Unsatisfied with the purchase. This is apparently an returned item. Someone else’s fingerprints are on the sealing tape. Protective case looked dirty and a few key caps had black marks on them. The “O ring dampers” are already installed when I pulled up the key caps. There is nothing in the description suggesting that this item is an “open box” or returned item. Three star is only for the keyboard itself because it is a decent mechanical keyboard for this price. I have no problem with the product itself- BESIDES THE FACT THAT IT WAS NOT BRAND NEW

Keychron is talked about in a lot of keyboard enthusiast videos for being a good entry level mechanical keyboard. This is technically true in that the key switches used are great. They use Gateron. HOWEVER. That title comes with the caveat that it's when it is a hot swappable keyboard. As in one you can repair or upgrade yourself without having to solder the switches. This version is NOT that. I only found this out after damaging a switch and my new switch puller and completely disassembled the board. They do technically make this known in that their mess of a product title doesn't say hot swappable. The other ones do. But that is NOT ENOUGH when your reputation is for having entry level stuff. You HAVE to make it clear to the buyer or you end up like me. Out 100+ bucks plus the now useless replacement switches. Maybe I'll get the proper one. But I may just go with a competitor that actually does their job and describes the product they sell.

Note that this is the fourth left control keycap that has broken in the past year. I tried to buy a dozen from Corsair but they refused. Ordering replacement parts through their website is broken, and calling them just leads you into their red tape. Just when you are about to blow your top after a dozen calls because you need to replace CTRL, W,A,S,D, and the SHIFT caps they show up in your mailbox. Wait a few months and you have to go through it again because the key cap supports are so dammed brittle. Love the keyboard when I have keys, but half the time I am using caps from other keys just to be able to play online. Not worth the huge sum we pay for this substandard material.

Did I get an empty box? Yes I did after I took the keyboard out. I'm never putting it back in the box EVER!!!!!!!

So first off. I would like to comment that currently I have not USED this. This is purely me messing around with it This thing is amazing. The key caps feel great, the cord is a meh, knob is good. And it sounds. Sensational. And the colors are good too

It has the optimum amount of buttons in the thumb and index finger region. Cool features with the scroll wheel (it unlocks), and I guess gamers like the weights you can put on it? But I had to return it because the scroll wheel was too loose. So every time I middle-clicked, it would also activate the functions I'd assigned to pushing the wheel left or right. Which is another cool feature, just couldn't take advantage of it. I'm going to get the G602, instead.

This keyboard outshines the competition in terms of looks and build. A very sturdy and weighted keyboard that had bright LEDs with some cool settings (see pic). Plus, it's the best-known gaming brand out there. Green keys are definitely loud and clicky and have a good feel to them. The tenkeyless size fits perfect between my mouse and keypad for an ideal gaming setup (see pic). i removed one star because the Razer Synapse software due to its lackluster support on Mac OS. This is the software for controlling the keyboard and currently the 3.0 version of the software does not work on Mac OS (I have to use the legacy 2.0 version while my other razer accessories such as the base station only use 3.0). Once the entire razer accessory ecosystem runs on the same software I will be happy.

I wanted a simple, comfortable, affordable mechanical keyboard my office at work where I do a lot of typing. I don't need or want backlit keys, and I don't need to be bothered with all the customization hotswap mishegas. This baby is perfect for me. The brown switches are still very clicky and satisfying to type with, but not to the point where my coworkers want to murder me because of the noise. The retro color scheme has gotten several compliments. Included are keys for both Windows and Mac, and a gray ESC key if you want to swap out the red one. It also comes with an adapter for USB C to A to plug into my computer which was very nice. I've enjoyed typing on this thing so much I ordered a second one for my other office. Would highly recommend this model.

I paid full price for a new keyboard and this is what came to me. Used sticky and half of the buttons don't even work properly. What the hell is this, never buy from this seller!

Wouldn't take a wireless nor wired charge after less than a weeks use. App completely stopped recognizing the mouse as well. Returning for a Logitech.

Wish it came shipped in another box other than the manufacturers box . Did come with a few dents on the box but the keyboard its self was in perfect condition. It sounds and looks amazing and has good weight to it definitely feels like an expensive keyboard. Would highly recommend

Easy enough to install, defuses the light really well.

Overall a very good product. I enjoy the sleek look with the matte black finish and the cute LED light strip also added at the top. Very cool. I have to also say it looks way better in person! Very happy with it

1. LOOKS: I love the look of it. From a flat white/grey keyboard to this taller, thocc-ier keyboard is actually nice. I love the red accent escape button. I wasn't sure about the LED effects - I have no use for them but I'm enjoying the subtle one where a faint color appears just under the key I press. The color is different each time but it's nice. There are of course tons of other color options including NO color at all. 2. SOUND: I always loved the almost silent sound of the original Apple keyboard. I don't usually want too much noise. But for some reason I found myself watching YouTube videos about keyboards and all the hype about "THOCK" actually interested me. So when it was finally time to get a new keyboard... I risked it and got this. I'm MOSTLY happy however: the SPACEBAR, DELETE and left SHIFT keys have a slight squeak. The delete and shift keys more than the spacebar but still both. This is out of the box. It's VERY annoying. It looks like I have to buy lube now?! Come on. Also, the spacebar has a more flat smack sound than the other keys - I suppose because it's a bigger piece of plastic. The delete and shift key are also wider than the other keys and so it makes sense that they too are a bit deeper in the "thock" sound. But uuuuuch the squeak is a NIGHTMARE!!! I don't want to spend another $10-$20 for lube that I may apply wrong and mess things up further! Lastly, not the worst thing in the world but with this keyboard I can't be quiet at night anymore. I really don't want to wake people while working - I guess I never though about that until I was able to use one myself and it got late. 3. FEATURES: It lacks a couple things my original Apple keyboard had: A) There is no spare USB port. This is where I plugged in my wireless mouse bluetooth receiver. Now I have to find another port - and there's none unless the keyboard is used wirelessly. I prefer wired. So I either use Bluethooth and have another thing in my life to charge, or I buy another USB hub just to get one extra USB port. Or a USB-A to USB-C converter. Either way, my life has been made just that more difficult. B) No EJECT KEY. There is no first party software with it, the manual said to use Karabiner which now I have to learn. I wanted to map the small forward-delete key (the one to the left of the lightbulb key) to the EJECT key. Why? Because that's how I've always turned off my Mac. The keyboard combo of COMMAND+CONTROL+OPTION+EJECT. C) No KEYPAD. It has numbers along the top but no keypad on the right side. I knew this already, I took the risk. Maybe it'll take some getting used to and I know this company has versions WITH a keypad. It's just a bit annoying since I do use Apple's Numbers a lot and always used that keypad. 4. THE REST: I do love the left side switches that let you switch between cable and bluetooth connections and between Windows/Android and Mac/OS versions. I'm glad they added a light under the caps lock key so you know when that's on - the older model didn't have that. It's a BIG change for me, I hope as I get used to it I'll like it more. But this review hopefully can serve as a warning to anyone who needs a keyboard now and plans to use it a lot right away - if this isn't the kind of keyboard you've had before you need to know it has many changes that may take some getting used to!

Love the keyboard. Very pretty and study. However, the first keyboard I received was not turning on at all and I had to connect it to my laptop for it to tell me that it was malfunctioning. The second keyboard I have been using for a while and it’s great but I do a lot of typing for school and the E key tends to double. This really irritates me because I have to keep going back to words that say they are misspelled but really just have an extra E. UPDATE: The doubling continued to get worse and I contacted Razer supported a few times before they decided to refund my money. Bought a new keyboard off of their website. This is a nice keyboard but the doubling caused a lot of issues
