   Purchased but had to return because you need a specific key board to use it on, one of which I did not have. Still, it looks really cool and folds out easily, and the company was very kind and helpful when I had to return the product.

   This is the 3rd keyset that my boyfriend has used on his keyboard. We bought the Zboard and a World of Warcraft keyset 6 years ago. Then he got the new WoW keyset and couple years later. Then a couple years after that he got this keyset. The Zboard was thee most gangster keyboard ever. I just bought him the new SteelSeries Apex keyboard for his birthday in October. He still had the Zboard until then 🙂 He was upset that they didn’t come out with a Pandaria keyset lol. But ya this and the whole Zboard itself was worth every penny and then some!!!

   I bought this not paying complete attention to the fact its just a keyset (new to gaming computer accessories) I am oing to buy the keyboard but for now cannot give much of a review other than the fact that it was packaged well and is in perfect condition. I will update when I have the chance to use it.

   I have all the key insert sets, burning crusade and wrath of the lich king and others I don’t use except for normal computer use. The cataclysm keyset has a faster response and smoother action than the others. I gave it 3 stars because the F5 thru F12 emote 2 have software gliches and do not perform as were intended. Steelseries has insured me they are working on this. Also, the raid functions seem to have software issues too. Instead of going to raid chat it goes to the last person you chatted with even if that was in another realm or land. The others have equal problems in the raid functions. SteelSeries have great developers and is a great company. Yet, we as customers, still identify and hopefully get the updates and software fixes from SteelSeries when this is fixed. I would encourage anyone who wants to buy this cataclysm board PLEASE DO SO. OTHER THAN THE SMALL GLITCHES, YOU WILL BE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED OF ITS SMOOTHNESS OF ACTION AND EASY USE. IT IS A MAKESENSE PRODUCT FOR THE GAMERS YOUNG AND OLD.

   I previously owned the Zboard BurningCrusade keyset and enjoyed it quite a bit, but was in need of an upgrade. The new Cata keyset definitely fit the bill, and it works perfectly with my older Zboard base. One note, however, is that if your using the old Zboard software you have to uninstall it and pick up the new steelseries software for the keyset to work on the older versions of the Zboard. Not bad as the Steelsereis driver is free from their website, just something to keep in mind.

   This keyset is a pretty nice one for the z-keyboard or the shift set from steel series. I personally have the z-board and this keyboard feels better than any other keyset that came with the original set. It took a bit of work to actually get this set to function with the zboard, but it finally works and is perfect for my gaming mmorpg’s. You can even change the macros for whichever game you’re playing.

   There are occasionally some weird moments when the keyboard decides to pull up notepad randomly, but this can be fixed by pulling up the keyset and then locking it back in. Overall its a good keyset, and it works well with the z-board. I’d suggest getting the shift series as a base in combination though.
