spells a week of pain for me. This is the closest thing yet to helping me be pain-free when gaming. Everything rests comfortably and the travel distance is very small, which is great for me. Very happy with this peripheral, but don’t download the accompanying software. You don’t need it to run the unit and it’s a major resource hog.

Better than the original. Gotta have it for pc gaming . This is for anyone who is afraid of pc gaming because of playing on a keyboard , with this and a mouse you have so much more gaming control with a comfort that almost makes it feel like you are cheeting. Way better than those flat ones that say they are the best for gaming..
