   I would LOVE to give these headphones a 5 star review. However, this is my second pair and with both sets I have had the exact same problem. One of the wires that attaches to the self-adjusting suspension breaks, which means the suspension stops working, which makes the headphones uncomfortable to wear for any amount of time. Both times I have bought these I have had this happen with-in 1.5 years of owning the headphones. Considering how much these cost, I feel that they should last longer than 1.5 years. As much as I love SteelSeries products, and in particular their headphones, I’m not sure I will be buying them again. I can’t be dropping $100+ every 18 months on headphones. Aside from this one issue, these headphones are great. Comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Excellent for gaming. Mic is clear, but does pick up a bit of background noise.

   Estos casos o auriculares cuentan con una construccion en materiales de calidad excelente, ademas su luz RGB tiene una intensidad muy aceptable, por otro lado uno de sus apectos fuertes es la ligeresa que se siente al traerlos puestosy lo suabes pero resistentes que son las almoadillas. en laparte del sonido son lo sufiesciente mente potentes para envolvenros ya sea con nuestra musica o videojuegos tal vez no tan potente como otros pero si con una calidad de audio y definicion que supera a muchos y creo que eso es mas importante que el excedente en potencia que al fianal puede ser insoportable en esos modelos de auriculares de gama alta, y por ultimo el microfono que desafortunadamente su calidad es baja pero cumple el cometido y funciona.

   El envio fue super rapido y llego en perfectas condiciones bien sellado.

   Love it. No problems. I use this headset to Live-stream on twitch.tv (syntria). I honestly prefer not to use a headset most of the time but this gives you a great depth of sound and enhances the experience of every game I’ve played it with, particularly FPS games where determining the sounds of the enemy is critical. It is of course also neat because I can change the color to match my DXRacer Chair.

   I hadn’t realized just how long I’ve had these till a buddy asked for a recommendation on a new headset, pulled these up on go-keyboard.com and noticed the purchase date o.o’ OK, that deserves a review. Still just as great as when I got them (as I rarely buy anything before its predecessor craps-out, has a loss of quality etc -HEY, its the plight of the “working man”, I’m not a cheapskate lol). Used very regularly by a 38 year old thats held a lifelong gaming household -where on more than couple occasions been witnessed by the missus (get your gamer girl, they exist) or any number of friends over, that classic gamer rage-leap from the couch with a WTF to whatever shenanigans just took place in play, and the cord yanking the headset right off my head or clothes-lining me back down XD…and that embarrassing factoid definitely being a testimony on durability, or maybe I’m just lucky. Same set I use for just for music/movies/yt as well (the mic retracting into the left earcup itself is great), and capable of being clear while “too loud” -as the best volume is always a half-step below that. Mic is regularly used over Discord or Steam voice chat, told to have been of telephone-quality and without complaint (unless I mute myself or any number of user-errors lol). Photo: As no doubt expected, the black/orange outer “skin” of the cushions is somewhat worn (no tears/holes) from five years of regular use, but thats it, they’re still perfectly comfortable, size adjustments maintain position, and in/output is great. (My boy Fritz cleaning his butt in the background was an unexpected twist when lining up this shot -you’re welcome.) Final Thoughts: I like new toys, and been building my own rigs since opening Wolfenstein3D in dos, so my only complaint is about not having a reason to buy a new headset for half a decade lol. Related note regarding the company, we’ve had three Stratus XL bluetooth controllers for a similar amount of time, all still functioning, so I definitely stand by Steelseries as a brand in general.    I’ve only had these for about a month and a half and there is already a considerable amount of wear on the headband which I don’t think should be there. It isn’t a very big deal but it causes some discomfort and is tedious to always have to put it back into place every time I put the headset back on. The comfort, aside from the issues is great, I have some discomfort but only if I have been wearing them for 6+ hours which was a big plus. The sound quality to me is a bit above okay compared to my previous headset, The Razer Kraken (2013-2015). To me a USB headset isn’t worth getting unless you have no sound ports because the Realtek HD Audio Manager makes sound so much better, while I realize you can get similar programs for USB it is no where near as easily manageable unless you have a deep understanding of the science of sound. The only thing I can say about the mic is that it is WAY too sensitive and getting into the steelseries client sucks SO MUCH it is a HUGE pain and I refuse to bother with it.

   This headset offers amazing sound and the customizability is like no other product. The software allows you to customize both the sound to how you game and the colour of the LEDs. The mic is also clear and crisp. This is a great product.

   Extremely comfortable and light. I have pretty sensitive ears and with other headsets, such as Beats by Dre or the cheap Logitech ones at your local wally world, I’d usually have to tear em off after half an hour. With these though, I’ve been wearing them for hours and hours on end and they feel fantastic. The sound quality is okay, could definitely use a bit more bass, but since they’re so damn comfy I don’t mind that. I docked it a star for that, and for some issues with it not automatically switching from my speakers to the headset. So if you have Realtek, you might have to go into Windows control panel and mess around with your sound settings. Not too big of a deal, but it took me a minute to get it figured out. The cord is a bit on the shorter side, but I had a usb extension cable. If you’re looking for a decent rgb led headset that’s comfortable to wear for long periods of time and doesn’t cost an arm or a leg, these are definitely worth considering.

    Headset ist ganz gut. der sound ist gewöhnungsbedürftig ( vorher das Logitech g430 gehabt )
    Der klang ist sehr Hell. hat nicht soviel bass wie z.b das Logitech g430. ich würde nichts an dem sound in der Engine verstellen wenn ihr mit dem g430 sound zufrieden wart. ( den regler überall in der mitte lassen ). dann ist der bass ganz ok und alles andere auch.

    #Update nach ca 1jahr und 7monaten.
    Der sound ist extremst komisch auf beiden Ohren, würde an liebsten ein neues kaufen..

    Das mikrofon ist echt nervig da es immer wieder abgehackt ist..
