   Just received my board yesterday. It feels fantastic. The keystrokes are solid and smooth. The RGB looks fantastic, though maybe slightly dim (I don’t personally mind that though). I was expecting it to be slightly larger, but also don’t mind it’s smaller form factor. The switch feel compared to my triple the price Razer keyboard is definitely better. I would say get this over most other “gaming brand” keyboard. The brown switches are definitely more for typing as it’s a pleasure to type on, and less for gaming.

   I tested this against the Ducky One 2 SF and Ducky One 2. I noticed that the RK68 had more “thock” out the box (better sounding keys) and was also cheaper. On sale for less than $50, so it was 1/2 the cost of the Ducky’s. The ducky’s are not hot swappable, so you can’t easily switch out the switches. On the RK68, putting in new switches is easy. Having never modded a keyboard before, I did a little research on youtube and figured out how to do the Tape + foam + lube mod and now the keyboard sounds and feels excellent. For those who don’t know what those are, you put masking tape on the back of the pcb board, fill the housing with some type of foam (i used insulation filling from a shipping package, but you could use cotton balls or shipping foam) then you lightly paint lube into the internals of the switches. I also installed 36 glorious pandas switches into the letter keys (factory lubed). The stabilizers were also already lubed from the factory. Overall I’m very happy with the sound and feel of the keyboard, although the glorious pandas feel much more consistent than my ghetto lubed browns.

   Exceptional quality build, terrible software, but you don’t really need it. Very good features. The switches are swappable, It actually comes with some extra switches and a key cap puller tool and a switch puller tool. Beautiful RGB lighting, Definitely one of the best budget 65% keyboard. It has basically everything a 65% keyboard should have, there are slightly better keyboards on the market but they are way more expensive. For this price this product is absolutely perfect.

   Got this keyboard for my son’s Christmas in 2020. After one year of use it just died. Tried another USB port, different USB cables and different computer. Nothing worked. After digging go-keyboard.com site found that item is covered by 2 years warranty. Don’t be fouled. It’s a scam. Contacted people listed on go-keyboard.com site just to hear they’re just distributor for this item and they’re not responsible to handle warranty issues. Asked to provide me contact information to the manufacturer and no response for over a two weeks. Sent few reminders and nothing. Also sent few emails from wife’s account and exactly same story. Bottom line is. There is no warranty on this item. Customer service if there is any sucks. No support in USA and what’s weird about it as all responses I received from them came during nights time CST. Hmmm interesting.

   I just got into the hobby of mechanical keyboard modding and I wanted to do practice modding on an affordable keyboard before I jump unto more advanced (and expensive) keyboards. I found this keyboard and I gotta say, I have never written an go-keyboard.com review despite being a customer for a while and I think this is the one order that is my absolute favorite. PROS: Affordable – For $50 you get a fully assembled keyboard and a lot of the features that keyboard enthusiasts look for! It gives you a lot of flexibility to customize and improve it. Hot-swappable – the main reason why I bought this keyboard is because I’ve been wanting to try out the Gateron Milky Yellows that I lubed on a keyboard but my previous one isn’t hot-swappable and I’m not about to de-solder and solder new switches for a test run. Size – I had a 60% keyboard before and though it is very convenient due to its size, I still found it too small and the 75% feels to big for my desk space. This keyboard is a perfect size. Lighting – the RGB lighting is the best. Though it doesn’t have a designated software, I think the lighting options on the keyboard is more than enough. The RGB itself is really bright and pleasant to the eyes. Extras – I ordered the Brown switches and long behold, they included extra switches in case one of them breaks. The box also included a keycap puller and switch puller which is also a nice addition. CONS: Wired – Because I’ve been on a hunted for an affordable keyboard for some time, I didn’t notice that this keyboard didn’t have the wireless options (and it’s completely my fault.) however, it is USB-S so I’m most likely just gonna get a coiled cable to make it look more aesthetic. MODIFICATIONS: – Foam added to the bottom of the board – Foam added in the spacebar to reduce the hollowness – Switches are Gateron Milky Yellows lubed w/ Krytox 205g0 – Band-aid mod on PCB – Keycaps are the Sushi Keycaps

    Recién recibo el teclado y ha llegado muy bien empacado, al abrirlo se encuentra todo lo que se supone que debe traer. Puntos a favor: – Al tacto el teclado se siente muy bien. – Buen peso que permite mantenerse estable en la superficie. – Para mí la intensidad lumínica es perfecta. No me gusta demasiado brillante porque me molesta los ojos. – Los modos y colores del RGB son más que suficientes. – Tiene interruptores intercambiables. Esto supone una gran ventaja ya que si se avería alguno, reemplazarlo será muy fácil. – Incluye 4 teclas de repuesto. – Al presionar las teclas su sonido no es tan fuerte. Contras: – La impresión de las teclas no es perfecta. Hay varias teclas que no están totalmente iluminadas. En la foto se muestran algunas y como se ve allí pareciera que no es mucho, pero en teniendo físicamente el teclado sí que se nota. – Me hubiera gustado que el cable USB fuera trenzado, sin embargo el que trae parece ser duradero. – Aunque personalmente no lo compré por esa funcionalidad, este teclado no cuenta con conexión bluetooth. Recomendación: – Que por lo menos incluyan una tecla adicional de cada color de la compañía para probarlas. Espero que el teclado sea duradero, tanto como mi otro teclado que incluso se ve en las fotos. Ese teclado también lo compré aquí en go-keyboard.com y jamás le ha fallado nada desde que lo compré en el 2017, ese es un teclado que lo he utilizado para escribir, pero muchísimo más para jugar así que tiene muchas horas de juego. Hasta el momento estoy satisfecho con la compra, me parece increíble que se puedan conseguir productos en este rango de precio con las funcionalidades que lo acompañan. En caso de ser necesario actualizaré esta revisión, espero que sea para bien y no para disminuir la calificación.

    Update..I was never contacted by support for the caps lock issue, but it seemed to resolve and I forgot about it. Happened again today and my product support period ended a month ago. The frequently used keys are now shiny instead of the original matte finish. Overall, but a bad keyboard, but not great either. In general, the keyboard works fine. It’s easy to type on and I like the feel of the keys when pressed. Recently, the caps lock button does the opposite of what it should… lower case when lock is on, capital when it is off. I contacted support and will update my rating if/when they respond and take care of this issue.
