Man oh man is the software and connection terrible. My keyboard required an update, and the update fails every time at this point all the keys work but the keyboard constantly flashes red which I am sure you understand makes it practically unusable… I have tried everything to fix it. I have probably uninstalled Steal series gg and reinstalled it more time than Linus lol. This has been for months; I bought a much cheaper keyboard that works great and has the same features but to humor myself I plug back in this keyboard and try to fix it again to no avail. I have had issues like this with every steel series device I have purchased when I originally made my switch from console gaming to PC. I have since systematically eliminated every one of the devices because of software and connection issues. Today is a great day as I have finally gotten replacements for all the steel series devices I have gotten and felt vindicated to write this review. My advice to all of you considering any steel series device it to avoid this company like the plague unless you want hours of frustration and an unnecessarily lighter wallet. There are many other less expensive brands that produce better products. If you want to take the risk and listen to the obviously paid for hype, good luck…

The keyboard is like new. No signs of wear and it’s completely functional.

I bought this item without realising it was in fact renewed but that wasn’t my issue at first
I purchased the keyboard on the basis it was as advertised ( Linear & quiet) but it is in fact the complete opposite of quiet
Not happy with my product as it wasn’t represented well in the title of the products page
Also I’ve found that even though is product is renewed the product in fact 120 brand new so I feel like I’ve been abit
There is also a firmware issue with the keyboard as it won’t let me map my keyboard.
Not happy at all.

This keyboard is nice. It feels good, and it’s honestly not loud. Seriously, try it after you’ve had a Logitech G213 and you’ll know what I mean. The Logitech keyboard is horrid in comparison to this one. You’re not going to bother anyone typing on this keyboard.
The flaw however, the reason I gave it 4 stars, is because of the way the keys are printed. On the top row, the symbols are under the numbers. This is contrary to pretty much all standard American keyboards. The other non-letter keys are the same way, with the shifts printed on the bottom. On an old-style typewriter, the “shift” key makes the ink part go UP. Therefore, “shift” on a keyboard is associated with “up.” These keys are, in my opinion, printed upside down. The shift character should go on top! I will be buying new keycaps!
By the way, the M keys on the “six pack” of the keyboard, are printed properly. The M1-M6 is printed on the top. To print the symbol keys in reverse was a very silly design decision on the part of Steelseries.

Nothing to dislike about this renewed keyboard. Plays just like it was out of the box fresh from Steel Series. I have the mouse and headset, from Steel Series, for my son and he said the keyboard has the feel of brand new. Saved us a few bucks over the one on the Steel Series website. But I must say, buy the extended warranty if offered to be on the safe side. Still saves you $$$. He has been playing the keyboard solid since Christmas with no issues.

My only issue was not necessarily with the product itself, but that the keyboard i received was not tbr 10less version (numpad was on). This was not what was depicted in the photo and what I had originally intended on ordering. Ultimately I needed one ASAP and did not want to wait additional time and go out of my way to return/wait for a replacement so I kept it. Aside from being disappointed about the type of product I received I have been happy overall with the utility and integrity of the keyboard itself.
