   Wolverine V2 is great. Just needs swappable joysticks. Bought the CHROMA controller as a replacement for elite two. It was great for about two months, then a HUGE design flaw showed up. The USB – C cable develops a loose fit overtime leading to the controller randomly disconnecting. Pro: buttons are crisp, sturdy feel and grip texture, RGB, mappable buttons, trigger stops Cons: D pad is a bit too raised for my preference. USB-C port needs a whole new design. Renders controller unusable due to random disconnects. @Razer please fix your design. Permanent wired would have been better like wolverine v2 ( fabricated an anchor and zip tied for temp fix.    Not sure why, but the ‘X’ broke in the middle of playing Spiritfarer. Seriously? Not even a tense game with a lot of action (single player, crafting casual game). Don’t want to think easily it could of broken playing a FPS or something requiring actual speed. The active light was also too bright, but a little tape fixed that.

   **UPDATE** Controller was great. Lasted well, until out of warranty, which wouldn’t be an issue if the button membrane was available to purchase. This membrane under the ABXY is clearly a piece that wear out over time, so not being able to replace it means that a $5 fix turns into a new purchase of an entire unit. (confirmed with Razer support that this is the only way to deal with the problem as no individual parts are sold.) I’d imagine this piece fails/tears easily after the first year (1yr warranty) and I don’t think I intend to purchase another paperweight, even if I am a fan of the product. Dropping from 4 to 3 stars for lack of repair-ability on common replacement part. *included image of part* Still would like a V3 update, especially if they’re a bit more sensible on basic repair/replacement parts. **End of update** I’m really liking this controller. The buttons and D-pad feel great and joysticks are comparable to Microsoft’s. RB/LB and other buttons work as expected and overall build feels high quality but there are a few caveats about this controller. Overall, I find myself using this more than my xbox one controller. (Used on PC) Pros -ABXY/D-pad buttons have a very tactile feel to them and seem responsive when compared to mushy button counterparts -Joysticks just as comfortable as xbox Cons (would be nice to see at least the light and view button addressed in the next revision) -GLARING LIGHT FROM THE POWER INDICATOR… fixed by tinted tape.. -R/L triggers feel great, but I’m not a fan of the angle I have to pull and would prefer it be a bit more towards the controller rather than the feet of the controller. Trigger stops work as intended -View button(top left) position can be awkward to press since you have to go across the joystick rather than under it As a small disclaimer: I haven’t used the built in audio jack and just flat out disabled the multifunction buttons since I believe it’s due to microsoft that those are limited to just remapping rather than being able to be macro buttons(would absolutely love a macro feature for these). I barely notice they exist other than occasionally bumping into them but that’s more from getting used to the controller than any particular placement.

   Buttons feel great. Very responsive. Grips feel good. Thumbsticks show no signs of wear after a few months. Much better than base model xbox controllers. Definitely worth the price if you don’t want to pay for elite or scuf (have had friends complain a lot about higher end controllers anyway)

   I really liked this controller. Then my left trigger lock broke. I’ve had a few controllers: Xbox Elite 2 (died from stick drift) 6mo Razer V2 (trigger lock broke) 2mo Standard issue xbox (b button died) 1 year I have 2 additional xbox standard issue controllers that are both 2 years old, and both still working fine. At this point I think the 54$ stock controllers are the best bang for the buck. Im an adult and very good with my electronics. It’s just too much money to have it break this quick.

    I bought this wired Xbox One controller from go-keyboard.com in used (very good) condition 8 months ago. I have never used a Razer controller before this purchase but I am very impressed with the quality and durability of this controller. While not quite as durable as an Elite Xbox controller, it is more affordable and is saving me a ton of money on not buying batteries as well. I love this controller and highly recommend it to any gamer without a doubt.

    After having the Razer Wolverine tournament edition I guess I expected more from this controller. It’s honestly not a bad version of the wired controller, but it doesn’t outshine the competition like the Tournament edition did. Has one design flaw as well, the ON light is bright and if you game in the dark like I do, it can be very annoying not to be able to turn off. Again, not trying to be picky but I had to have my fist one also replaced not even two weeks in after my right trigger became jammed and wouldn’t release. go-keyboard.com sent me a replacement and haven’t had it happen again! Won’t purchase this model again, would rather spend the extra cash and get a Tournament edition if you are into wired fast-reaction gaming rather than wireless laggy controllers.

    I have used this controller for a long time. A couple years, in fact, and my old one has finally become a little broken. I decided to order a new one and saw they had two color options. The white one was a couple dollars cheaper, so I picked that one. It just arrived and I was excited to test it out, when I realized that it is different from the black one. It doesn’t have any buttons on the back. The description doesn’t say this at all. These two controllers should not be on the same page with the same description if they are different models. Now I have to return it and get the black one. All that being said, these are fantastic controllers. Way better than anything in the price range. You will never ever get stick drift with them. Even after years of use, the only thing wrong with my old one is the R3 button is a little wiggly and stuck.

    I’ve had this controller going on four and a half years now and the only reason I’m buying a new one is because the A button has finally died out on me. This thing is really taking a beating but it’s the longest a controller has ever lasted me. I can’t recommend it enough. The clicking feedback from buttons is a really nice feature. It’s a nice solid weight. I’m replacing my current with this exact one.

    The controller itself feels and works good, but when on it has a bright white light that even in a lit room shines bright. If playing in a dim or dark room it is insufferable. Had to place tape over the light, which you can see even with two layers of duck tape the light still is visible.

    Updated 3star to 5star I bought this controller in “ Ordered on March 8, 2022” At first I was skeptical, well growing up in a poor family and you don’t have a lot of money. You had to buy Mad Catz. If you know you know, and that scares me. I thought it was going to be that situation: Surprisingly it’s pretty okay. The controller feels a bit odd to me, but that’s me. Last XBox I used was 360, and coming from my recent PS4, it felt bulky. So I got use to it and it started working pretty well I got to say. I love the hefty feel of it, and its design is pretty slick. The rubber handles are also nice and grippy. You don’t have to worry about battery life or connectivity since it’s hard wired in. My only big complaint is that this HUGE ASS BRIGHT ASS light in the center is so annoying. It’s near the Xbox logo and it’s so bright that you can’t ignore it. I wish I could tone it down, or turn it off, because it’s so distracting. But yeah it’s been 2.5+ years, almost 3 years and it’s on its last leg. The connection is pretty unstable now and the left analog is showing little drifting recently. Not that bad, but if you move a little, the character will move a little extra like as if the Left Analog was still being pressed. I would honestly buy this again if it was on sale, preferably one without lights or RBG. Update: Update: Wanted to add extra context. So I play on PC and I daily drive this controller every single day. Usually in long session like 2hr-5hrs depending on how much free time I got. There are some rough competitive games listed.     Initial Impressions: Possibly the prettiest controller I have ever owned. The weight and clickiness of the Razer Wolverine V2 feels quality and worth the money. I personally like that it is wired since I play on PC and it will always be connected. Possible Cons: The led light below the Xbox logo remains on all the time, during nightime it is a bit too bright. I have also been having issues with the controller disconnecting randomly (light goes out) but I am troubleshooting and seeing if this has to do with my 5900x chip and Asus motherboard. It may be a bios issue but if i cannot resolve the issue it may be the controller itself. Also the joysticks are a bit looser than i am used to but that is just my own preference.

    After daily use a well built controller like Razer makes is supposed to hold up, right? RB button stopped working. It was a slow creep and I thought I just wasn’t fast enough in the game but it got worse. I contacted Razer support and my warranty just ended. Seems like Razer has fallen for planned obsolescence for profits. Very disappointed because their products are supposed to be top quality.

    Have had this controller for 6 months and used the Wolverine before this one and I have to say…. Absolutely amazing design with the m1 and m2 buttons above the triggers, great weight distribution, millisecond reaction speed with the mouse click buttons, trigger stoppers work wonderful and haven’t given out! I’ve dropped this controller so many times and not a single button is broken! Only issue I had was the grip tape started to fall off after the 5th month of owning but that doesn’t effect gameplay on my end. Haven’t seen any stick drift yet! unlike its brother controller “the Wolverine” it does not have paddles (I never used them anyways) and no magnetic joysticks to switch out. Overall a 4.6/5 for me! Some better grip tape or built in grip would bring this to a 5

    If you press down LB and then LT you can hear the two buttons hitting against each other. Like when you’re in GTA in your car and you’re trying to aim and then have to reverse. Only downside I found so far. Me personally I’m going to shave off some plastic with a dremel.

    The mechanical switches are amazing and build quality feels very solid. Unfortunately I play a lot of racing games and while the bumper is held down and the trigger is pulled they collide; sometimes stopping the trigger from releasing. This wont be a problem if you mostly play anything besides racing games or you do not use the manual gearbox option, but is definitely something to keep in mind if you’re playing a lot of Forza/BeamNG. I’m sure this could be solved by a slight modification to the trigger/bumper, but most people won’t be willing to disassemble and potentially file pieces of their $100 controller down out of the box.

    Not only the discoloration on my buttons but the A is failing already, i never eat when i play games or have my hands sticky so no reason why when i press A, half the time it doesn’t register super disappointed because I’ve had the previous for the old gen consoles controller and lasted me much much longer than this one.
