   TLDR: I have had 3 keyboard replacements, all of them have had different issues from being manufactured poorly, Razer support does not know how to effectively handle complaints from their customers or know how to fix their mistakes. This keyboard is unreliable. Don’t choose Razer, find Logitechs equivalent keyboard. Man it seemed like this would be the perfect keyboard. It’s one of the only wireless LED keyboards with a keyboard and mouse all in one! I got it and it worked well for a month or two with no complaints . Then the nightmare started (still going through it). To preface, I have had to send my keyboard back twice already through the warranty, and am currently in the process of returning it for a 3rd replacement. RAZER SUPPORT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. THEY WILL DO NOTHING ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR YOU. My first keyboard started to have problems with the mouse and the keyboards connection. I would move the mouse and it would stick in the screen in my movement and then continue on as if nothing happened. The mouse was sticky on the screen, and the keyboard frequently reset itself and would glitch on letters when I would type and repeat them (for examplllllllllllllllllleeeee). This became EXTREMELY annoying for gaming as this would make my characters move in unwanted directions and ultimately kill me (imagine a premium $250 gaming keyboard not allowing you to effectively game). I tried using it on different laptops, computers, and Xboxs. This was clearly a manufacturing error. So I started the return process though my warranty. They allow you 2 different options. A standard (you ship the keyboard to them, they replace it if they deem it necessary, and then ship it to you 2 weeks later) or an advanced (you buy another keyboard from them through a quote they give you, and they ship it to you, and you have to send your faulty keyboard back before 14 days for a refund or they charge you completely for both). I chose the advanced as I couldn’t be without a keyboard. 2nd keyboard arrives and again for the first month, it’s all smooth, and then out of nowhere I’m playing a game and i shift the keyboard and hear a shaking of plastic in the keyboard, I opened the retractable mousepad (it’s important to mention i had never opened it prior) and out came a huge piece of broken plastic from the hidden mouse pad. I was so blown away that now i had to return a 2nd keyboard to them. After requesting yet again another keyboard, they began to make a big stink out of returning this keyboard telling me they don’t do returns for physical damage and wear and tear. It took SEVERAL emails for them and raising the case to superior for them to understand that a physical break like that does just happen to a brand new keyboard of the quality they claim of 1 month. After weeks of back and forth, they finally decided to let me do another advanced replacement. So I pay for another keyboard, and return mine. 3rd keyboard arrives and it works well for a few months. I noticed in the beginning that the mouse wouldn’t charge directly from the keyboard (which it’s supposed to) but that wasn’t an issue for me as it wasn’t a deal breaker. After a few months of it working, i noticed the mouse wheel began to have seizures, and wouldn’t recognize input on the mouse wheel if you had previously clicked in the 2 seconds prior. This became a problem for as you guessed, gaming. The mouse wheel is used for switching weapons, and the mouse clicks are for firing. So if you fired, you couldn’t reliably use the mouse wheel for 2 seconds. At this point I had had enough runs to my post office to return my keyboard. As I am trying to have them compensate me for my terrible year and experience of this keyboard, they have the audacity to tell me that they can’t do anything because my warranty is expired. Not only have they sent me 3 faulty keyboards, but they say that they can’t do anything. Now at this point I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with how Razer is treating a customer who they have sent 3 faulty keyboards. It was a grave mistake of mine to buy this keyboard. I have had to go through a year of returns and dealing with Razers terrible customer care. When it worked, it was an amazing keyboard. But on the off chance that it does not work for you, you cannot count on Razer to make it right. I know there are several great reviews, but i know for a fact their keyboards have problems that they are just okay with because they don’t want to go through the customer service. In the pictures is my 3rd keyboard (the one I am currently trying to get replaced because it was poorly manufactured) and you will notice that i still have the plastic on the bottom. This is because I just knew that there would be another problem with this keyboard, so i kept everything as intact as possible so it would be easier to send back.

   This was definitely my favourite purchase of the entire year. Having plugged in my gaming laptop to my big screen tv, I wanted a quality keyboard and mouse solution while I sat on the couch.

   While this product is undoubtedly expensive, you get what you pay for. The keyboard is extremely sturdy and you can tell it’s crafted to last. It’s heavy and stable on your lap, and the bottom of the keyboard has a fantastic grippy texture so it doesn’t slide. The retractable mousepad is extremely strong, and the sound and feel of the mechanical keys is so satisfying. The lighting is beautiful and both the keyboard and the mouse, and the mouse itself feels as good as my Razer Deathadder on my desktop setup.

   Battery life has been excellent.

   Cannot recommend this more.

   This combo fits my needs almost perfectly. One dongle that handles both mouse and keyboard that are actually good. It’s nice to be able to use the mouse by itself whenever I take my laptop with me, or even sit back on the couch or on a desk with my laptop docked into a setup. Responsiveness is great with no latency issues. The keys are satisfying to type and game on and they don’t exhaust you. The mouse is shaped very comfortably and the battery life on both the keyboard and mouse is great. The retractable mousepad is useful, and the magnets help keep the mouse on without it being too strong to hinder lift off when gaming. The things I disliked about this were not dealbreakers whatsoever but may be noticeable to others; The DPI swap buttons are placed ever so slightly in a way where my index joint accidentally will click it sometimes with my grip. This is easily fixed by just disabling the dpi stages and using one dpi setting, though if you’re the type of person to switch DPI’s on the fly and game , this may be a slight issue depending on your grip, but adjusting your hand slightly will fix it. I also find it odd that the mouse uses a proprietary USB micro connection while the keyboard uses USB C. I know this is an older product but even for it’s time this was a weird decision. As of now, the Xbox button doesn’t really do anything at all on PC as of the writing of this review. I believe it’s supposed to pull up Xbox game bar but perhaps that’s a bug that’ll get fixed in an update. The price is also ridiculously steep. This isn’t the only mouse and keyboard combo that’s out there, and for an Xbox peripheral, it launched nearly the same price as the console. And finally, the overall design aesthetic. I get that they wanted to go for the gamer look, but to be honest this keyboard looks too bulky , like an old IMB but slightly modernized and painted black. I really feel like Razer should’ve stuck with the original design look of the first version of the razer turret. That one has a much better design and it’s much easier to look at, and more portable. TLDR; If you are thinking of buying this amongst other mouse and keyboard combos and have the money to spend; get this one. The price is admittedly a very very tough sell, however for what this combo does, it’s the only one with this many features that does it well, and the product itself is very fun to use.

   The lights on the keyboard do not light up. We’ve uninstalled synapse and reinstalled. Plugged it in. Charged all the way. Tried to upgrade firmware(at latest firmware already). Rebooted the pc. Keyboard serial number doesn’t show up for support and I’ve seen other reviews of go-keyboard.com sold keyboards not showing up for support either. This is highly frustrating for this price.

   Key board and mouse look great but there is a lot of internal problems with this product. First of all you need to download the software from their website, you can’t just plug in and play. Second, the keyboard and mouse don’t charge well together as they should. The keyboard would have to charge first before the mouse and it’s frustrating. Battery life is horrible, both devices die within hours of use. Worst part is, out of nowhere the wireless capability on the mouse stopped working. Could only use when it’s wired. Overall, this product “looks” expensive but is terrible when it comes to use. Definitely not worth 250$ I paid for it.

    After having bought several “gaming” wireless keyboards with backlights, I finally bit the bullet and bought the expensive Razer Turret. This was a great decision. I specifically need wireless and backlight because of my unusual setup, which this does well. The build quality is comparable to any top-tier gaming keyboard. It IS very heavy, much more so than it looks, but it sits solidly on a lap or table. The battery life is excellent, I get three days of regular use with the backlight on on one 4-hour charge, and could probably stretch that even more. The charge port on the mouse IS a little tight, so I feel I have to be careful unplugging it. Also the battery on the mouse seems to die faster than the keyboard, though this could be due to my own usage habits. The magnetic mousepad takes a little getting used to, but as others have said, is more of a plus than a minus. It doesn’t slow the mouse down significantly, and has kept it from sliding away numerous times. Also, the pad has a “1/3” option, with just enough of a shelf to act as a storage spot for the mouse. [Note, previously the xbox key was functionless when connected to PC, this has been updated to function as “R-CTRL” with new firmware] Lastly, the backlights are similar to other Razer keyboards – you have to run their synapse program (on PC – there’s other software for xbox, but I don’t have one.) to control them, which I don’t like, but it does work well. Overall I wish it were cheaper, but if quality and function are your primary concern, this is a great option!

    Razer products are great, but their products are also expensive and if a cord or a button breaks the company doesn’t carry replacement parts. I have purchased a lot of their hardware and have had cords or buttons break and when I contacted the company for replacement part, tech support told me that they don’t carry replacement parts and that I will have to buy a new one. Example: I purchased an Xbox Keyboard and Mouse for my son, and it set me back $275 dollars after taxes and shipping. One day the cord wore out and the type “C” USB broke off and tech support said that they don’t carry replacement parts and I would have to buy a new Keyboard and mouse even though the keyboard and mouse was still covered under their warranty. What’s the point of having a warranty for their products if they won’t honor it. I don’t know about you people, but I can’t afford to spend $275 dollars every six months to replace their products when something simple like a broken cord breaks. I went to several electronics stores to try and find a cord to work with this product, but nothing I purchased would work for it which tells me that their product is designed only to work for their hardware. So now that keyboard and mouse is a big paper weight. It took me another 3 months for me to find a company in Washington that would make me a special cord that would work for this keyboard and mouse and the company charged me $25 for it before taxes. So, this Razer company is on my blacklist and I’m not buying any more of their products until this company starts carrying replacement parts for all their products that they sell.

    Wow. I was really impressed by it’s weight and how nice it feels. I didn’t understand why the mouse needed to be magnetic but after using it, it is a neat feature. I’m no expert and it is very expensive, I bought on a whim (well, I did want a mouse/keyboard for my xbox), but it seems to work great. The only downside is that it seems I can’t turn on the console via the Xbox button on the keyboard. It works when the system is on but doesn’t turn it on. I only tried it wirelessly, so maybe it makes sense that it’s not getting power or something. Also, all 3 cables that came with it had these nice endcaps so that they don’t get dirty, which is a nice touch, however, my set was missing one, which is very minor but makes we wonder if I was sent a previously opened product or a refurbished one, which would suck since I paid premium price. Overall, It’s working great

    Works perfectly with my xbox one s. Very responsive wired and wireless. The keys feel really smooth and nice the mouse is nothing but what I would expect from razor. The cords for the mouse fits well and stay in the mouse.
