Build quailty is okay, leds are nice, but keys have a very unsatisfactory squishy press to them. This keyboard is huge way to much wasted space on it.

I bought this as a replacement for my husband as this is his current keyboard and is concerned he won’t be able to find any when his current one bites the dust. Very few non-mechanical keyboard on the market have quite the angle that this one does, or has such a massive space bar. I am not sure WHY he likes such a large space bar but he does. He is very anti-flip feet on a keyboard and this doesn’t have those. I don’t believe any of SteelSeries’ current models are much similar to this one, so if you are into any of its features you should purchase it before it is too late.

it’s not bad, but if you’re going from a regular keyboard it might be hard to get used to typing. You need to put your pinky finger near the MX3 and MX 4 button to type properly. i

Space bar is wayyyyyy too sensitive for my regular typing. Frequently have double spaces. No fix available that I have found. However the rest of the keyboard is very nice.

I have always had trouble between choosing membrane or mechanical keyboard, always been my two selections and while this one is a clear choice between the two the thing about the Apex series is that the keys are not that high, in fact compared to most keyboards all of the keys on this one are nice and smooth between one another allowing for much easier typing and in my case gaming, I always go for one of these when I can but I do wish the newer ones were not so expensive.
