Everything you need to start customizing your first keyboard is included in this kit.
Got the red switch version but later swapped them out for some Hippo Switches and it sounds amazing. The key caps that come with this keyboard give it a really nice crisp sound click and I couldn’t ask for more.
Most standard switches are 5 pins so those are the ones you’re looking for if you’re looking for some new switches. But even if you just like regular reds these ones sound really good and the overall feel of the keyboard is really nice.
Battery life is very long and can go without charging on wireless for at least a week and a half. And that’s me just gaming for hours everyday of the week.
I’d highly recommend this keyboard as a starting one if you’re looking to customize a little. But works well and a stand-alone one as well.

The keyboard is amazing, I bought it since I needed a new change and decided to give RK a try, i’ve heard great things from the company and gave it a shot and was not disappointed, quick things to mention are that the keys feel great, and it looks great on any setup you use it on! Another thing to mention though is when it is connected via bluetooth some keys won’t type the first time you click it and it may take several clicks although for me it’s not a big deal since I use it wired but it can be better, other than that the keyboard is great and I’d say it’s underpriced!

I love the sound it makes. Great mechanical sound, very satisfying, so far had no issues, not too loud and annoying, just right. Gotten compliments on it. Only thing I will say (more so personal preference) the keys are sensitive when pressing, so when I play video games I find I miss-click other keys occasionally. My previous razor keyboard keys needed much more pressure to be applied to the key cap. The lights are great, rainbow, bright. It feels heavy and sturdy, great quality. Customizable and the keys are replaceable/interchangeable, came with tweezers to remove them. Overall would recommend!

The RK87 is an amazing starting point for a custom mechanical keyboard: wired, 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, RGB backlight, hot-swappable switches, pretty solid build quality of the base, and VERY good price.
The keycaps are a bit flimsy for my taste (but not as bad as the Keychron ones), and the switches it comes with are OK (but not as good as e.g. Cherry switches). However, I replaced all the switches with Durock T1 tactical switches and the keycaps with thick o-ringed PBT keycaps, and the result does not disappoint!
Best of all, I have had no compatibility problems. I first tested it with my Macbook using wired connection, 2.4 GHz wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0 – everything worked as it should. I now use it with 2.4 GHz wireless on a Windows PC, and again no problems at all. I also have it paired with my Quest 2 VR headset over Bluetooth 3.0, which again works without any problems. The only slight issue that I ran into was that Bluetooth 5.0 did not work with the Quest 2, but since 3.0 is working, that does not matter.

Keyboard is pretty good, including the price considering the cherry MX switches can be expensive. The glue for the feet wears out fairly quickly, which I don’t know if thats with harsh cold or warm weather.
Would be 5 stars if that wasn’t an issue

I bought this for my wife when her old razer gave out. Very nice keyboard, well built . Rgb is really bright and the white makes it pop . Keys sounds really good, not loud. Stabilizers doesn’t rattle . Highly recommend for entry or even someone that’s looking for a highly customizable keyboard.
