Na een jaar gebruik (middelmatig gebruik) werkten sommige klaviertoetsen niet meer. Het is best vervelend en frustrerend om niet goed te kunnen typen. Ik heb ervoor gezorgd dat ik het toetsenbord goed heb opgepakt, maar dit was niet het geval. Na enige tijd reageren de toetsen niet meer zoals een jaar geleden.

I decided to splurge and take my gaming to the next level because I couldn’t stand losing to 12 year olds any longer. Their time had come and I was ready to paddle them into submission. I decided to get the Steel Series Apex 7 TKL after a lot of research. I settled on the brown switches after careful study of the benefits of the blue, brown, and red options. I’m really glad I settled on the brown because they are still very ‘clicky’ and I’m not sure I would enjoy the louder blue switches.
they keyboard feels substantial in your hands, the key response is nimble, and the build quality is wonderful. The Steel Series engine software is very cool and if you have additional Steel Series products the integration between them is seamless.

Solidne , porządne wykonanie. Przelotowy USB i dobre dedykowane oprogramowanie, kompatybilne tak z Windows jak i z MacOS. Choć we współpracy z MacOS nie wszystkie opcje oprogramowania działają. Nie działa System Monitor i nawet prostego zegara nie można ustawić na OLED Display, co czyni ten ekran ….zbędnym. przy komputerach Apple. . Najsłabszym punktem są “autorskie” switch’e Brown. Są znacznie gorsze od oryginalnych “Cherry”. Pracują nieprecyzyjnie, “gumowo”, co uniemożliwia sprawne pisanie dłuższych tekstów. Zielone switch’e Razer czy oryginalne Blue czy Brown Cherry są znacznie precyzyjniejsze.
Gdyby nie switch’e i okrojone możliwości współpracy z MacOS dał bym 5 gwiazdek. A tak, tylko trzy.
