   I initially received this board as a gift as I wanted this as a keyboard for work. When I was playing with it when I got it, I noticed that pressing A and S at around the same time like when spelling the word “has” caused the caps lock to turn on or off. Likewise, when pressing W, E, and R like in “were”, the Tab button would activate. Although it seems little, it would be annoying in the long run. I sent it back and got a replacement with the same issue. I’m not sure if it’s on the engineers’ end where they forgot about crosstalk (I’m an engineer myself), quality control, or something else but I cannot recommend this board given two faulty boards.

   Box severely damaged and crushed. Feels like when paper gets wet and then dries as it feels brittle on the inside as well. At 1st connecting to PC lights turned on but no keys were registering. They keys work now so hopefully no more issues. Build is nice and RK Key switches feel nice. Stabilizers are good. Maybe someone lubed them, but then decided to return them and now I have it.

   To start things positively, the build of this keyboard is pretty great! It’s sturdy, has a good amount of weight to it, the keys feel great to type on, and I was thrilled to find a compact keyboard with the arrow, print screen, delete, etc, keys intact! HOWEVER the software is buggy, and there’s almost zero publicly available support for it, and trying to find a fix has been a monumental pain. For me the two biggest problems are the caps lock bug, and the RGB color toggle. The caps lock activates on its own (it definitely has something to do with the D key, but I have yet to figure out the exact combo that triggers it) which really makes this thing frustrating to use. And for me, the backlight color changer (Fn + ,>) doesn’t function at all. I guess this one isn’t a huge deal bc it doesn’t impact functionality, but it is a bit annoying (and eye-strainy) to be stuck in color-shifting rainbow mode, when all I want is a simple solid color lmao Most headache-inducing of all, is that the official website doesn’t seem to support this SPECIFIC model of keyboard. They have drivers for similar models, (like the exact same RK68, but without RGB,) but none compatible with the RGB varient?? I’ve found a handful of fixes on Reddit and YouTube, many of which have broken links, or mention the risk of bricking your keyboard. One involves digging into your device manager to find the exact hardware ID, which has been the most helpful so far… But its really making me wonder. WHY isn’t this information more readily available? Why are the driver specifications not just written in the manual somewhere? If the Caps Lock thing is a known issue, why isn’t there a public link to a fix?? TLDR, maybe pass on this particular model, if you aren’t prepared for a nightmare of troubleshooting lmao

   UPDATE: They reached out to me after I posted this review and on their own offered a refund. They didn’t have to. They take care of their customers unlike a lot of other vendors. Upgraded the review to a 4* since customer service is important as well.
   Worked great, switched out switches and keycaps and was my work daily keyboard for almost 5 months. Taking it back and forth from home to work. Unplugged it at home and when I tried to plug it back in at work it won’t power on and kills the Docking station port until I reboot the docking station. Tried different cables and even connected directly to the machine instead of the dock and it doesn’t respond. The software doesn’t recognize it either. Probably take it apart and see if it’s just an issue with the plug or something else but I really like the portability and comfortable aspect of this keyboard. Was just wishing it would have lasted longer.

   I picked up this keyboard for about $35(USD) and it’s great! Even though I had concerns from reading some bad reviews, this keyboard turned out to be perfect for the price. The only downside is it makes a pingy noise, but it can be fixed by modding it. It also comes with a software, and even that was good!

    Essentially a smaller version of a TKL without any unnecessary keys. Esc key and F1-F12 are entirely functional. Keycaps are highly legible and aren’t shiny. Switch selection is broad enough to be useful. Red switches are stable. Stabilizers are solid and quiet.

    Pros:
    Sounds pretty nice
    Relatively cheap
    Good form factor
    Cons:
    Keycaps feel cheap
    The wire it came with only supports 60hz
    The switches have a pretty deep actuation point, meaning it feels a tiny bit less responsive
    I needed a firmware update for mine to fix an issue about hitting keys I didn’t even press
    This version isn’t wireless(not a deal breaker for me)

    Was really excited about this keyboard after all the reviews. but there are some things nobody talks about that would definitly make me reconsider buying this keyboard. PROS: # small – perfect size for small desks or mobility. # Meterial – keys feel great and very pleasent and smooth to the touch, sounds great as well (red switches). # RGB – fun, pretty bright, lots of patterns to choose from (including animation speed), no need for software to change color or pattern, any color on the RGB scale you want, and can even be programmed for individual keys through the software (added picture). # Weight – its heavy, some won’t like it, but I like it becuase it feels robust and it won’t move or slide anywhere even if lightly pushed (the rubber that comes on the back also helps) CONS: # Software – RK official site provides software and driver on their website that does not recognize the keyboard, if you want to program macros/key bindings/individual key colors – you need the software. I eventually found a working version on reddit by some kind user who uploaded an older version I guess, not the most secure way of downloading things online but it works. # Function keys – because it’s compact, the upper numbers row naturally combines numbers, F1-12 and Fn keys. so 3 actions on each button. there are two modes for these keys and you need to switch between them with “Fn+left Ctrl”, you can’t use them all togather. for example: mode 1: pressing 5 = number 5 pressing Fn+5 = F5. mode 2: pressing 5 = F5 pressing Fn+5 = Stop music. all in all, I like this keyboard and will be using it probably until it dies or until the function keys annoy me too much. but if you need a compact, sturdy, fun and maybe even portable keyboard – go for it. if you need to frequently switch between the Fn keys / numbers / F1-12, you’ll have to get used to the 2 modes. 3/5 for the Function keys user (mostly music) who also writes numbers. 4/5 for the rest of people who don’t care about this sorry for the long review hope this helps!
