   Well the keyboard looks good. But the first thing is that it does not feel very good while typing.
   But another bigger issue is that while playing it misbehaves… My player running right keeps on running right or backward or sometime no response at all.

   I tried replugging but the issue is at game’s critical moments, its a total bummer to face this…

   Now i would not buy that its not a mechanical keyboard, its still marketed as GAMING Keyboard and its from Steelseries… So No excuses here…

   I like that you can program the keys to whatever you want and I can type really fast without making too much noise. And the light is just enough to recognize the keys. HOWEVER, I can only press 6 keys at the same time. I tried contacting their email support about this issue (as pointed out by other reviewers) BEFORE I purchased the product. They insisted that it CAN do 20 simultaneous key presses until I bought the product and tried it myself. I am still waiting for what they have to say. The driver on Mac OS X is not working. It crashes each time I open it! I have never been able to use it on my MacBook Pro 15″ Early 2011 (running on 10.8.3) properly unless I use my VM. If you install the current version of their driver (to change macro keys) on a MacBook (with an Apple keyboard), it will disable the media keys (dashboard, screen brightness keys, etc) on your MacBook’s keyboard. If someone has a Windows laptop, please try it out and post your reply. The sides do not light up, unlike APEX, which is actually OK. If they can give me a version that can handle 20 simultaneous key press and fix the bug on their OS X driver, I will give this a 5. BTW, I had it for over a week and I just used it for around 5 hours. Update: I have been trying to get a hold of them but they weren’t responding to any of my emails and there are no other means of communication. I still have an open support ticket and I attempted to create another one but they don’t seem to care. I am very disappointed with SteelSeries and this product. Update: They changed the product information on the website to match what the keyboard really is capable of doing. Before: “Superior anti-ghosting, supporting up to 20 simultaneous key presses compared to 3-10 in standard gaming keyboards”. Now: “6 simultaneous keypresses of 20 antighosting capable gaming keys” But, that does not change the fact that: 1. They ignored me when I started to complain about the 20 simultaneous key presses. They even deleted my support tickets. 2. Their mac drivers is barely useable (at the time of posting). I do not like how they treated me, but that does not mean I would be biased in this review. I think the keyboard is GOOD even without the simultaneous key presses they initially claim to be. But do not expect that their support team is as good as the keyboard.

   This is an excellent keyboard, very useful for gamers especially with the macro keys, it is useful for typist too. Keys are very smooth as expected, basically we get to see this much smooth keys in a mechanical keyboard, this keyboard comes with low profile, so you don’t have to push it all the way to make it work.

   Last but not the least the looks, ooww, surely looks could kill. I would recommend this keyboard to everyone.

   entrambe con lo stesso problema: il tasto dello spazio non funziona.
   non mi dilungo, ci sono varie recensioni (che purtroppo non avevo letto prima) in cui questo problema viene segnalato.

   alla fine ci ho perso i soldi per spedire indietro il prodotto la seconda volta in quanto non era venduta direttamente di go-keyboard.com.

   The keyboard in NOT mechanical. Other than that, its amazing. The eight shades of white light is vibrant, the anti-ghosting is nothing less than perfect, everything comes as promised. The SteelSeries Engine has a great user interface, allowing instant, full customization and two layers of FIFTEEN macros, and the ability to change the intensity of the illumination. With the elevated function (F) and macro keys, gaming has never been better. Keyboard response time is near instant. The keyboard is elevated and has a wrist rest, allowing for hours of nonstop gaming marathons in complete comfort. My only issue is that it’s quite big, ranging around 20.5 inches wide.

   This keyboard is really underrated. It’s one of the cheapest boards from SteelSeries and the extra features are more than worth it. A backlit keyboard and 17 extra macro keys with a comfortable feel and quiet keypress. This was exactly what I wanted in a keyboard and I highly recommend this if you’re getting into gaming. The software you download from the website takes very little time to understand and is easy to set up.

   Initially I did have problems with my keyboard and mouse glitching out and changing settings; however, there have been software updates and it has not messed up since.

   If you want a great keyboard with a great feel, great performance, and is loaded with macros and backlit keys for a relatively cheap price, then this is for you.

   Steel Series Apex entry line product has set the bar for me on non-mechanical keyboards. This low profile, membrane activated, back lite is in my opinion the keyboard to chose if you want to have programmable keys at a small slide of hands. Customization is the key word ! This keyboard counts with anti-ghosting support for 20 keys (not that you need more than 5 IMO) where buttons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Q, W, E, R, A, S, D and F can be simultaneously pushed (6 at a time) to be registered without locking the input interface. These 11 well positioned high profile buttons around the top of the keyboard are easy to identify while playing games, big plus for me. Rubber feet, white only back lighting, matte black with almost little to no flex in the keyboard body combined with a design that appeals to me made me very pleasant with the purchase. Downside? Wish they had downsized it! I don’t see a point of adding a number pad on a “gaming” keyboard. It’s foot print will reduce your workable area in 21″ x 9″ so keep that in mind

   Es el teclado americano, por lo tanto no tiene Ñ, y tiene todas las funciones cambiadas, como los puntos, comas etc.
   No estam cambiadas de configuracion, sino q la tecla “:” por ejemplo, le das y tiene otra funcion.
   Las teclas estan demasiado juntas, y es muy incomodo para escribir.

   Lo unico positivo es q es full customizable (teclas y macros), y el software de steelseries es muy facil de manejar
